Found the Darkfire Cutlass (FOUND. Not Redeemed)
 

A few days ago I was out and about, just leveling up, making the best of my one month unlimited access. And (I can't remember where I was) guess what I stumbled upon while with my friends?

A Darkfire cutlass!

Please don't ask me where and how I got this. I'm very forgetful and i can't remember >.<

But my best guesses would have to be Beckett's Quarry, or a cave at Raven's Cove (you go all the way up the cave to the Idol with the ghosts all around them)

The Darkfire Cutlass was a promotional code weapon gained with code "darkfire". It was fun to use while I actually had space for it, but hey, I have better weapons now.

But I'm getting the feeling it's either a lucky bug/glitch, or they just allowed it to be looted.
Though it is quite interesting how it's the only uncursed sword with cursed fire, dontcha think?

I have heard rumours that expired code weapons can be found in loot now, but I've never heard of anyone finding it until now. I'll have to look out for that. ;)

I'm trying my best to find famed, lost, and cursed blades before my unlimited access expires.

Every item in the game is lootable.

They have way way reduced chances of appearing due to the other items hogging the percentage chances all the time.

You can still loot as a basic.

Nope. You can't loot a Loyalty Bandana.

But, how would you know that?

If the Darkfire Cutlass was an promo item and someone just looted it, whose to say we can't loot the others?

We need to hear of more people looting this item than just one to draw any conclusions. And A loyalty bandana has never been looted, so we can assume not every item is lootable.

@Chalupa: I understand I can loot as basic, but I'm aiming to be able to loot'n'use 'em before my month expires =]
And how about you contact the POTCO staff on that subject and see if every item is lootable, guys?

Also, how do you know if NOBODY out if the THOUSANDS playing POTCO didn't find it, eh mate? ;)

I tried getting a response from them about %tage drops for legendary weapons in specific areas and all I got was a riddle response that stated the obvious:

"El Patron's mines are filled with (blah goes here) and tales tell that his stash of legendary weapons were buried there!"

A quote like that. Not always a riddle, but something that doesn't help (you should know how Disney rolls by now).

How? I payed for a 12 month membership just a month ago and I already feel it has payed off. This game can provide much fun and it is cheap. Also, the glitches aren't too bad, I feel the game developers do a great job!

No, Chalupa, cheap as in the fact that there's membership to buy to be able to use/get better things in EVERY Disney game.
But the greatest Disney game was VMK. No membership, barely any glitches at all, sooo much fun.

Pirates is in second-first place tho :P

It's no wonder why VMK shut down. No funds, but it was the better game?

In all of them you need membership to get good stuff and guess what? Plenty of members to fund one browser-based game.

Plus, Disney signed a contract from another company that VMK would only be open for 3 years--that's the rumor
Some people the think the leader of the company for VMK pushed Disney into closing it.

TT will survive because of the content "grinding" and "crowd" Disney was pushing forward to attract.

In TT, you can expect that you WON'T reach max Laff in less than a year.

You just won't, and that tells you how much better Disney made TT worth while for paying than they did with POTCO.
