Alright, the POTCO staff is already planning their march event, but we can't decide on what to do! So, while we're tallying up this months winners, we want you to add up the tallies for next month! so go ahead and vote, before this thread closes on the 20th!

Too hard to clean up after. ^^ Voodoo dolls seem to stick to the ground really well.

Checkpoints. As long as they pass all 4 checkpoints in order idc how they do it. ^^

Definitely the sloop race. Those are easy to manuever, and what if enemy ships get in the way? Light Sloop Gang-up!

That would be the challenging bit, manuvering around them while racing. ^^

Hey Dukk, don't think the pirates had any Oxi-clean back then for me to use. XD

Sloop race would be awesome. Have them sail from one edge of the world to the other. If you sink you automatically lose. Have a ref. follow closely behind with a War Sloop while everyone else has Light Sloops. The ref. would be faster and can track everyone down. However, a PvP Ship race would be better. Easier to organize and you can cheat to win. Hehe...

there is a problem with the sloop race. if people max out the windspeed thing then what?

How about a 'you write the Report' contest, where someone takes 5 sample stories that we at the PotCO Report write and makes it into their very own PotCO Report? They have to find their own font, background, graphics, pictures, special effects, etc. We take the final 3, as voted on by the PotCO Report staff, and put them in a Poll thread. The winner could get a photographer spot on the PotCO Report.

Just an idea, so all you guys who want to be in the Report so bad, please do not flood us with PM's lol

There are problems with all the contests we can't help. All we can do is ask people not to use it, and maybe have the checkpoints watch the speeds of each boat.

PirateAhoy, maybe for May. I've already decided what loses for March will be the April event. ^^

Don't worry, I don't plan to need many checkpoints. Maybe 4 or 5 on the entire race. ^^

yea maybe one at each island or something and btw sloop race is winning and also when will u end the poll as to decide and i wont mind being a checkpoint matey

I voted for in-game sloop race but I have a problem with it being light sloops only. You should have different classes. My ship bottles are filled with war ships so I would want to use my war sloop. This way pirates of all levels can compete against others in their class. What does everyone else think?

Aye, I want to compete too, but I'm not about to lose 10,100 gold by selling my war sloop to make room for a light one!

*cheers* I geuss Jackie is going back on his word of "No more in-game contests" eh? LOL

Right now our plan is to have two races over the weekend we do this, so we may have one of them as a "use what ya got" kinda race. ^^
