Guess The Character!
 

I've seen this game on other forums, and I figured it would be fun to do this with the POTC movies and game. Here are the rules.

I will post 3 clues about a character from the movies and game. Other players have to guess who it is. But you are only allowed one guess per post. Any guesses after the first one in the post will not be counted.

If you guess the right answer, the person giving the clues will confirm it, and the person who guessed correctly will think of three clues for a different character, and so on.

If nobody has guessed the right answer for a good while (maybe a day or two), the person posting the clues can add another clue.

If the person who guessed the correct answer doesn't come back with clues or hasn't confirmed the answer for a while, I'll send a PM to them, and if they're not back by the next day, another person can take their turn.

Only official characters please.

Caution! Possible spoilers beyond!

Here are the first clues...

1. Nobody knows their real name.
2. If it weren't for this character, things could have got pretty bad!
3. Couldn't hold their own in a fight.

Nope. :p This is one character in particular. :)

Murtogg and Mullroy?

Nope. :P

I was referring to them as a 'them' so as not to give away their gender. Seeing as it's been a day, I'll give another clue. Including the gender.

4. She only appears in one movie, and isn't likely to appear in another one.

Is it the mermaid from On Stranger Tides?

Wow, this is hard. I figured it had to be Will Turner! :P

Nope. This will probably give it away, but here's the 4th clue:

Otherwise known as Jack.

I'm gonna go with either Barbossa or Calypso (AKA Tia Dalma)

Tia Dalma wasn't in the first movie, if I am correct.

I'm guessing Jack the monkey, because one of the monkeys playing him was a female, so clue 1 kind of makes sense now...? :P Probably not the answer, because he was the answer for the last round...

Is it that lady from the first movie that joined Jack's crew, and slapped him? I'm not sure about her name...

^Anamaria. Though she only appears in the first film, I think. Not sure where she went. :P

Alright; wasn't sure if she appeared in the others...

4. I cannot read, shown in one scene of the movie!

That would be Ragetti, I'm pretty sure. They both wore lady clothes as a diversion in the first movie. Pintel said to Ragetti something like, "But you can't even read!" while he was reading the Bible.

Oh man! I haven't seen the films in ages - I'll need to watch them again. :P Whose turn is it now? Andy's, or Captain Monkeys'?

*edit: It's probably Captain Monkeys' turn, because Andy guessed twice in his post, and the first guess only counts in that situation.

I didn't know what the first two clues were, but it was the third that gave it away. I may have sort of memorized that movie...
