Max Notoriety Question.
 

When you hit level 40 notoriety do you still earn skill points? IE: Can you level all weapons to level 25? I saw a comment in the user guide that made this unclear. Thanks!

my question is (which im sure no one can answer) is when u reach noto lvl 40 and lets say u ahve a weapon at lvl 24 all the rep that u get for that weapon does it go to noto also so when POTCO ups the noto cap that xp will be there bc if not then O_O

I highly doubt it but no one knows for sure until they do up the notoriety max level.

Also, when you are level 40, most of your weapons are already maxed. So if this was true and all the weapon experience carried over, it would only be about 20,000 rep or so, because by the time you hit 40 all your weapons or most will be maxed.

There was a recent article where it sounded like they were planning to boost the max level to 45. I lost the link but did anyone see it?

even though to hit 40 youre gonna have to max most of ur weapons in the first place

I'll go get the link real quick Vandelay, but the way I read it they said that it was 45 level cap. I don't think the person they interviewed actually works ON the game. ^^

My pirate is a level 40. Once you hit that magic moment, it stops showing notoriety points. The band area that turns red as you gain notoriety stays black and a skull and crossbones appear on it. Under the skull is the words "Pirate Master Level 40".

Unfortunately, we are not able to play the boss battle for the black pearl. It has been this way at lease since Thanksgiving when I completed all my quests. Maybe if Disney gets this playable, the Master Level may allow you to reach the 45 they talk about in the article.

Im not a tester, so I cant give you any insight on what happens on test. But Ive heard you can play the boss battle for the Pearl and there are also sea monsters. However, Ive not seen this personally and cant verify it.

The boss battle does not allow you to go past 40. I completed the boss battle before it went off line. And lol I went through it 3 or 4 times with guild mateys, and we didn't see any sea monsters. However, who knows what you might see when it comes back on line :p

seen an L41 in Kingshead last night with a guild member of theirs - helping the member build LV's, so somehow L41 is possible.... thats all I know :)

That's quite weird because I still have my pirate master symbol, and cannot earn any notoriety rep :(

Thats Awesome I thought i was seeing it wrong i saw a guy running through Beckettts Quarry today LVL 41 .. he was going to fast to catch while i was blasting away .. and when i finished i couldnt find him again...so .. figured it was a mistake by me .. cool theres hope for a future after all!

It can't be a regular player. Must be a developer. It would be totally unfair to let some level past 40 and not others.

unsure about if the player was a dev or not - he wasn't too pleased we were there with our staff's building LV's with the Vet Company that marches there - I think he wanted to use them for his guild member - and mentioned using another server - then *poof* gone ")
