:) Got my limited-edition cloth map today. Comes with a certificate of authenticity and everything. :)

*grumbles* Lucky. That seems to Disney's weakness...they are predictable. You pre-order something, and you wait, wait, eat cookies, wait some more, and then, maybe you get it... *rolleyes*

I just got mine today. They sent me two Certificate of Authenticity, probably by accident.

Just an idea, why don't we tell everyone what our certificate number is. It's printed on the paper you get with the map.

Mine is 839 of 3500 and 840 of 3500.

3,500 = 800?

Wow, Disney underestimated us all a bit more than I thought. :P

Judging by these certificate, there must be 3500 certificates in total. Some may not belong to anyone because if there are so many in a specific number, they must be leftovers.

I thought all founders will get the map, but the pre-orders are the ones that have already been shipped.

I didnt get mine today.. both my husband and I both should be getting them since we both were founders and pre-ordered. I was in beta since the very beginning... and somehow it just doesnt seem right that the founders priveledge was extended.. but that horse was already beat down :piratetongueor4:

I signed up the day before pre-orders ended, so hopefully I should get mine in the mail soon. ^^

Seems like they're shipping them to the East Coast first. I live close to where they work, and I haven't gotten mine, lol.

Yes, only people who Pre-Ordered will get the maps, and I did. So I'm surprised it's not here yet.

I'm not east coast, I'm west coast, and I received mine today. They might not be shipping from where they work, but maybe from a central distribution center.

It' not that big, it's about 11x17, and it's printed on a heavy canvas or something like canvas.

LOL just saw it. Mine's probably going in the trash when I get it - not even real scale to the map in PotCO! And to think that there will probably be more islands in the future? Ridiculous. And where's this 'crew kit' that they promised.

Mine went back into the tube it came in. With it being Disney, numbered, and with a certificate, it could be worth money someday.

Im wondering though... if we pay for two accounts.. and have been since beta.. we both preordered... will we both get a kit? I was under the assumption that I would. It only seems right. Im kinda ticked off that only one came today and I wont even get to see it. :sadmh9:

Alright Gang, I just got one in the mail, #918/3500. I didn't Pre-Order. I DID sign up on the 1st day (Oct 31st 2007) for full annual membership...so maybe it is for all the founders. Don't know. I sure as heck wasn't expecting one though...and esp. not expecting #918...Groovin :)

Hrm... maybe I will get a map then, cause I don't remember if I signed up on the 30th, 31st, or the 1st. ^^

I expected maybe 1,500, but not what we got. Anyways, I think the post office just won't give me mine because I've read the entire thread and alot of people on the east coast have theirs, but mine's nowhere to be found. I did pre-order (checked up on it.), and it's had more than enough time to get here if SB's already gotten his. Disney, you always shipped my Toontown stuff, don't let me down now...

I just got my map today, I posted pictures in the poll thread about this same subject.

I don't remember the exact number (I had the map out of the tube for as short as possible lol) but it's less than 1,040. I live by Chicago so anyone in that area looking for one to come still should expect it soon.

Finally got mine: #1342. I live in SoCal. Boy, you guys aren't kidding about that sticky tape. In fact, my whole tube was sticky and covered with dirt. Yuck!

The ink on the front feels rubbery.

Mine came yesterday.. #986 and Im in NC. My husband got his last week.. he hasnt opened his.. so dont know his number. So it is one per account.. not household.

There is no personal info on the certificate unless you don't feel like sharing which number map you got. I looked closer at my picture and my map is number 1093 not 1030 something like I said before, I got the spot of the 3 mixed up. :p

how can getting one map per pre-ordered account not be fair? We paid for both and pre-ordered on both...
If I got mine quite a few days after my husband did... then I bet there are still a lot out there.

Ah, I didn't know if it said something like. "This certificate of authenticity is given to so-so to show authenticity of the accompanying map. Blah blah blah"

I am definitely in the market to purchase one of these as I was unfortunate and did not get one. So just to throw this out there.

Got my map just today, it was one of the higher numbered ones (something like #3240 out of 3500). So if you're still waiting, it probably won't be much longer.

I just got ours yesterday, too. Number 2944 of 3500. Not sure what I'll do with it, but I got it.

Weren't we supposed to get a cloth map/crew kit? What part of that was the crew kit?

I've been wondering that...

Hubby didnt open his.. but I opened mine. I will be framing mine and putting it up in our master bathroom. Its decorated w/ beach/lighthouses/sailboats. We have a few big wooden ships in there on a shelf.. along with a couple pirate nutcrackers and a sea captain nutcracker. It will fit in perfectly w/ the theme!

ah i got mine yesterday and still cant get this glue tape off HELP!

Oh interesting people are still receiving their maps! That's good news for people that haven't received theirs yet :)

Maybe there sending them in waves then, instead of sending all 3,500 at once. ^^

That is good news as well. I have contacted Disney a few times because I have not received it yet but have never gotten a response from them.

Nickpf - once you get the tape off can you let us know the number. I am curious if it is in the original 3500.

Got it today. Number 1316. it would have take me less time to drive and pick it up if the return address is correct then the mailing time.

But it got here. I was about to give up hope.

Well, I got my map yesterday. It's actually nicer than I expected. I like it.

That's odd, because I live near where you live/ south of their office or where it shipped and I got extremely less. I feel so lucky to have 231.

Oh, and yes, it's ridiculously sticky for me too.

I finally got my map and I have number 30 of 3,500! Woot! And as many have said, it is much nicer than I expected.
