Fan Event = Beta Key?
 

Just got home from the Fan Event here in Salt Lake. I was THRILLED when we signed in at the event because we all got BETA KEYS!! Woot woot! I know what I am going to be doing the rest of the night!

Want to give that Beta key over to this lass here :p ? By the way, was the event fun, and is it only in Salt Lake :)?

No, they had different cities. Basically we got to watch the first Pirates movie, see the trailer and got a little kit with a Jack Sparrow bandana, numbered picture, beta key and a fancy lanyard. LOL

Just got word from Hollywood. Same event was held at the El Capitan theater. I be one scurvy jealous pirate right now. Nothing was held in my neck of the woods. (Atlanta) I will be happy to get in line for an extra beta key if any mateys out there have friends, family or strangers that were willing to give them up.

Arg matey that is not fair. I got a ticket to my closest event in Houston but was not able to make it. Double Arg. Oh well, do tell us how beta testing is progressing though, I'm hoping the game will make its debut in about a month. Triple arg for not going to the event.

Where can I find out about the fan events?

That is awesome!!! I did manage to win tickets to the fan event. However.... due to a MAJOR delay on the freeway we got there late. It it's a shame to, since I already HAVE a beta key and would have been more than happy to donate it another happy pirate longing to play this game. I'm going to email Disney and see if I can still get a beta key. I'll keep you posted on that.

BTW Maleficent, we'll have to arrange a time so we can meet in the game and I can add you to my buddy list. :)

Just the little kit we got. It contained the BETA key, a fan cd with screenshots, a Jack sparrow bandana, numbered picture (mine is 939/10,000!) a nice pass, all came in a cool pirates online case.

They gave prizes for the people that really dressed up.

I Have A Question? If Someone Got A Beta Key For One Account Would It Work For All Of Them? /Nicky

I would say it would not work for everybody. Since they only want a certain amount of people to be on the site, why would they give them all the same code? If they did somebody might post it on the a site for all to see lol. They aren't allowed to post any pics or such about the site yet. Maybe that includes Beta Keys as well?
