Time to add some more servers back?
 

So I was going on to POTCO today, and I like to go on quiet servers to loot by myself, to avoid drama, or loot stealers, and to my surprise, there were NO quiet servers. That's right, if you look... every server was ideal! Now, they really need to add back the servers, or it will be hard to do many things by yourself, such as loot or take on the QAR.

That's why I like to play at night. Less crowded. Good post kid.

They added 4, but took away 2: Cortevos and K-something. So really, we only got 2, but even I haven't seen the servers this full... well, ever. I'll blame the release of On Stranger Tides and hopes that draws more people to the game, which leads to more servers again. If stuff like this keeps happening, they'll HAVE to.

Kokoros was the other one they took out, so really we only gained 2 servers. And imagine this during summer, too.

I wish there were as many servers as when I'd started the game. There was plenty of choice! Now there is no privacy. And Sharktooth, I bet that half of the population on those servers are AFK players.

Everyone plays during the day and evening, but not as much play at night. :chris8:

They also added a server to Test. I fear the money banks could be running low and having to make cuts. We definetly need to get the Caribbean going again! Invite your friends and Family to join us in the oceans! We have the power to change what happens in the oceans. The more paying customers the more updates and more they can do with the extra money to spend.

Need to worry less about adding servers to test and start adding updates. Truly, I know few people who actually get on Test just to play. Sure there are a few, but many people have low characters because they never go on Test unless there is an update.

Theres more than ya think mate. Theres many guilds that only play test. Theres just not that many of us. I mean its not like we have something saying we're a tester in game over our heads ;) So you never know. Mines of decent level.... Some don't even bother to come to live anymore cause the community is well better there just not as many there thats the only reason i play live more than test. Theres many high levels more so than the lower levels. :piratear:

Its time to add more servers back for certain. Sharktooth's screens are just proof of that. There are times now when I struggle to find a quiet server, and some of these "quiet" servers aren't really even that quiet. I go to invasions on quiet servers to find about a dozen people at each beachside Barricade. POTCO claims that they removed them because either they were faulty, or because they were unused. We all know the prior is not true, but they WERE used. They were probably used by just as many people as Abassa, just not at the same time, which is why they were nice and quiet so you could go play alone or with just one or two people. Whereas I used to find some random quiet server to go loot Tormenta in, now there's almost always a person or two there. With the release of On Stranger Tides COMBINED with Summer coming up, all the servers being ideal will become an every day norm, and if POTCO doesn't add more servers back, there is going to be major cramming issues.

Seriously, plus there was noob who kept tp, so me and my friend deguilded her( after about 10 warnings of course! ), then we ignored her. Thanks. To the help of grenadiers, we got her to leave ( wink wink ) permanently! Since we were on the back of tormenta in the thrall room, we weren't worried, but then out of no where she TELEPORTED BACK!!! me and my friend were freaking out! If that glitch continues, its gonna be WAY crowded!!!!

The servers seemed to be reset or something, cause it's normal (er) now. Kinda annoying how they just had to take away Kokoros. Used pretty often by everyone, and the Shadow Sorcerors' server. Grr. WHY!?!?!?!?! meh

Well, on an up side at least we know lots of people are still playing ^^;
You think this is bad, Pirates of the Burning Sea only has 2 servers. Good luck finding a quiet time there

Servers are being added and removed left and right. Kokoros, Navermo, Navona, Mosona, Sabona, Desereau... No clue what they're doing, but hopefully they'll be finished soon; this is crashing so many people.

Anywho, yeah, I miss the old quiet servers. Galaacare was the most quiet server ever. It was the Rouge Covenant's guild server! We could always loot with just the guild and friends. No one was even at Darkhart back then. Just us...

They got rid of my favorite server: Chetagua!

i play at night too but thats only because thats when my guild is on...

but they are probably on because of the number of players.

anyway i think disney took away the servers to make the updates come out quicker because they have to moniter the things people say they dont have enough people to look on every server

No, they took away the servers that had the least pirates on them daily.

I believe they took most of the servers away because it was taking up too much Hard Drive space on their network of servers.

That, and probably to reduce packet load on the networks, so people don't go getting high ping time on every channel they visit. Most likely also for performance reasons too.

Maybe they are running out of money too.

Those were the GOOD servers. -_-
