Post here what you think of the movie.

I havent seen it yet. Im going tomorrow. I already have the tickets and everything.

I saw it last night at the midnight premiere. Blackbeard is awesome. Also you will recognize the QAR - the programmers at POTCO did a really good job of portraying it in game.

I'm going to see it today, so excited!

Please No Spoilers!! That would be just wrong.

Can't wait to see it. I'm going in just an hour or two. It sounds awesome.

Saw it today. I wouldn't say it lived up to all its hype, but it's still an enjoyable film. Jack's hilarious in it, and I think I annoyed the cinema with all my laughing!

It was a great movie! Saw the midnight showing! The QAR is very similar to in-game. Black Beard is one mean guy.

Barbossa was surprisingly my favorite in the movie. Jack is the best but dang... You felt a sudden awe with Barbossa everytime you saw him.

I saw the movie couple of hours ago. I have to agree with Tom. And well, Barbossa is epic at the end correct?

Geoffrey Rush is a great actor. He has stole all 3 of the previous movies.

I second that, am I the only person in the world who thinks he stole the show in The King's Speech?

I loved that movie, but lets stay on topic, shall we?

lol, Now jack has an entire fleet AND the Pearl. Would've liked the movie better if the QAR fought the Pearl at the end. Blackbeards death wasn't that good.

I enjoyed this movie very much. Geoffrey Rush is a great actor. He is my second favorite pirate, second only to Sparrow himself.

Straying a little of topic here, but why does eveybody think the 3rd movie was so bad? I didn't, infact it is one of my favorites, but that is just me.

Aye I liked the 3rd to, that final battle was epic.

Did anybody else besides me catch the Pirates of the Caribbean Online reference?

One part I'm disappointed in, and that's lack of gunpowder and seagulls.

Where's the ship battles?

POTC 4 was entertaining but still kinda eh for me. What was up with Blackbeard and the weird magic stuff? It annoyed me that they took a real person and made him so ridiculously fictional. Overall worth a watch but didn't feel any connection to the characters or see any point in the plot.

Also, I guess the whole point of the movie was that Jack had feelings for Penelope Cruz (I forget her character name) and saved her over Blackbeard? But then at the end, nothing happened with that relationship and Jack left her on that island, so what the heck was the point of ANY of it?? And we didn't get to know Cruz's character at all anyway, so I didn't really feel like we should CARE what happened with her or with that relationship. Anyway, like I said, the movie was entertaining but I didn't connect with the characters or see any point in the plot at all. And the fact that they took Blackbeard and turned him into some voodoo practicing weirdo with a magic sword and totally perverted the REAL story of a REAL person was impossible for me to look past.

I just went and saw it a few hours ago. I absolutely loved it. I don't think any fan should be disappointed!

Definitely made up for the 3rd movie for me. ;)

I just loved the fact that they decided to add elements from the rides. POTC 1 did a good job at it, unlike 2 & 3. I just don't want to see a ride that is so great get these ridiculous additions like Davy Jones in some fog. Let's just hope there's no "Will & Elizabeth" style sub-plots in the future.

I agree wit Jason as well. They took Blackbeard which is a legendary pirate and the only non-fictional pirate in the movie and made him into a completely fake pirate with powers.

I liked the movie but was not as impressed as i thought i would be. It lacks a lot of action and jumps from scene to scene randomly(bad plot). Everyone has their opinion and i think On Stranger Tide was my least favorite out of all four. But still that does not make it a bad movie as II'S PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN WERE TALKING ABOUT HERE!:agapirateju3:
