I was kind of lost running around trying to do quests on my own (for the third time),they where gitting harder and harder.Hooked up with the Burning Legion now the game has completely changed.

I would like to say thanks to all the Burning Legion Pirates out there that helped me with my first round at Kingshead. I had so much fun there...ok not really, but thanks again. I'm ready for my next round at Kingshead.....Man Grenades really stink.... But I cannot wait to use them!!!

Before POF went down there were a few posts asking how to become members. We have losts those post sadly, anthing from November 22 and up until yesterday, November 26 are the ones lost.

Please inquire again. I will gladly help you out. We are a fun bunch of people to be around. We love to plunder, and sail mainly at night together. Send out a guild call for help, and someone will come running, if not 5 or 6......

If you see anyone with Burning Legion under their name, just stop and ask. Hopefully they will put out the call and an officer will come running.

The only thing we ask that you know is how to change "servers " and teleport to another player, and if not don't be afraid to ask. we will help!!!!!

Once you are a member of Burning Legion and are an active palyer we will send information about our guild website and guild teamspeak.

I am glad you guys are keeping this thread busy for me. I have had trouble getting into the site lately and have been busy with the guild site. One great thing about our guild members is we will help ANYONE...no matter their guild.

Sadly I asked people from another guild if they could tell me where to find one of the MANY burried treasures, and I got no response at all.

I have stopped many times to respond to a random pirate question I happened to see while running down a beach or even while doing my own quests. I know many other members of our guild have done the same.

So, feel free to ask one of us and if we do not know the answer we will ask the guild members and someone will surely know.

Last night was a blast, we were taking between 500 and 800 gold each time out. WOW! What fun! I cannot wait for tonight! Hubby is closing so I finally have the computer all to myself Woo Hoo! I'm stocking up provisions and ready for the call......

Last nights plundering was awesome!!! Before or After we get Eliza McFury through her grenade quests at Kingshead I hope we do some more. Who cares about quests when we get that much gold??

Ahoy fellow pirates, I have been MIA for a few day, but I wanted to let you all know that I am still around and kicking....... hope to see you all on tonight I need a good plunder run!

I have to say these guys (and gals) are a blast to play with. On my first night with the guild I leveled twice in cannons and I was able to complete a couple of quests. Not to mention that almost doubled my gold (Dreadbeard will be proud). Thanks for inviting me into the guild and this game got so much better. Please join a guild if you want to bring this game to an all new level .

If you have a login name that is a different name than your avatar in the game can you please put your character name in your post so we all know who you are?

It is nicer to know who is posting by the name we know on pirates.

You can either just type in the name or create a signature with it in it.

I'm not sure of we have BL on test yet . I haven't gone on test much sense live launched on Oct 31st. If you do decide to come to live make sure you let us know . I'm sure everyone will agree you will always be a welcome guest/honary member of BL

I was playing with an idea for another "burning" image for your Sig,
Unfortunately what I was trying to do, did not work the way I wanted it to.
And the limit of 19k file size, makes it difficult to do anything too complicated.

However, I do have some left over artwork, which I threw together into a banner image. If anyone wants to use it, feel free to copy and save. If anyone needs a larger, better res file, just let me know.

As for the Burning Legion this is an open server guild. Eliza, Dreadbeard, Don, and I have Test accounts also, as for the guild on test you would have to talk to Dreadbeard about that. Send him a pm and see what's up. If he hasn't already started a BL on Test, maybe one of us will get that going and then send out an invite to you. As for now, you are more than welcome to made a free pirate and join us there. We are not very active on test but will probably be in the future. Who knows........ I hope to see you soon!!

I just picked this game up yesterday...i'm noteriety level 8 so far.
I really enjoy the sailing and plundering part of the game the most so far.
I was looking for a good, fun, guild that was a bit serious about the plundering.

I haven't been on in a while becuase it's BOOOOOOORRRRING waiting for the Boss battle to be fixed, and I hate leveling up now that these stupid low levels can dmg you (and some of them do some big dmg!) and you get nothing for them. *headdesk*

Also, we except all skill levels. Don't get discouraged if you are just starting out. There is no better way to level up quickly then to work with a group, Not to mention getting very rich with our nightly plundering party.

I haven't been on in like a week or so, and I'm so sorry! I'[m fiending big time, too. I've been busy with work and whatnot, but I'll try to be on in the next couple of days!!!

I am so glad I joined the BURNING LEGION on Halloween !!

Although I don't always get the chance to join my fellow BL Guild Members [I need to learn what island + what time to meet everyone to join in, then add you to my POTC friend list so I can teleport to you], I try to set a good example within the game [unlike a few other players online]:

- If I see a player who is a lower # than me [I'm currently at 27] struggling I help them out
- I offer tips to new players so that they can increase their stats quickly
- When asked about my "Gold Name" I politely let them know by quoting the FAQs
- If I see a player without a Guild I encourage them to join BURNING LEGION

I remember what it was like "to start" and it's nice to pair up / help out other Pirates [because I feel that anyone being mean within a game ruins it for everyone else] !!!

Right now I am leveling up weapons [except voodoo staff as I haven't reached that level] and ships [I have a GALLEON as well as a FRIGATE - I'm at the level where I can purchase a WAR SHIP but like a lot of people I don't have enough earned gold coins - I hear that's a big pet peeve is trying to gain enough gold for a WAR SHIP]

I'm currently on the Quest to get Dr. GROG apart of Jack Sparrow's Pirate Crew [my problem is that I can not find a HUGE ALLIGATOR required to collect it's LECHIN from under the belly - anyone know what Island(s) they are on?]. YES, I often get bumped from the game [or the game freezes up on me] just like everyone else ..... when that happens I just figure it's time to take a break from playing online.

I know this is my first post but I'm generally more of a lurker. Anyway, you guys sound like a fun, ACTIVE, bunch and that's really what I'm looking for.

I'm a Pacific Coaster, too [which means there are times I play the game late @ night / very early in the morning]. My Character is Roger Macgrim [Level 27, currently completing the "Obtain Dog Grog for Jack Sparrow's Crew" Quest].

I would encourage any POTC Online Player to please join the BURNING LEGION GUILD [no matter what Guild you are in, if I see you need help in the game then I will offer help because I feel it makes the game fun when Pirates works together].

As of today Burning Legion will have an official name change to House of Dread. Our beloved guild master has left the game and due to limitations in the transfer of guild power we were forced to create a new guild. Everything that you all came to know and love in BL will remain the same. We have the same great people just a different name. If you asked to join BL and haven't heard back from us yet please let know and we will get you signed up.
