Ahoy Shadow Sorcerer mates and fellow-forumers! Here be the place where you can read up about our new veterans, officers, etc. We will be announcing new member promotions here! Feel free to congratulate new veterans/officers/etc and if you have any comments/questions/concerns about anything concerning promotions, please contact a senior officer, co-guildmaster, or Davy Fireskull himself. Congratulations to Jack Redrunner and Jade Winterstorm for being promoted to Veteran! They are former Elite Ones Veterans and Officers, so I gave them that rank in the Sorcerors. And yes, if a guild merges with us, their ranks pass on to ours, in case you are confused. Gratz guys! |
Congratulations to Captain Sharktooth on his promotion to Officer! You've earned it mate. You've been a great supporter of the guild in game and here on POF, not to mention you helped us out a lot merging in Elite Ones.
Now... I decided to have some fun with him before promoting him. He had to face a bunch of crazy ordeals. I believe Crestshot was taking screens of the chat logs, so she can post those. Here were his ordeals: 1) Tell Billy he's pretty. 2) Tell me I'm pretty. 3) Go find a tree and praise it. 4) Stab that tree. 5) Stab Billy. 6) Poke the sleeping Dog. 7) FIGHT FIVE ANGRY PARTNERS N CRIME MEMBERS! Lets see... what screenshots do I have... ah yes! Here we are... Here is him praising a tree near Butcher Brown. You've always heard the saying "Let sleeping dogs lie?" Well, you see, I told Sharktooth to go poke our sleeping Dog. Yeah, he poked him. You're always willing to help out, you're compassionate, your funny, and well, who doesn't love a dog?! Well mates, at the meeting on Saturday we did have a few promotions, so let's recognize our wonderful Sorcerors! Congratulations to Johnny Gunrage for achieving Veteran! Johnny has been with us for a while, and has been a loyal member from the start. He's not the biggest pirate, but he's got a heart of gold. He is always there to entertain us, help us out, transfer a bit of gold should someone need it, and of course... he makes us lose The Game quite frequently... I decided after a while that Johnny had more than earned this promotion to veteran. Congratulations Johnny! Will has been with us for a few months, and has shown how he is dedicated to this guild. He socializes with our guild, does activities with us, sails, and is all around a really fun guy. He currently is in charge of running Weekly Mini-Events with Dog Gunmorgan, and assists in managing larger scale events with me. I couldn't be more thankful to have you mate. As clarification for everyone, Christopher is still our Party Officer, but his rank is now moved up into Council of Shadow. Now, I thought for a bit about what to get you... Congratulations to Mr Awesome for Achieving Veteran! Awesome is, to put it simply, awesome. Since the day he joined on his little pirate, Red Beard, I knew he was going to be a wonderful member. I got one or two recommendations to promote him to veteran sooner, but I waited for a bit. Either way, he is a great choice. He is always talking, socializing, and is one of the friendliest and fun-loving pirates you could ask for. He is also extremely helpful, always the first to teleport to someone who's got the KO. Last, but certainly not least, Awesome is someone who puts this guild above everything else. There have been a few times where I have felt stressed, and he is always there to help me through this. He makes sure that he does everything in his power and beyond to make this guild great, and he has succeeded. Thank you, Awesome. Congratulations to Doctor Jason Dan Suncutter for achieving Officer! Dan is one of those people that's hard not to love. He's one of those people that can make a person look like an idiot with a single sentence, but not hurt anyone's feelings. He's got that sarcastic, I-Don't-Care-Give-Me-Rum attitudes to most things, making him one of the guild's MANY clowns (we haven't forgotten you, Christopher :p ). Even with his funny, sarcastic side, he's also got a very serious side. When he sees that his friends are being bugged, he is one of the first to tell the bully off. When it comes to deep things some people may want to talk about, the Doctor is always there to throw in his wise words... and maybe a wise crack. He's shown immense care for this guild, being quite apologetic when he misses an event. Doc, I'm quite glad we have you. You make this guild a truly amazing, funny, and weird place. He has a great love for this guild and all the people in it, respecting everyone he meets. He very helpful, willing to give great advice to newer members and to help people out with tasks they need. He is extremely dedicated to us, and loves his guildmates like family. Every time he comes online, the guild turns more fun and lively than it normally is, wiht his great sense of humor, always positive attitude, and kind words. At our meeting today, we had two promotions, one to veteran, and the other to officer! Congratulations to Syndic Thrawn on his promotion to Veteran! Syndic, having been with us for a month or so now, has proven himself to be a great member. He can interact with just about anyone, and is an extremely patient and mature person. Of course, he's got his very fun side, and even taught me that Pizza is a vegetable (I didn't believe it at first either). He also has his first pirate, Meghan Darkhara in the guild, and both of his pirates have completed the Black Pearl Boss Battle in this guild. Being here for a good while, and showing his loyalty and how much he fits in, he definitely has earned Veteran. Congratulations to Roger Swordshot on his promotion to Officer! What can I say about Roger? He's had this coming for quite a long while. When we first met, to say the least, we had our differences. But later things changed. Roger has grown a lot during his time in this guild. A year ago, he definitely was not the same person he is today. I think many of us can agree that the change is for the better. When he comes online, he is always greets us with a big greeting full of love and Roger-ness (that's a very good thing). He is always willing to help one of his mates with a quest or leveling, and helps new guildmates get settled in. He strives to make this guild the best it can be, and never hesitates to suggest something. Him and I are quite close as well. I want to just say that I'm very glad I met him. Roger, you're a great Sorceror, and a greater friend to me. Thank you, and Congratulations! Now... what to get you for a present... How about a nice little ship...
