Got my War Frigate
 

I feel so accomplished. Haven't seen many in Open yet. =D

I'm saving for a War Sloop. I'm in no rush to get a big ship, I only have forever to play this game you know.

Wow, congrats! And I thought I'd been plundering a lot. I still need 20K for that frigate. Good job! :)

I don't have all that long...I was just signing up for one month so my time is limited.

I named it the Gunwale Despoiler.

There's no rush but I mean it's a nice feeling to have the best ship I can get early on, so that I can focus on other things, like the story quests and getting weapon skills up, rather than raising money. Plundering is more fun when it's not towards a goal -- just for the heck of it.

Money came in a few different ways, the most prominent being Poker at Padres Del Fuego. Just be careful there, though. Bad things can happen to your money quickly. =)

Congratulations, that's quite an achievement. I haven't seen many War Frigates about actually. :)

I have seen a war frigate on the water. Those things can use my light sloop as the dinghy!

Congrats It is no small task for sure and you have to earn those last credits up to 60k. Cant trade in a ship and be over 60k (for those who don't know, 60k is max credits you can earn and you stop earning reps if at 60k). Myself and one of me best mates Isabella Melania both have one and we simply run over ferrets and vipers. Like swatting flies

Yeah, but war sloops are wicked fast.

What does everyone think is the best ship though? I know the War Frigate is the most expensive (and leads me to think the disney guys think it's best) but the War Galleon has larger cargo hold and better broadsides.

I guess if you sail with a crew, you will need a War Frigate (front guns ftw!) and if you sail alone a War Galleon will suffice?

I prefer my War Galleon than my War Frigate.

On my War Frigate, I average around 600+ per trip.

On my War Galleon, I average around 1000+ per trip.

When I sail alone, I always take my war galleon. Has tons of broadsides, and I can take down level 30 ships in a couple of hits.

If I have a crew, it's gotta be the war frigate. They're all at the front cannons, and shoot the ship while I back up. I keep a safe distance and no damage to me :)

I was going to get a War Frigate, but I decided to stick with my Frigate. I am saving up for the upgrades.

The nice thing about the war frigate is the hull strength. You can take a more hits before you sink, especially if you're going for ships that carry royal chests.

It is painfully slow, though, so I still have a light sloop and a war sloop, for when I'm just sailing to get somewhere.

I'd love to hook up with you guys who have a war galleon or frigate and see what I have ahead. I'd love to work the cannons and level up on my skills,.. how can one go about meeting up with one of you War Ship People..?

I respect you, but I'll not War-ship you...lol,.. ok,.. bad joke but I couldn't resist... hehe

I Find that War Galleons are easy to defeat and I only use a light sloop!
You might not believe it but the all have differences:

War Frigate : Medium type ship as it is has a "closer to the water hull". This
means that it is able to escape easier. Speed is medium as it would most likely outpace a War Galleon and lose to a War Sloop

War Sloop : This is both small and closer to the water. It can stay far away and is less likely to be hit in the hull. It is a speedy ship and will escape from both opposite types of ships.

War Galleon : This has the most cannon power and good for attacking with both broadsides and cannons however its hull is more likely to be damaged as it is slow and it has high hull.

So buy a...
War Frigate if your more likely to have a crew and go around defeating multiple ships for a good time:

War Galleon if your more likely to be attacking other War Frigates and galleon however with the hull being high be aware:

War Sloop if you need a speedy escape and want to fire cannons from fire away.

Sloop-------------------------Figate-------------------------Galleon

Totally, i bought a light galleon (ive been playin for a week) and i was like, dude, why am i in first gear, and how do i go to second gear? it was so slow, i want a regular sloop so much.:12_1_138::laughks2::12_1_138:

Ive had enough money for a War Frigate for a long time.. but my War Galleon, although slow.. holds more cargo and kicks butt most of the time. When I get enough gold I'll buy it as a "second ship" and have both. I had the War Sloop for a while when I was saving for the War Galleon.. and I did like its speed!

After owning a War Frigate and War Sloop, my War Sloop is still my favorite ship! I love it for some reason.

War Sloops are super Weak and niether slopps or galleons have front cannons which is a huge disadvantage
