Sorry if my original post was a bit blunt; I did not mean it that way, spur of the moment.

This, I decided, will most likely be a temporary hiatus. This game is causing a lot of stress for me and I just can't see myself logging on without tons of...drama. I really love all of the great friends I've made (and keep making) and all the new people and of course I'll stay here on the forums. POForums is my morning coffee, of course I won't forget it!

All in all, when I see things have gotten better or I see it worth coming online, I will (new updates, etc) I may log on from time to time, (I can't just leave you guys without every saying "Hi!")
and..of course be on to see my guild. Well, that's that. Farewell mates, although I will still be on POF every day. =)

WHAT?! Slouyx! You can't just leave us! Are you really going to leave all of us? You just... can't! I mean... I see why but... this game won't be the same without you... please come back to visit sometimes.... at least... man, we'll miss you. More than you'll ever know. I still remember back over the summer, when an officer invited little Prim into the guild. You didn't plan on staying, but you did. And look where that took you. Look where that took me. Look where that took the Shadow Sorcerors! We wouldn't be us without you! Even though you are leaving, you have definitely left your mark on us, POF, and POTCO as a whole. And a very good and strong mark that was. You have truly been a great Officer to the Sorcerors, and an even greater friend. Fair winds in your travels, and do come back to visit us occasionally. I'll be heartbroken if I never see "Kate Gunhound/Prim has come online." again. It was great Slouyx, it truly was. :)

Dont read this as my Co-Gm, but as a valued friend. I give you the thanks of a lifetime. You helped make Emerald the happiest place in the carribean, and I couldnt have done it without you. I know this has been up in the air for a long time and I dont blame you. You deserve better then what I and the game can give you at this point. I will make Emerald the best guild around. I can promise you that. You are one of the greatest people I have ever met. And, You will always be a greater friend. We will miss you lots, and you know that.

Ever since I've returned to the game, I knew that you put the guild before anything else in the game. You were always selfless, always willing to help others - help to continuously augment the guild. You've worked so hard and showed so much dedication to make the guild what it is today. Your leave will not go unrecognized. You've left your mark on the game and POF alike, but also on the guild. Like Blade said, I want ER to continuously evolve; if we as a guild didn't want that, then all of your work would have gone to waste. That's the last thing we want. Trust me, this guild won't be the same without you, but we'll keep at it. All throughout the time that I've actually known you, you became one of my closest in-game friends. That's something that I'll continue to appreciate as well. You were an excellent Co-GM with almost unprecedented dedication, but you were an even greater friend. I wish you the best of luck in life, and I hope that you take time, sometime, to visit. The game just won't be the same without you coming online, whether on here, the game, or whatever else, at least sometime. We'll miss you tons; but it was great. :]

I can't say that I understand why it came to this for you, but I'm sure you have good reasons for leaving. I will miss you a whole lot, my friend. I hope that even though you are leaving the game, you will not leave your friends and drop us a line now and again..... and if you ever change your mind and return, I and the rest of us will welcome you back with open arms.

It has been both an honor, and a pleasure, to be a part of the Emeralds with you as Co-GM, and I am truly sorry to see you go. I do understand, for I have been at that point when I retired from WoW.. Hopefully after you get a breath, you can at least find time to come and visit us who cherish you so much... And I know that everybody in the Emerald Regiment fully appreciates everything you have done for the guild, and we will not let that be in vein!

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're not leaving! Slouyx, do take as much time off as you need. Do whatever is best for you, regardless of what others say. Glad that you're still here though! And remember that I support whatever choice you decide to make.

Pretty much what Davy said. :D I'm glad to read that; but please, don't feel compelled to play if you think you'll log off feeling stressed out. It is a game afterall. ;)

I'm not sure if this is a personal question to ask.. but what was causing your stress so i (or anyone else) may help you.

Well Kate, after hearing about your decision, this is my thought to you... This game is supposed to be fun, relaxing, an escape from reality, NOT stressful. If it is truly causing you stress, and you find yourself wondering why you even play, then you are making the right choice. There is a song from Semisonic called Closing Time. The last few lines of that song read like this, "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end". So, what you should know is this, whether you decide to leave or simply take a hiatus and stay, we support your decision. We are your friends and we love you...

Kate, i hope you change your mind but i definitely understand taking a break if the game isn't fun for you. I'm really glad to have met you and gotten to know you somewhat :)

Myself and our ER mates will miss you greatly. I do hope that you will be back soon and that you can just enjoy and not stress over the guild, or various other things in game. I know you are passionate and serious about ER, you are dedicated and only want great things for the guild. That same passion and dedication can cause the game to become stressful and no fun when things are taken too seriously.

As others have said, I support you and your decision and only wish you happiness. :pirate_8:
