What?! Really?! Ugh... I was looking forward to playing today after a long, tiring week of school... gahh.... is test still closed?

Hopefully they will either be...

1. Returning our servers
2. Putting in Infamy

Okay, so we got about a half hour to wait. Thats not too bad. Hopefully I can see my dear Mosona once again.

It was really sudden and a bad time i was just doing quests and its like Pirates Online will be closing for maintenance in 5 minutes and than it just kept counting down. Than after last message DCed about a min after :)

Hopefully they're adding alot of servers back or something. I hope they're not taking more servers away. :(

Maybe we'll end up with one big server.

well just 15 more minutes! hope they put infamy and the servers back. its been tough trying to find an empty spot to look for fames and legendarys at tormenta but lots of major pwnage lol bunch of no good kill stealers

I'd be hoping infamy, but with all the bugs on test, I think it's too early.

^^ All the bugs on test?! What test?! Its not Infamy. Test has been closed for a week. We have had almost NO time to test it. They won't be releasing Infamy. I'm sure of that.

Yeah almost no hope for infamy if they did. They must have worked on it very well or a very risky move by Disney :)

That's a good point, but think of Raven's Cove. That was out maybe like what? Two weeks? Then it came on live almost immediately. If they screwed up on Raven's Cove, I'm not sure it would be any different with another big update.

2/3 of my characters have been demoted to level 0 :p

Cannot access journal, weapons, etc.

edit: Played on a 3rd character, game froze...now it's level 0 too. So 3/3 of my characters are all level 0 now. :smiley_toxic:

Bad new potions dont work u dont get xp or the potions i made ten hard potions before i realized this

Woot woot. I was having trouble taking off a coat, so I log out and come back in. Of course, I'm level 0 now.... same with my brother.

This and last week to me have been the worst weeks for Pirates Online, I mean Test has been closed and we had like alot of bugs, glitches e.t.c. They close live and it leads back to the Level Zero Glitch, and they take away servers which leads to more lag for people. :degen:

Yeah Disney is like really messing everything up gonna go play potbs for a bit while this mess get resolved and test opens up again

You all act like Disney is doing this intentionally.

The reason Test has been closed for so long is because of all the reports we sent to Disney so quickly. They want to make sure that they can filter out as many bugs as possible in a single maintenance, so they don't have to repeatedly stop the servers, fix the glitch, and reopen them over, and over, and over. And before anybody says, "Well can't they just open it anyway with the glitches?", no, they can't. Test isn't made for playing - it's made for Testing. We shouldn't treat Test as a game as a privilege, and a privilege as it is a responsibility.

The bugs in Open is more than likely Disney's attempt to due a few overhauls of the database to prepare the game for Infamy. Trust me, we may be suffering now, but it wouldn't hold a candle to what we would be dealing with if they released Infamy to an unprepared POTCO.

In the mean time, just be patient, and relax. Go read a book. Watch TV with your family. Listen to the new Lady Gaga single (:D) If you consume yourself with waiting, it'll only feel longer.

^Rofl. Yeah, I got the Curse of the Level Zero!!! Oohhh....

They need to fix it ASAP.....

I also have the curse of the level zero. My game looked just like Davy Fireskull's game. Hopefully, they can fix this soon because I wanted to chat with my friends. The website says this - Caribbean is experiencing some technical difficulties. We are working quickly to resolve these issues.

I logged in and got the Glitch. So I sent in a Bug report. This should speed up the repairs.

Want to know something from Disney
"... We want to really deliver a polished final product that meets and exceeds your expectations for Infamy. However, we are targeting an early March timeframe ... that's about as much info as I can divulge at the moment."

So infamy is not late or early. So far everything is on schedule. The only problem is that they got a LOT of bugs reported when it first came to test that its gonna take a while.

Now they closed the game again because there were some bugs regarding loot, leveling, inventory, etc. The same glitches happened a while ago also.

Guys, I think they are having maintenance because there was a big wipeout of notoriety levels of pirates when I logged on tonight! Everybody was lvl zero! I had the same problem too. I'm sorry, but I don't think they're adding Infamy. It's just to fix this whole glitch that people are experiencing.

you know what would be a true epic fail if disney lost everyones info and everyone had to start over, gaurentee nearly everyone would leave

I got on just now. My lvl glitch was fixed, but my emotes wouldn't work and I asked other people around if they could do emotes too. Then I got disconnected when I tried logging on again I got disconnected and now once again POTCO said ' The Caribbean is experiencing some technical difficulties. We are working quickly to resolve these issues. ' It kind of ticks me off now.

It's getting frustrating because ever since they did the "site Maintence" a few days ago the game has been horrible. Very glitchy, delayed enemy health depletion...server connections lost...ugh

It crashed last friday night too. Could it be the fact that they cut out a majority of servers and the remaining servers can't handle the high traffic? Makes sense since Friday nights are the busiest. It's getting rediculous.

Pirates is back up. I'm checking for any more problems now.

Heh. Nevermind. Down again. I wasn't able to use emotes, after trying the second time, I got disconnected.

Logged on for a bit, and the only server was Kokojillo. A few guildmates and I only lasted online for a few minutes before the district on Kokojillo shut down.

currently it is 8:40 EST and all is normal. all the servers are normal. the servers that were deleted still havent come back

You are able to log on and play but I am not sure it is normal yet. In an hour of play I have seen just 2 skull chest. That is just how it was yesterday during the morning when you were still able to play. My main fun in the game is looting and at one or two chest an hour it would take a month of play to ever see a famed item and legendary would be out of the question.

Maybe not so normal. I can't sell potions, or gain any more rep by doing them (not maxed by any means).

And now the lvl0 issues are starting again.

Yup, 08:44 Am Central time and I'm still a lvl zero with no weapons, friend list, ships, no inventory at all.... the list goes on and on. I will wait and try again later.....- keeps fingers crossed -

Send in a Bug Report mates, that would help them a little, eh?

Brother logged in something about 7am Pacific here, and he was back to the way he was when he first logged on yesterday. Same clothes, same beard (he had a long white beard as a joke), same everything. And still level 0. Whatever they did in that reset did not fix the level 0 bug. Dang... this is a really serious bug.

Wow.... I just got on this morning. I wasn't a lvl zero anymore, but I still saw lvl zero people and omg I didn't have my Valentine's Day cloths anymore and all the info that I did the last time I got on was ERASED! I also checked if I had to redo the Valentine's Day Quest and it said I did. Then I went to sink some ships and it said I got rep, but it wasn't added to my rep bar! Now I logged off and came back on and I am experiencing the lvl zero curse. I'm a word right now that I cannot say in the chat -_-

Got a Full Moon Blunderbuss on RC this morning after a few hours of playing... then BLAMO!!!

COULD NOT ADD TO MY INVENTORY!!! BAH!!!

Makes you sick, but what can you do?!? Disney won't make it better... :(

I sent in a report of all the know bugs, (No Rep, Level Zero, and No Loot), a few minutes later they closed for more maintenane. Hopefuly this time they will fix them.

So now there disconnecting everyone and now we have an entire boring saturday on our hands :sadmh9::sadmh9:

Be Patient Everyone! This is a NASTY bug and will take time to squash.

Sometimes, stuff is out of their control. They didn't know it was gonna happen. Seriously, chill out and be patient. Do something else to pass the time, and it will go buy quicker.

At least test is open.... ;)

If you did any leveling last night - might want to check your pirate. Most likely you will have to redo it. I believe they had to push the database back a day ( restore )
