Cave of Lost Souls: Lore - December 30, 2010
 

Foulberto was a very short tempered crew member aboard El Patron's Ship. When they ran aground on Raven's Cove, El Patron's crew mutinied with Foulberto Foulbertoleading the violent revolt. During the mutiny, Foulberto was able to escape through a small tunnel with a few of his strongest men and a large cache of weapons, mostly throwing knives, in tow.

El Patron was not about to let the leader of this mutiny escape so easily and with such a large stash of Rare and Legendary weapons at that! El Patorn swiftly ordered that the tunnel entrance be sealed and personally cursed Foulberto and his mutineers to remain inside forever, trapped in the afterlife.

Like many things in the Caribbean, men with a vengeance never forget. Foulberto returned in spirit form fueled by rage against El Patron and any mortal he perceives to be allied with his rival.

In an effort to break out of the cave, Foulberto consumed the souls of other crewmembers trapped in the mine but alas the curse placed on him was too strong. The only result of his violent outburst was to knock down a couple walls thus exposing the new cave to outsiders. His entrapment only serves to feed his anger and ultimately has made him into the red-eyed, dark spirit you see today.

Foulberto knows his strengths are unrivaled. however, being bound for eternity to remain within the walls of this cave, he can do nothing more but lure passers-by inside and smash the souls of those weaker than him. He has since been dubbed, "Foulberto Smasho" and has quickly earned a spot as one of the most feared adversaries in the Caribbean. Are you willing to step up to the challenge?

Back story or - How To Make a Last Minute Addition seem Like Part of the Plan.

For a minute there I though Dog wrote it

I don't care for these stories Disney comes up with, since to me Foulberto is just another boss who drops good stuff, but if it pleases the fans, more power to them. ;)

Now that I think of it, couldn't they have gotten a better quote from him... like:

"I am mightier than Jolly Roger himself!"

or

"Hey! I have Silver Freeze! Come let me kill you several hundred times until you cry, and then I can give you it!"

I sent a comment saying that I am stronger than him. It's not a lie, because I actually did beat him alone.

When ye say alone, ye mean just Smasho and you right? If that is the case I say I will believe it when I see it. Post the video fro review.

Now if ye mean ye were the only one fighting him, but ye had a healer or two I could believe that. I my self have beat him with two healers, and just me hacking and slashing away at him.

But alone............... Show the video.

If he has been stuck there, how could he have know about Jolly Roger?

Rannulf, I did not take a video, and it would be very hard to duplicate. I did not have any healers, and I did post a picture in the PNC photo album. If I beat him alone I will post a video somewhere. It is towards the end of the PNC album, but is at least a few pages from the most recent.

'Bout time to take a return from me hiatus. First thing to do, go be annihilated by Foulberto. Yay <sarcmark>.

Hiya, can anyone help me please? I go to the fire bats on raven cove but i can't find the door! Other people come up there and obviously go through but i can't find the door. Do you have to do some sort of quest or something? Really unsure!

The door is on the ground mate :laughks2:

I've walked all around the area and still can't find it.
