Now that the new merchant clothes have came out, what is your opinion of them?

Really, I'm very fond of them. There's a few things that I'll keep special in my heart (like my crocodile frock coat), but I like the new styles.

Clothes are clothes, and they don't mean a thing. Now if there were Weapon merchants who sold weapons with different abilities or gave you a power that allowed you to obtain weapons with a certain skill I would think there were a point. But clothing has no stats in this game, and I would rather run around in my underwear than in fancy looking clothing that looks nothing like a pirates wardrobe.

I think running around in you underwear is very weird.

I think clothes show off your power and wealth, so i always dress the best i can.

I just was expecting new, cool clothes with all sorts of colors that came as individual clothes, instead of as an outfit. I was expecting more, and some of the outfits, like the Treasure Hunter outfit, just don't look cool at all.

I always try and dress as snazzy as I can, but then again there just clothes. I mean the best player in the game (which by the way is a tie between, what like 5 thousand people? Read my blog.) could run around in their underwear but still be the best player ever.

Well do remember that they will update it monthly. So expect more.

I really like the clothing, and at least Disney is trying with updating the new clothing outfits and inventing new ones each month for us.

well in with new out with old and clothes do make the man or lady but your skills make u a pirate to be reckoned with.

I'm pretty content with the new clothing update; the rate of release for the clothes is pretty neat too. ;)
No matter how unrealistic they may be, it's always nice to look your best. ^^

I put cloths are cloths because i could not make up my mind. I like them, but i also like the old cloths.

I just wish they would release single clothing instead of new outfits. I honestly thought we were going to get that rare hat that the Peddlers are wearing... And Treasure Hunter? I will never buy it, no matter how much inventory space I could have to store it.

Hey, they are some epic clothes, but I'd like a LOT more inventory space, cuz i aint getting rid of my clothing quest clothes, hehe.

Yawn. They are clothes who really cares anyway, what we are looking for is some actual relevant game content not all the mini-games and other nonsense they have been putting out lately. Put out some real content Disney not just filler.

Sure, their cool.. Just wish they came with more Clothing room..


And what is this talk about "Pirates are about weapons, not clothes"? Pirates were about weapons AND clothes, not just weapons.. Look at Barbossa, you don't see him running around in his P.J's(Thank goodness!).. Pirates love their clothes just as much as their weapons.

After all, "Take what you can, give nothing back". :xwink:

i was hoping for individual cloths, not the sets. But, cloths are cloths. (whispers: I wish they could give me some black outfits.)

Here's the thing. I really like these clothes; the royal commodore is quite nice aye? But I will not be able to buy any more outfits. Want to know why? I'll give you a hint, it starts with 'I', and ends with 'need more inventory space'.

something tells me that this will lead to more inventory space and possibly a captains cabin around summerish

Maybe you could have a bank that you would need to put stuff in when your inventory is full.

i like the new clothes but i miss being able to choose the color of most clothing. first when you could change the color of most of the clothes, it felt like there was more variety. now some aren't even rare and you can only buy them in one color ._. and looting them in different colors is very rare

I really like them! They are different than other clothes in game.
I think eventually they will add more features and allow us to choose colors and such. Cannot wait, :D

Can there be a choice option of - I like them but my pirate has the new body shape and looks terrible! :O

I actually chose the second option...here's why: while they are nice and all, EVERYONE is wearing them which takes away from them being anything unique...take it from another Disney movie, the Incredibles, where the villian Syndrome says the line "I'll sell my inventions so that everyone can be superheroes. Everyone can be super. And when everyone's super...no one will be..."

I believe it's far better to have individual "rarer" clothes...stuff that we can mix and match, instead of everyone dressed the same...

And nothing for nothing, but while the pirates in the movies were all dressed up and all, most real life pirates wore whatever rags/clothes they could scrounge up...only a few well known Pirates were really ever dressed fashionably...I'd rather see more quests to get unique outfits like we did for Barbossa's clothes...

they just should of have added random new clothes like black felt hats kinda like the admirals hat. They should also add powdered wigs necklases eye patches etc. I also think they should have the ships sail into harbor ahhh!!!! that would be the best

I love the new clothes. However, I think that if you wear all of the pieces together, it looks like you are trying too hard to be fancy. I like to mix and match pieces from different collections. It makes you look more Piraty. "Take what you can, give nothing back." taking what you can get, and wearing it, IMO, makes you look a little more geared-towards this game.

I rather love the new clothes. I mean as everyone else said, its good to look your best when fighting and show off your wealth, However I would really like some new clothing space, because I still have the clothes that I have earned from past holiday events or from quests. I don't plan on selling those clothes because of their rarity.
