Pirates must always be aware of their surroundings as you never know when trouble will strike ... so here is a scavenger hunt meant to test yer knowledge of the islands, its inhabitants and the many mysteries that lie in the Caribbean.

Below is a list of questions, puzzles and Pirates Online trivia that is sure to provide a challenge for all but the saltiest of old Pirates. Answer the mysteries below and post your reply on the message board. Be sure to include your exact Pirate name, Notoriety Level and Guild Name to ensure you get proper credit.

So ... how well do you know Pirates, Pirate?

1. We all know about the dog on Outcast Isle, but do you know where else our canine friend appears in game?

2. In Barbossa's Grotto, who is portrayed on the framed painting sticking out of Barbossa's treasure?

3. What happens on Port Royal if Jolly Roger wins an Invasion there?

4. In the secret storage room on Rumrunner's Isle, how many barrels are currently stored there?

5. Big Phil loves feeding his chickens. How many chickens does Big Phil have?

6. Sean Tones is a musician in the Royal Anchor Tavern on Port Royal who can play many requested songs. What is the fifth song on his music list?

7. Who leads the Marceline Guild?

8. Captain Job, in the Royal Anchor Tavern on Port Royal has a special distinction that sets him apart from all other Caribbean inhabitants. What is it?

9. What is the difference between repairing ships on land and repairing at sea?

10. We've gone to Doc Grog on Tortuga for some help, but can you identify who Doc's patient is on his backroom operating table?

I already answered all of these questions and posted my answers, lol. Question 4 was the only one I had trouble with. 0_o

I need to log on but I don't get to log on till tomorrow morning. Just gotta figure out the chickens and also the barrels in Rumrunners.

If we don't say the same answers then we can't get the questions right, well the questions that you got right anyways....

Oh yeah, I made the list!

I answered the questions yesterday, the first 5 answers were already up.

As far as I know I got them all right except #8, forgot about the Extreme Home Makeover Edition, remember seeing it before on the games website.

I myself counted the barrels in the storage room many times, i'd say at least 10 times, lol.

I counted 28 in the room ( plus 5 under the stairs ), for a total of 33 barrels. Once I counted 34 but every other time I got 33. (didn't notice the 5 under the stairs at first)

Actually surprised I made it, and then Disney goes along and puts my post up there. Makes a pirate blush.

And I hope they put up another post mentioning all those people who managed to get every single question right. Takes a savvy pirate to know all of those hidden tid bits!

Go to the directory & look at the GM of the marceline, its captain walter & hes not dead. they r adding the GM transfer thing to make hench the GM but the leader is walter he made it id ( i dont for short) know about you guys that said that Hench was the leader but Walter has ALWAYS & always will be their leader. beside walters gonna have to come online to GM transfer &even on a quiet server its gonna cause comotion so ya

Mate, he's officially the GM. After Captain Walter passed away, Hench became the leader.

The directory is like let's see..... 4-5 months out of date? Probably longer at least. Besides, you don't have to be GM to be leader, you can be any person in any rank but be a leader to those around you.

Is this contest still going? If so, what questions are left?

Too bad the new guys don't even know their own game. Go re-verify these yourself before they remove two barrels (rather than admit their mistake and apologize.)

not realy mak your pirate wear a certain aht then check it, they will wear the hat then take off the hat & check it, ist without a hat & they would update but they would have to do it every 5 seconds because people keep beating records. i think that disney will close pirates for a bit to update the directory

Only clothing is updated, anything else on the directory doesn't update, like your weapon levels, what guild you're in, rank, etc.
