Isla Perdida Diamond- Help!
 

I am on a quest that is telling me to go to Isla perdida and find a treasure chest. It also says that I will find it "deep in the jungle, among the undead....only there aren't any undead on isla perdida there are only wasps there. And the only dig spot I found was not correct. I have tried it three times.

Anyone else have this quest yet? Any tips?

(this is part of a quest for Nil Offrill, to pay back his debts. the diamond needs to be returned to Andrew Bowdash on Tortuga.)

Don't go alone. It's very hard to find and the witchdoctors keep killing you.

There is only wasp now.

This is something I posted on another thread for beta 2. I don't know if it's the same for open.


Enter Queens Nest, go past Scary Mary
Go left around the big rock, and straight through the river
You'll go past 2 big trees on your right.
Turn right after the 2nd big tree (there will be a big rock on your left)
Head towards the bush, and turn right
The dig spot should be right there in front of the tree. There is a wasp sitting there also

I had ssame problem it is there trust me. I will try and explain best i can. I hope it helps some. Ok say u are coming from the enter where scary mary is. It is on the left habd side almost all the way over. Between a few trees. About half way up across from the top of pond that is there sorta. Again i hope it helps.

UPDATE: I did indeed find the chest! Thank you for your tips.

Something seems to be wrong with this quest for me.

I know where the dig spot is, however when I dig it up it does not say "Searching for diamond" or whatever it says when your in the correct area for a quest.

Instead it just keeps saying the standard line for a dug up chest when it doesn't have to do with anything your working on.

I can't find any other place to dig on the whole island, and Queens nest sure doesn't match the text for the quest "Amongst the Undead."

Anyone do this recently?

Yes I've taken several people there recently on open and showed them where the dig spot is. It's still in the same place as in beta. During beta, it was filled with the undead, with some wasps. Apparently towards the end of beta, it was switched to wasps.

It's not the dig spot by the waterfall.

Found it finally! Thank ye all for your tips. My tip is that the dig spot is to the right of 2 wasp nest things (a space between them with a wasp there) and there is a little bush to the right of there and a little more to the right is the dig spot. This area is where you can run in the direction of right next to that big rock that pirate rose mentioned would be on your left. Its next to terror wasps also so watch out.

I can't quite figure out which side of the river I'm supposed to be on. Has anyone got a screen shot of where the dig spot is?

The opposite side of the river from scary mary.

A map would be very helpful. But each island would need separate maps.

bowdash told me to get hid diamond from a chest on isle perdida and there isnt any treasure there! where is it?:degen:

From the entrance with Scary Mary, you'll have to cross the river an the far right, and just stay to the right until there's a giant rock on your left, and a few nests in a small area behind the trees to your right. The dig spot is in front of one of the trees.
Hope that wasn't too confusing.
But be prepared to fight off some wasps.

I used the screenshot and tips and can't even find a dig spot. Anybody have more screenshots or even more tips for a slow pirate like mine?

The screenshot is exactly where the dig spot is. I did the task just about 45 minutes ago. I found about 3 dig spots and none of them worked. So I asked a friend to show me where it was... she pointed it out and I dug and it wasn't there. Turned it the dig spot was bugged, because I switched to another ocean and dug in the same spot and got it.

Hope ya get it.

I finally got the stupid thing this morning. I switched to a quieter world and I found only 1 dig spot further to the right of the screenshot, near a nest. It still took me forever to find it. Way too much work for 100 notoriety, in my opinion.

This is the location of the Dig Spot for me.

Go back into the trees of the other picture and there is a hive back there.

Tips to finding diamond: Enter Queen's Nest, you will see Scary Mary. Keep walking until you reach a river. With your back to Scary Mary, walk forward. To your right, there will be numerous trees with a lot of wasps. Walk straight into the the three trees. In between the first and second tree, there will be a bush with two wasp nests right next to it (As shown in the last screenshot). Right in front of the bush will be the dig spot.

Found the Diamond
 

I was having a lot of trouble finding the Diamond.
I read thru the forum got good hints.
felt like I needed to add to this
Here is a shot of the bush
i was able to get the diamond by my self. at level 16 and was not hard
just take your time and maybe have some tonic on hand

I have once again come around to this quest on pirate number two, so glad the thread was near the top, because as usual, I forgot where I had to go :) Now if that Dire Wasp would just leave me alone so i could dig......grrrr...... :)

If you're coming from the other entrance (without Scary Mary)...

Run straight through and approach a big rock in the center
Go around it to your left
You will see another smaller rock on your left--turn towards it
The green circle is "guarded" by a wasp.
It's in front of the green bushes.

Ive done that, I had to search the place about 5 times. youll get it though I did

I found it today right there at the waterfall, was very easy to dig up only one wasp in the area.

I believe that is where Scary Mary's Treasure/Belongings are buried.

Bowdash's diamond is at a dig spot somewhat hidden and can take awhile to locate if you dont know where. (unless those sneaky developers changed it)

What a pain to find!

I found it in the same place as the last two screenshots. Once I crossed the river, I went to the right, going all the way to the other side of the jungle where you will find lots of nests, and trees. Just keep going until you go to the corner, and you'll recognize the spot in the screenshots.

on the scary mary quest it says i have to find a dig spot by the waterfall, does anyone know exactly where that is? i see the waterfall but, not a dig spot.

Thanks that picture was very helpful. I was always searching the middle in each of the two clusters to the left and right. I probably hastily passed by the area so many times worrying about those level 20 wasps

Just found this one today. . . . if you still need it, it's on the trail leading up the side of the waterfall area near the rock/mtn side of it.

its difficult for me. Im level 17 but i can't seem to defeat the wasps 0_0 but thanks for the tip :)

crude by functional map. I only went here once, so sorry for any inaccuracies.

I didn't actually have to fight any wasps. I went around the rock from left>top>right and followed wasps as they were going the other direction.

Thank you all for the help. I seemed to have gone over that point a couple times without realizing I was walking over a dig spot. It was exactly where you all said it was. In that little "alley" near the 2 big hives. Thanks again.
