Who else is staying on the Test Server?
 

I can't sign up for the full game, and I kinda hate to give up my level 19 status and start over again anyway.
Who else is staying on the test server?
I'm Meg Darkcasle in the game.

I'll be staying on the test server too. My budget won't allow me to pay for Pirates at this time.

Test is for me!!!!
 

Both me and My wife will be stayin on Test. We both have paid accounts but prefer Test over Open. We also have Test accounts on Toontown and never play on open.

So look for Darkrage and Lisa Wildbones to be stayin on test....

I plan on staying on test unless it gets too empty to get some help with stuff.

Yeah, that's why I'm asking. It's getting hard to get through some of the more menacing villains without lots of help.
I'm glad to see some people are still playing on test. I hope more will drop in too. I realize they are trying to get their new pirates up to the higher levels, but hey guys, we need you!

I will probably play on both server for a while. Probably on the test servers more though.

As you have mentioned I think many people will want to start playing to get there new pirates to higher levels.

I'll be going back to test after I get my open pirate worked up, AND if they fix my test character who is still bugged and can't complete tasks or get new ones. I have two lower ones on test to play too, but I'd like to get the open one higher before I work secondaries.

I was wondering if those of us on the test server could play on one ocean and get the players all on that one.
I suppose we could choose one at random and all go there or, if when we enter, one is ideal we go there?

How do you play on the test server? When I open pirates, I don't see where the option would be and my beta pirate has disappeared.

You have to download the Beta Server (I can give u a link if you want) and then you can play it on there. And my Beta pirate was deleated to even on the TEST server where it wasn't but still..

A link would be great. I didn't realize I'd have to do that much work to preserve playing on my beta pirate.

Just download it and you can just log in and play with your normal Beta account. But, you might still have your character or you might not, cuz mine got deleated so...


And yes they said that you could play as your beta character in the TEST server but it would not be carried over to the real game but my character just got plain deleated even on the test server.

Yes playing on the test server is free and you should have unlimited access (just like you paying:laughks2:)

I will be playing test now and then. I'm going to e-mail the crew and ask if my pirate can be kept if I pay for Live every other month. I think it will be fun to keep my Live player at the same point as my Test player so I can practice the quests on test and do them in live. I also really want to know what happens after 'The List' quest is over for my Story Chapter!

My pirate is intact on the test server. At least she was last night.

I think they made it crash a lot to discourage everyone staying on the test server. But I perservere. The limited access is just too horrible and taunting with all the locks on it. Ugh.

No. You have to start all over again on open.

I'm going to go on the open one not the test here's why:

I get on the test everyday for 20 minutes, and none of my friends are on.

I want to find my guild members but they aren't coming on the test, and I can't find them in the other place. We had a meeting place in the game, but it didn't work because we picked a place and world, but the world isn't there.

I want to get my weapons sooner, to work on them sooner. Voodoo is now open to you at Notoriety level 4.

More friends to find, I like my old ones too, if I see them, I'll ask them with no problem, but it won't be easy lol.

I am wondering if Disney will eventually follow the ToonTown model and suspend accounts of people on test that do not play on open. They may not have purged beta since the game is not really ready for prime time yet (More bugs in open than on test it seems). Purging test would also bring that community play down to almost nothing.

Right now I am working my character on open and have hit level 21. Like many others here my friends are on open. I do pop into test though and if you see me just shout out for help. The test name is Jeremiah O'Ginty.

I started my character on the Open server, but Basic access sucks! After playing with everything available on Test, there's no way I can play on Open with basically everything locked. I'm staying on Test for sure.

I might now actually be going back to the beta testing because:

1) They test new things there first

2) I miss my notoriety, it takes forever to get it back lol

The beta server is the one that you were playing before the game opened. In an e-mail, you had the choice to download both of them. Right click on the icon of which you play from, and look at its properties. You can then see whether it is test or full game.

Personally, I'll be going on the test server again right after I've got my levels up on the full one. If I decide to stay on the full one, I'll upgrade.

I am on test after beta and I am actually submitting bug reports. I don't feel right playing without testing.

Yeah, after two days of lag on open, little sister Bess can sit in jail while big sister Bettie goes after that voodoo staff, not to mention all the cool grenades and stuff.

Not surprising that a lot of you are already on my friends list (thank each and every one for all the help) and also probably not surprising that we have been throwing pies together to get a certain guy over a cliff for years now. (years? yes, years)

I'll stay on test (I'll play on open from time to time, though).

It'd be great if they would accept my name, though (I suppose declining my name wouldn't be too bad either, as long as I can pick a new name). I'd rather not be Buccaneer forever ;D

I've noticed that open seems harder too. It's taking me much longer to get my notoriety up.
