PNC Guild Quest- Legend of the Blood Skull Casque Official Thread
http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/u...-44-39-2-1.jpg http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/u...22-13-51-3.jpg http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/u...22-04-46-3.jpg In October of 2009, an idea was formulated. An idea which sought to bring the game to the fullest extent - as made by the player himself. To entertain in such a way that each and every turn would hold it's very own surprise, presenting challenges, twists, and turns unlike anything ever attempted. Many pirates have walked through the pages of some of most captivating journies of all time - and these journies, have known to become called the almighty Partners N Crime Guild Quest. The first story began in to date previously mentioned - what was meant to be an experiment, grew in to something much better than that. Pirates were sent on an adventure to aid Captain Delmaria Darkskull in finding his long lost father, and restoring peace to the Caribbean - but this, my friends, was not in easy reach. Those who participated were rudely awakened by arguably some of the toughest tasks to take place in the Caribbean. By the end, there was only thing they could say - they wanted more. And so, they recieved it. In July 2010, the next Guild Quest was revealed - only much greater than the last. The Guild Quest II, aquiring the name "The Story of a Prince," had been shaped in such a way it expanded not only to the limits of what the Caribbean itself was capable of, but beyond that. Through a series of interactive and mind-boggling challenges, a huge group of pirates were left to aid Captain Lawrence Prince in solving his past - and who was really behind the events that had shaped the Caribbean. Still, with the folding of the quest, the need for another was only greater. Today, this shall be satisfied. The bar has been raised once more. For months, I, along with insight from outsider helps, most notably the infamous Buck Bankok, have been crafting the next installment of the PNC Guild Quest Saga. And now, for the first time, I present to you all... The Partners N Crime Guild Quest - Chapter III http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/u...gm/BSC-1-1.jpg The Legend of the Blood Skull Casque Winds are blowing through the Caribbean - both of change, and of times of old. As the free world around us morphes in to further stages each and every day, we watch as old friends.. and enemies... return to us. The question is, however - is that necessarily a good thing? Piracy has never been at the point as it has now. Freebooters from across the world have come to submerse themselves in the culture of the Caribbean - some to have it prosper, and others, to have themselves prosper. And with the recent rumors of the Blood Skull Treasures resurfacing after all of these years, has only attracted more commotion. But why have these treasures returned? Are they simply rumors? Has the rising of a new island brought about a curse? We cannot simply ask what has brought them back... but who.. Through the course of this quest, pirates will not only be pitted against the forces of evil, but for the first time, against each other. After all, friends can be unlimited - but plunder can only stretch so far, aye? The quest will work with a beginning overall prize of 100,000 gold. Whenever a mission is failed, 1,000 gold is subtracted. Whenever a quest is completed, 500 gold is added. In some cases, bonus missions will be held, in which the gold may either go in to the grand prize, or directly to a specific pirate. How the grand prize will be decided... well, time can only tell! Like last time, only those pirates within the guild may participate. However, this is exactly what this means! From now on, you can only use pirates that are in the guild! Also, we will no longer hold the progress of a quest, if you are unprepared. Last time, we would often wait in between tasks for people to get ready. This is no more. Ready or not, the mission will go on! (Which means you should get ready BEFORE we start!) The Quest will officially kick off sometime in the near future - I'm not going to give ye a specific date, because that ruins the surprise, now doesn't it? Good luck pirates!.... Yer gonna need it.... |
one word
SWEETNESS |
It seems interesting, but as I have never been to a guild quest and I don't have the time for it I shall not be participating.
|
Ohhhhh I have been waiting for this!!
I am excited - whoo hooo !! :dancetl6: |
Prologue
The stiff wind flew briskly through the crisp Caribbean air. It was a cool night, the moon high at it's stern position in the sky, showering a blissful light throughout the seas many corners. The Captain's words echoed through your head as you and your fellow crewmen creep up the stone dock, wet from the small fog that passes through the world before you. "Do not fail me, mates," he had urged confidently within the hull of the deck only a few hours before. "It's about time we set things straight." You sat behind a large stack of crates, the great fortress towering over your farther view. The waves silently pushed against the concrete pillars beneath you, at some points throwing small droplets of water over the side of the deck, and on to your face. The crew forms a small circle, hidden behind the packages, with Delpadros keeping his back to the cargoes before you. "Alright mates, you all know the plan. We'll run through it again, though....." Meanwhile, in the north, at the savage pirated port of Tortuga, raves of freebooters dance, mingle, and shove through the bay of the island, hugged tightly on all sides by rambleshacked shops, a tavern, a shipwright, and a slender strip of beach, that slowly descends in to the waters below. It boasted a dock, carring goods from through the New World. And on to that dock, stepped a woman. Her fiery red hair flew in strands through the breeze, hidden under her wide, brimmed, feathered hat. She was dressed in lavished and decorative clothing, like as though she were royalty among the plunderers and pillagers alike. And to that, she indeed was. She glazed her eyes over the place, and gave a slight scoff. "This should be perfect..." she smiled deviously with her seductively beautiful face. She turned off to her crew, and shouted. "Unload the things, mates! We've found our new home...." Back to the west, where a pirate captain sat stoicly in his chair. His rough hands held up his dark, bearded face, hiding underneath the savage hair and jewelry a calm, handsome Englishman, tainted by fate and disaster. He stood up in the greatly cluttered cabin, enchanted with globes, heavy furniture, silks, and various treasures alike, and walked over the wall of windows that looked out the stern of the War Frigate. Through the light mist, he stared from afar at the Naval island where his crew was, waiting to see them pounce. He had no doubt in them - but he all doubt within himself. And to the east, we find the last of the trinity. He stood atop a colossoly high cliff, poking out of a large wall on the fresh island, looking out over the rest of the Caribbean from some hundreds of feet above the rough, clashing waters below, as they churned through the rocks and rubble that scattered beneath them. The ghostly figure stood proudly over the world he had left behind so long ago. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist, prepared to reclaim what was rightfully his. This, was the face of evil. It is but only a few months after the Caibbean witnessed one of it's most crucial moments - and much has changed. Tension, fear, and rumors swirl through these waters. It is a grave time, where sides must be taken, and where bonds must me made... and destroyed. Objective: At least FIVE members must approach me on or after Sunday, October 17th, to begin the Guild Quest III. |
Fine Del, I posted, this looks so exciting!

Mission 10
Mission 10 - The Crew
The following is a list of crew members that need to be gathered, before Leanne let's ye dogs join her: Andrew Bowdash - The self proclaimed "King of Tortuga," Bowdash is one of Leanne's many ex's from across the known world. Because Leanne is considered the "Pirate Queen of the West," Bowdash is caught in the dellusion that he himself should be seen as pirate royalty. Bowdash may not be much of a fight, but he's a pretty good map reader and navigator, which is why Leanne is (reluctantly) searching for his help. Ferrano - Brought to the Caribbean after being liberated by Leanne from an Italian prison many years ago, Ferrano has dedicated himself to perfecting every fine detail and aspect of the almighty blade. So much so, they've become an uncontrolable obsession of his.... making him an excellent swordsman to have aboard. Black Mack - A cheater and a swindler, Mack spends nearly every awaking minute hustling poor mates in the taverns throughout the Caribbean, often getting himself in to quite a bit of trouble. Still, Leanne likes Mack for his keen way to weasel out of any situation, and wants him to join her crew. Pauper Pedro - Stuck on Padres since birth, Pedro has never set foot of the volcanic island. Aside from keeping his tavern at it's best, he spends his free time sitting out in front of the Ratskellar, watching ships come in to and leave the busy port, wanting to be on one. And with Leanne looking for crewmen.. it's an offer he might not refuse. Macamo - "Mac" was drawn to Cuba since he was a fine young man, in search of expanding his mystical voodoo powers - and has hated the place ever since. He longs to put his powers to use, aside from keeping them in a jar as he hands out potion after potion to wandering pirates. The Guild must choose THREE crew mates to recruit. Whoever you choose to join Leanne's crew, it will greatly affect the quest in later stages! Choose wisely! DO NOT BEGIN THIS TASK UNTIL I AM ONLINE! Each crew member will have a specific challenge for them, which requires me to be online. |
I want pauper pedro in..... i feel his pity... :D
and i want mac due to his AoE skills (AoE= Area of effect) and i want fernardo.... He seems crazy... :) But i also want mack..... he seems to be grenade crazy.... But i also want bow dash.... he seems good with the ship.... T-T SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM! T.T |
Tasks for the Crew are done Del. Will got all the Scorpions ( ....scorpions. ugh.... ), I, as Charles, got the 3 straight hands of poker at the Royal Anchor (special thanks to Josie Mcreedy for not noticing my cheating), and you, of course, got the rare sword. We await the next task mate. ;)
|
Sorry for not being online much for this, crazy week already.
|
We have captured the elusive fish! PNC is prepared for Leanne's next task!
|
The map pieces can only be found through riddles, each leading to the person you think has it. When you think you figure out where the piece is, go there, and have me Teleport.
Map Piece #1: From a gypsies perch, Out across the waves, She stands by the edge, Fixing her gaze. She looks at an island, not too far, on a middle pillar, Of her jail. Map Piece #2: A man of mallar, Holds the next piece, In his tight, bony fist..... er, fiest. He is good with cannons, Shooting only in moderation, Oh, how his shots persist. |
I'm horrible at riddles. Just gonna back up and let everyone else solve 'em. xD

Mission 22 ~ Of Two Nations
The pirates burst in to the Rowdy Rooster, overjoyed at their victory over the forces of Jolly Roger. Dozens of men and women crowd the bar, dancing, singing, laughing, and cheering, as they celebrate yet another joyous day in the Caribbean. The lights of the usually gloom bar are lit at full blaze, bringing a happy, cheery mood to the entire room, as you, Lawrence, and the rest of the crew find a table to sit at. Lawrence pulls up a chair and plops down on to it, flinging his ostrich hat on to the table as you sit alongside your mates. He smiles as he leans back in his chair, propping his feet up on to the wooden table. "Seems like you all sharpened up your skills was I was on my little vacation - and I'm hoping that's a good thing!" You laugh with everybody else, as one of th crew ushers over a round. The crew buzzes for a while, but you sit there in silence, pondering something heavily. You noticed something... different?, about the skeletons that invaded the shores. They were wearing some rustic, fancy-plated armor, with the rough outlinings of beautiful inscriptions etched in to every single body shield. They acted not like the usual skeletons, ragged, unorganized, and blood-thirsty - they seemed to move in unison, like an army, almost. At each swing, another blocked; at each fall, another went to take it's place. But the most eerie thing, was what they were "saying." Each of them chanted a random battle cry of slurs and slips, flicks and slings. It was though they were trying to push something out, but you couldn't put your finger on it. It was gibberish to you, something that often would just pass your mind - but this, no, it was strange... "Alright mates, I say we can go enjoy ourselves a night out on the town, aye?" Lawrence kicks back his chair, rudely ramming itself in to the legs of a passing-by pirate, who topples over on to the floor. Lawrence quickly trots out of the bar, paying no attention - and you do the same. Your the last of the crew to leave the entrance of the noisy bar in to the quiet moonlight. All that sounds is the background noise that comes from the tavern's open door, and the light curling of the waves on to the nearby beach. You let the crew reach out of your gaze, taking a minute to take in the beauty of the night. Your peace is rudely interupted, however, when you are tugged by the wrist violently aroud the corner of the bar, in to a small crevice in between the side of the Rooster and the town walls, cut off your only entrance by, of all people, Leanne O'Malley. You turn to face her in disgust, your back against a crate that sits behind you. "What do you want?" You hiss. She growls and grips both of you arms affirmingly. "You aren't the only one who heard those noises, my friend." She whispers as you dazingly push her off you. "How did you...?" Before you can finish the sentence, she cups a hand over your mouth, shushing you as she looks over her shoulder to check if anybody is listening. "Look. I know I haven't been the best of friends, but business is business, aye?" Unmoved, she continues to persuade you. "The chanting you heard was, what I believe, having to relate to something called the Blood Skull Cask - I'm not sure what it is, really, but you can help me find out." "Cask? I thought it was the Blood Skull Casque?" "Bleck, that's what Delmaria and them want you to think. Look, help me out, and I promise you, it'll be worth your while." She winks as she turns away from you, off in to the light mist of the night. Objective: You are now temporarily going to be broken up in to teams. There will be two teams, or "crews" - one will be Lawrence's, and the other, Leanne's. The next few tasks of the quest will involve you all being pited against the other team, in a race to reach yourself closer to the Blood Skull Treasures. IF YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NEXT FEW TASKS OF THE QUEST, YOU MUST POST BELOW THAT YOU WANT TO JOIN IN. Upon posting, you will be ASSIGNED a crew, to make everything even. So, no, you can't choose ;) REGISTERING FOR A TEAM WILL END AT NOON PACIFIC TIME, THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH, 2010! [The following Team Vs. Team portion of the Quest is to be a race. Each team will be given a task in a story line matter, with the completion of one task leading to another. The first team to complete the last task successfuly will result in each of the team's members recieving a 5,000 gold bonus prize at the completion of the entire Guild Quest.
PLEASE NOTE: Each of the tasks for each team, although equal in number, are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. So, do NOT rely on the other team's information. (The red text is Leanne speaking, the blue is Lawrence.) Mission 22 ~ Of Two Nations (Reprise) Leanne looks over the motely crew in the dead of the night, mist covering the moonlit dock of Port Royal. The waves slowly brush against the bottom of the dock, as the group stands in a small circle, their surroundings nearly blanketed out. "Haha, I knew some of ye dogs had common sense in you. Welcome aboard the crew of Leanne O'Malley, Pirate Queen of the West! Nice ring to it, aye?" Lawrence rubs his hand ferviously over his face as he paces back and forth in front of the massive wooden desk, looking out to the wall of windows at the back of the ship, that shows the glimmering lights of Port Royal. The remaining partners sit in various positions across the Captain's Quarters, drastically unorganized and disshelved, all looking beaten and disappointed. Delmaria stands in the doorway of the Quarters, at the end of a short hallway that separates the private room from the open areas of the ship. "Well...." Lawrence sighs as he turns to face the rest of the crew. "The Blood Skull Cask is a... well.... a CASK, from what I know! But trust me mates, I never be wrong! The gypsys have kept this in their little minds for many a years, they have! It's said to have within the a sacred elixir that can bring the dead to life.... and LIFE TO DEATH!" Leanne shouts almost over-eagerly as she bounces up and down. "The Blood Skull Casque was, from what I've heard, a helmet said to be worn by the leader of the Blood Skull Legion himself, which made him and his massive army of lawless followers nearly invincible in battle. The Navy especially have been trying to get at it for years, secretly, but there's never really been a lead til now. I can assure you, I'm not wrong when I say, that it MUST NOT- "-be claimed by us, my fellow pirates! We will live forever, sailing the seas for all eternity, without the fear of death to loom over us! Can you imagine? Free to do what we want, to take what we desire, to-" "-stop Leanne and those traitors before it's too late! Who knows what they'll be able to do with such a thing!" A lone pirate raises their hand, eager to ask a question. "Yes?" "Well.... how are we going to find it?" Objective: Search the remains of Port Royal after the invasion by the Blood Skulls, to find something or somebody that can help you in your search. |
Leanne's team wins this round :3
|
Yay us! Sorry i wasnt there for the last part..but i was there in spirit! :)
|
when will it be?

Mission 28 ~ Magic Pants!
Leanne glazes her eyes over the stained loads of papers that crunch delicately under her grip. "I knew it was true!" You step forward eagerly, wanting to know what she saw on the lines. "What is it?" "The rumors I heard of they pants... they are true! The pants were worn by Bloodskull on his last trip to Padres, which was forged originally as a colony under his tyrannical grip. While he was here, the town revolted against him and his soldiers, in a last ditch effort to gain their independence. Every day, while riots and outbreaks of violence moved across the island, he was subject to numerous assassination attempts by a few of the rebellers. Often, he would have to change his entire appearence to move from one building to another, without being shot at. On a particular movement, he was outside the Skull's Thunder with a few of his higher Officers, when a lone spiner hiding on a cliff above him on the volcano shot down at him. The bullet pierced his leg, bleeding out wildly. To prevent him from dying, his most loyal soldiers ferried him over to a local gypsy, who was forced in to treating him. Along with healing the wound, she enchanted his pants, allowing him to be able to run distances faster than the fastest dog or horse alike. Unfortunately, his pants were left behind on accident as he left Padres. After his death, it is rumored every night, his pants come to life, and challenge any opposers at the docks to a race. Whoever can beat it in a race.. wins the pants." Objective: Beat the pants in a three lap race around Padres, on the course shown below. ***The large green dot marks the starting point. The green dots mark the path. On the final lap, you will break away following the red dots, up to the Skull's Thunder.*** http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/u...18-16-41-1.jpg |
And the winner is..... GRACE! :3
|
Mission 33 and 34 ~ Taxation Without Representation
Objective: Help Andrew Bowdash collect the taxes from the people of Tortuga, through the game "Territory Wars." How to play: The guild is split in to two teams: Tax Collectors, and Pirates. The game plays out in three rounds: Capture, Negotiation, and then Duel. Capture The goal of the first round is to, essentially, have your team capture resource buildings on the island. Each team will start at the far end of the dock. When the signal is given, the teams must head out, and "capture" buildings by having a teammate enter the building, and shout in crew that it has been captured by their team. (Ex.. "Del: PIRATES HAVE CLAIMED THE KING'S ARM TAVERN!") Once a building is claimed, it cannot be recaptured. ALL buildings that can be entered in Tortuga are subject to capture. Negotiation: The teams will now attempt to trade buildings they may want for the Duel round. Duel: The two teams must now engage in a battle. Each building that team has gained provides its own advantage in battle (Ex. Claiming a gunsmith allows a team to use guns.) |
For you, Lady:

Hey is this an official quest? like can you really race pants, :laughks2: and stuff like that? or do you just pretend?
|
Everything here is real! We sneak past vicious skeletons, ease drop on lethal pirate captains, race against magical pants, kidnap giant turtles, and all the stuff! Unfortunately, the Quest is open to Partners N Crime members only :p
|
WOW that's so cool. is there a way to make one for your own guild?
P.S: is it on your own server, or can on a public one that everyone can go on? |
Uhh, SEAKING... Del put a tongue emote at the end.. that sorta implies he's joking mate. Its not an official quest thats in your journal. Del and some others make up this quest and then have the members do it for fun and glory. And ATM you can't get your own guild server. :P
Shame on you Del for not using sarcmarks! haha, jk lol. Sorry if I hijacked the thread Del, just wanted to clear that up for SEAKING. Carry on! |
lol sorry. didn't see what emote at the end.
|
I can't wait for the next chapter! We just finished following "Captain Del" and being marooned on Devil's Anvil. Then we were taken to the Kingshead safehouse. I wonder what's next...
|
Oh, Jason, don't worry. The entire quest is the chapter, but the quest tasks themselves are just a continuous story line, so it stays nice and flow-able. We should be continuing later today :buds:
|
I had to leave when we were doing it today, can you fill me in on what happens after your talking about hiding the relic pieces behind the waterfall and stuff?
|
Hey del, i was wondering if i could watch u guys do the quest? you could pretend i'm a random drunk guy.

Also, please keep in mind, the quest is strictly PNC, inside and out. As much as I like the idea of people seeing how we run these one-of-a-kind events (don't let anybody bamboozal ya, PNC had the first Guild Quest, and always will have the best ones!) it would just be a distraction to the members, as well as outside involvement. Sorry mate. :buds: |
Thanks, so we end on Rumrunners then, I'll be ready for the next part ;)
|
Yah, Rumrunner's after searching every single other island. Seriously mate, a few frustrated pirates was all you missed, haha.
|
Dont worry Jason, I missed it too. My internet quit and i didnt get it connected again for hours. :\
|
I request the X screenshot Del.

Mission 75 ~ The Inferno
INSTANCE MISSION For hundreds of years, travelers, sailors, and traders have all passed along the legends of foul beasts, monsters, and tyrants that roam the far corners of the world. From the almighty Kraken to the merciless Leviathan, we all have more than likely heard but one of these shivering tales of dark, brutal monsters that wait to feed on our souls. But one question has always remained - where do these beasts come from? The answer, is a grave, dark place that sits on the brink of existence, known as The Inferno. Caught in between the world of the Living, Earth, and of the Dead, the Locker, exists this nether of lost hope. It is here some of the greatest fears and beasts to have spread across this Earth lurk, waiting for it's next victim - and here, is where you must venture. Mission Explaination Your trip in to The Inferno consists of several levels, each marking a new point in your descent. Because of the fact I can't actually create this place for you, it will be carried out in areas of the Caribbean, which will act as our "levels." Outer Ring - The Uncharted Depths (The Hinterseas) - The area of the sea that dances just at the world's end. Pirates must brave the ships that swirl these waters, until they reach the End. First Level - The Aquatic Abyss (Cursed Caverns) - Here is the prepping grounds for the vile monsters that prepare to make their assualt on the world of the living. Pirates must fight there way through from one end to another, without being turned back by the evils that await. Second Level - Burning Descent (Lava Gorge) - A flaming, churning passage that leads off in to the spiked heart of the caverns. Be careful of the lava flows... Third Level - Death's Masscarade (The Catacombs) - The parade grounds of the great bassilica. Here the armies of the damned assemble themselves to serve in the name of all that wishes to tarnish the light of humanity. A gruesome fate awaits any who try to enter... Outer Sanctum - Spiral of Madness (El Patron's Mine) - The gates of the very entrance to The Place itself. Even entering this place allows you to hear the screams of pain of the lost souls within... The Place (Cavern of Lost Souls) - A cold, meaningless cavern that serves nothing but the center workshop of evil. The chill of this place freezes your blood and makes your heart race in fear and anticipation. Welcome to Hell, my friends. |
If you are planning to do The Inferno, but aren't online, be sure to come on soon! We'll be starting in about twenty minutes!
|
Put it together:

|
After a break from the quest, I'd like to inform you all that we will be starting it back up, sometime this Sunday afternoon. Prepare yourself ;)

Mission 90 ~
BOSS BATTLE Baron Bloodskull's return has been a mighty one - the powers enabled by his return from the afterlife have allowed him to use voodoo in the ways many politicians desire so - he has gained the ability to manipulate the minds of the public, the pirates, and even the Governors themselves! In just a matter of days, while you all have fought with all your effort to beat him to the punch, he has become the puppet master of the Caribbean, pulling and swaying the strings each way, watching the innocent people of the Caribbean dance under his grasp. Bloodskull's powers have outreached to all the major islands of the Caribbean; Port Royal, Tortuga, Kingshead, Padres, even the wild islands have fallen to him! All but Cuba, protected by the majestic powers of the priestess Tia Dalma, are his pillars of control - and from here, you will make your stand against injustice. Under the guidance of Tia Dalma, you, Delmaria, Lawrence, and your fellow pirates must rebel against Baron Bloodskull, in a series of battles to free the blindly imprisoned people of the Caribbean. When the Boss Battle begins, pirates will be fairly divided in to two teams, one representing the Libertist Crew of Delmaria Darkskull, and the other representing the Legion of Baron Bloodskull. The Legion will then spread it's crew mates out to "defend" the islands, while the Pirates will designate which player will go where to fight for that island. RULES FOR CREW PLACEMENT:
The Battle details for each island will remain hidden, until the Boss Battle. After the battles have transpired, it will be time to lead your assault against Bloodskull himself! Where and how is still a mystery - but all I can say is, be prepared! |
When will this be? Also can I use Jason for this or am I only allowed to use Joe?
|
Well... i hope that the game updates by then.. o.o
|
Tonight's the night! Get on soon, mates! Let the war begin!
|
And... It is complete!
|
Ha, I wish I did more of this quest when I could; the BB was amazing! Del, looking at the past posts, I bet this took a lot of hard work, but it was well worth it. The whole quest is extremely creative, only something that I'd see you do. :) Wunderbar! Can't wait for summer. :)

http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/u...Casque-1-1.jpg I would like to thank all those pirates that participated in this tremendous project for making it the success I hoped it be! I'm glad to know that the innovation we started will continue to keep the game alive with pirates all over the Caribbean, for years to come! You take a step out on to the deck of the ship, spanning your gaze over the horizon. The burns of the wounds that dot your skin dig down in a sting, you in a good way. It is the pain that is brought with every victory, bittersweet as it is. You lean over the side of the ship, looking out as far as you can see. The glittering waters of the sea are still evermore, but as with every crusade, brings changes. An ancient evil has been quieted once more, condemned to a deep watery grave. He brings with him his last glimpse of a new life, and a new order, which you know crushing before him was for the best. You shiver at the thought of what the Caribbean would have been like with him dangling his power above our grasp. And beyond the horizon, far along the waters, though she is out of your vision, you know she is there. Though a devil in the eyes of the world, to your captain, she was much more than that. He saw in her the hopes and ideals of the past - what it was like to live a good life, and to love. The captain himself stands at the bow of the ship, alone. He watches the sun rise in to the sky with every swaying detail. His thoughts whirl around his mind quickly, and without any ability to collect them. But he likes it that way - the untamed chaos has become a part of his lifestyle, to wjich he couldn't be without. As you walk up next to him, you ask him "Do you think one day we'll finally be free, Captain?" "Not sure." He answers. "We may not live to see the day, I know that. But I am positive that somewhere, someday, the glimmer of hope we've sparked will set it off. But for now, we can't be concerned with such trival things," he turns to you, "we are pirates after all - savvy?" "Rise and shine, mates! A new day, a new beginning! Set sail for Padres Del Fuego! We have a visit to make..." ~~~~~ Also a special thank you to my Co-Writer, Buck Bankok, who gave me the general storyline and focal points of the quest. Couldn't have pulled it off without ya, mate! But wait! There's still the matter of that 150,000 Grand Prize.... Well, I thought about it, and decided to just go ahead, and split it with you all! Every Partner who participated in the Quest is entitled to 6,000 Gold! Thanks mates! See you in the Summer! :smiley-rpg028: |
