I don't know if there are any Harry Potter fans on here, but I just watched the new trailer for Deathly Hallow Pt. 1. I have to say it looks amazing! Can't wait for November 19th.:)

Lol, I know I am thinking about pulling out Deathly Hallows to read again!

Can't wait 'till November for this. I grew up watching Harry Potter. I loved all the books except for the 5th one, but it might of been because it was 870 pages.

I feel so excited, but then I start to feel sad since this is the last movie. :(

cannt wait for Nov to get here... plan on taking the kids to see it when it comes out as well. And yes the trailor does look awesome

I loved the trailer and it seems that they're being pretty loyal to the book.

I agree Samantha, it does seem they are being true to the book! 49 days! lol

What makes you think that they're going according to the book (apart from the fact that the movie was split into 2, giving them enough breathing space for the plot)? They've not done the same with #5 and #6... why would they change suddenly? And also, in the trailer, the final battle between Harry and Voldey occurs in a setting different from the book.

Anyway, I'm pretty excited for the movie... I mean both the movies. I wish Rowling fulfills her promise (ok promise is too strong a word) of creating a sequel series to HP, possibly about Albus Potter. Actually thinking about it, I'd like some hate filled genocidal Muggle general of the U.K or U.S to be the villain. Something like that Colonel from Avatar...

What I mean is the latest trailer had more scenes that were taken from the book, however I do agree with you on the final battle which was in a previous trailer. I do hope that is not the final result in the movie because in the book it was awesome! If they cut out Mrs. Weasley's battle with Bellatrix I am going to be upset, that was a classic scene! Interesting idea for a sequel to the series Midhay.:bookishfj7:

I do not get the very last clip at the end of the trailer (with the wands connected like they were in the graveyard in Goblet) because I'm pretty sure that didn't happen. I LOVE the way everything came together at the end of Hallows, and if they screwed that up...... *angry face* As a side note, I really hope they included the epic Molly Weasley line as she fights Bellatrix. Huge Harry Potter fan. :D

You can find out a lot from the fan sites. I've been following the news stories for months and starting this month we've been getting screenshot and interviews every week.

Julie Walters(Mrs. Weasley) said in an acceptance speech a while back that she had resently killed Helena Bonham-Carter's character Bellatrix Lestrange. So, the scene was shot but that doesn't mean they'll put it in.

I was wondering why they did Priori Incantatem again too, since they no longer have brother/twin wands.

So true Samantha, I find that a lot of scenes that are shown in trailers don't even end up in the movie. This is true for most movies, not just Harry P.:largeskull:

Saw it, too. Apart from some knuckleheads who laughed through the part with Dobby, it was fantastic. Don't know how I'm going to be able to wait a whole year for part two.

You won't have to. Part 2 comes out in July of 2011. But I am not sure if 8 months is really any better than 12.

Love the first part as well, thought they did a fantastic job! Even though it's quite a wait for part 2, I'm so glad they went with two parts. It's they only way they could do the book justice. So excited for the second part!

I liked Conan's HP trailer better.
