Pirates Discover Mystery Island
 

Two reliable Pirates recently overheard the following tale in the Faithful Bride. It's supposedly from the lips of Captain William Squall of the Pirate vessel known as, King's Revenge.

"Me and my crew were out plunderin' a few Navy ships one day when ... BLAM! We runs aground in the shallows of a new island! We ain't never seen it afore -- it's like it appeared out of nowhere! But there it was, lurkin' about like some ghostly villain, covered with fog or smoke, and we could hear the faint sound of somebody howling. Brave we are but ... I admit my crew and me lit outta there as fast as a raven with his tail feathers ablaze! I tell ye this -- whatever it is on that island, it's up to no good. Savvy? My bet would be that Jolly Roger has his wicked hand in this. My advice? Steer clear of that vile place, if you know what's good for ye."

this must mean raven cove will be here soon.

Of course, it's Mossy Moses. It appeared out of nowhere... haha..

I got an E-mail from Pirates the other day, with a code for a sword and news about the double reputation weekend. At the very bottom it had a picture and said something to the effect of "Ravens Cove, coming soon, new story quest." But this is good, I'd expect this to come out before the end of the year, but don't quote me on that if it doesn't :P

I certainly have had my hopes restored somewhat. This could get interesting.

Hopefully it will come next Tuesday to the test game since it sounds like it will need alot of testing :bookishfj7::piratewheelgo2:

We have been seeing and fishing at this island for a few days now and rumors are already around. * We might have to start a Research fleet to uncover the truth of the island.

Keep in mind guys when it comes on test it might stay on there for a WHILE. Got to give it some time because new island= TONS of bugs.

Questions: Can you land on it? Is it just the island but you cant land on it? Are you joking around with us?

EDIT: Just read test release notes. This is awesome. Its what we have been waiting for lads and lasses!

EDIT to my EDIT: Holy Muskets!!! Its so scary!!! Those ghost noises are going to haunt me forever! Im not even kidding!!! Its so freaky!! Holy muskets.... holy muskets.... holy muskets.... :'(

Quick question: I've been reading about this on the Wiki, and I was wondering if anyone lower than a level 30 has been able to get onto Raven's cove?

Yes - Cougar is level 26 and ported there. She got KO few times ( u can view the pics in the other thread ) but with a little help the Fire bats were within her reach.

Rofl, my level 10 went there... those ghosts are not friendly.... how do you kill them if they KO you in one hit?!

You can kill them with cursed blades it seems. they must make you take less damage from ghosts?

There really isn't any island bugs theres just bugs with the quest dialogue in which u have to wait before u hit next but i think the said the fixed it.:degen:

EDIT:yep they fixed it so really i have not found any bugs besides that it a foul proof island and has better qraphics and the old song to the other islands

I see many bugs, there's some unsolid walls, I see the invasion = crash bug as well. I also see bugs with the idols not responding to taking it, and the quest actually resetting for some people.
Plus the server needs to get more stabalized.

I still think SOME of us owe D a huge apology, so heres mine... *Clears throat* .... Ok this is harder than I realized... Disney, I'm sorry for doubting you. Are we friends again? :)
