Now that you've read the disclaimer here is the plot
in Disney Digital 3D(TM). In this action-packed tale of truth, betrayal, youth and demise, Captain Jack Sparrow (Depp) crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penelope Cruz), and he’s not sure if it’s love — or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth.

When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past. Barbossa is confirmed to make a return

I thought the movie was going to have something to do with the "fountain of youth".

Either way, the movie probably isnt going to do to well... the 3rd one had a good ending, and they should keep it that way.

Well, we know for sure that Black Beard isn't going to survive this movie, unless Disney doesn't mind changing historical facts.

Anyways, the movie sounds pretty good so far. I just hope that it's as good as the first, because the second and third seemed way too much about money and special affects than an actual storyline.

For some reason, sequels are all about the money. Sequels can't take risks like they do the first movie, because the first movie you have to "get lucky" almost. Original movies are always better because directors don't really have to worry about money. They have no fan base, and it's not like they have to be limited by people because the people paying for the movie are too worried about not making enough money from it.

I always liked the Black Pearl more than the others. I hope this forth makes a comeback and that it's simply amazing.

i think i read about this fountain of youth in a history book during school.... some people heard indians talking about and tried to find it

Disney left too many cliffhangers, And *SPOILER*

after #4 is released, they're doing a back-to-back filming of FIVE and SIX.
So don't expect it to go away.

-Tentacle-Faced Davy Jones (who wasn't in fact an actual person, but a reference to the bottom of the sea/the pirate's afterlife)
-In the books about Jack's Youth, Jacky claims to have tipped Benjamin Franklin about the key... (xD)
-And just about everything else they've WRITTEN.

Just watched the trailer! Looks pretty good... better than I had expected it to be...

One of my relatives is the Art Director for the movie.... He told me all about the plot long before it had been released to the public that they were even making a POTC 4. It was pretty cool to see that Will, and Elizabeth wouldn't be coming back, and he told me who the main characters were and what the title would be... Yes, be jealous :P
