Ah, my handy sword. Stays with me always, and it is never out of my weapon belt. Im assuming that by cutlass you mean all swords? Well, they are probably the best weapon, because they deal powerful damage, its not too hard to gain rep with them, and they are a pirate's best friend.

Pistols: Good weapons, but they deal little damage, and I hate having to shoot, reload, shoot, reload. Other classes are good, but take a long time to reload. Doesnt mean I hate them, just that I dont have to reload my blade.

Dolls: Hate 'em. Almost only use them for healing. They are weak, cowardly, and require no skill to use.

Daggers: probably my second favorite weapon. I love blades. The dagger is so quick, and the fact that I can break attunements is nice. As well as all those throwing skills....

Grenades: Handy for invasions... nothing else... they can hurt you, they are a pain to level, and I find them... blech.

Staff: I like my staff, I am a Sorcerer, but it I am using it for a long period of time, even I run out of voodoo. However, my staff would be a close third.

If I were to rank all my weapons, from favorite to least favorite, it would go: Sword, Dagger, Staff, Gun, Doll, Grenades.

1- Hands down, Pistols and such.
2- Cutlass
3- Staff

6- Everything else.

My favorite weapon above all is my sword. It presents more of a challenge being a short range weapon and in my opinion it is more of a pirates weapon, and it looks really kewl LOL

Without a doubt the pistol is my favorite weapon.

If I had to rank them it would go pistol, cutlass, dagger, doll, grenade, staff (staff currently last because I don't have the weapon as of yet).

Staff, I love the fact that you can do serious damage to many targets, i love it during invasions and cant wait for the new ones to come out.

That's exactly me, with doll switched with gun. We think alike. :o

Well for me doll is easy like cake walk go to tormenta and you lvl quick.

Blunderbuss for me..... I guess that falls under the pistol category.

my favorite is cutlass then dagger then staff. i think guns and doll require no skill and are coward's weapons i only use a bayonet in invasions when facing jolly. as for grenades i just don't use them.

I'm going to have to agree with many here. Pistols are #1 in my books! Still praying for that Fullmoon Special Repeater!! :(

My trusty cultass has always been and always be my favorite weapon. Never has it failed me in a sticky situation. Besides, using a cutlass is fun :smiley-rpg028:

Gotta go with the cutlass. Simple, but effective, and fun to use. As far as Sword variations go though, Broadsword is me favorite. :dancetl6:

In order:

Cutlass(Like I said, simple but effective)
Pistol(Can't say it's exciting to level, but it's handy and powerful)
Staff(Wither and Flaming Skull are most useful imo. Other attacks are fun to use though)
Doll(Mainly for healing, but Life Drain can be useful when fighting.)
Dagger(This is growing on me, thanks to the new throwing knives/daggers on Test. Still never found Dagger to be very useful. Attunement Break is nice though.)
Grenade(Grenade can actually be very good, but I don't like leveling it, so at the bottom it goes) :sailr:

Changing my answer, these throwing knives starting to be my favorite now.

Have it like...

Sword/Dagger (blades)
Grenade/Gun (gunpowder weapons)
Staff/Doll (voodoo weapons)

Can't say exactly cause its hard.

Grenades because I remember many memories with them :) Particularly they were a pain in my REAR! But I still like them!
