You see, Disney has this terrible addiction to make everything, even the most simplest of things incredibly vague. I went on live chat and asked what time it starts at, and my response was "When things get dark in the caribbean. Spooky things are happening!"

Is it that hard to ask for a time? I have 3 different things to do tonight. The 5 hour Friday Night Cranks, going out to applebees, setting up my house, and this.

I love you Disney. Oh, so much.

As for me and my guild, we're all excited about the Muertos Moon. We keep having fun even if it doesn't come.

This topic is for everyone who is wondering what time the event happens. Its not about how much I hate the Meurtos Moon (I don't.) If anything, it's me being annoyed by the live chat.

And I like pirates online. I don't know where you came to the conclusion that I don't from this topic.

I never said you did. All I was saying is that how you worded it gave me the impression you are annoyed. Plus, all your other threads, similar to this one.

Sounds like you have something better you could be doing, anyways.

I think it's safe to say nothing is happening today (despite being mentioned).

I am annoyed. Annoyed at the live chat and Disney for not providing a time.

My other threads focused on how much I think the potco TEAM fails.

A wise man once said nothing at all. Your quote doesn't match anything i've said in the topic. I have already covered how I enjoy pirates online for its potential. I despise the Potco team for not exploiting that potential. Hating on the potco team doesn't mean I should leave The Game.

I like pirates online. I don't like the potco team for the above mentioned reason, and because they won't provide a coherent time, which i was under the impression was today. It doesn't mean I should leave the game because i'm annoyed at them, end of story.

The day is still not over. Be patient.

I agree that it would be nice to know, at least approximately, when an event is going to happen. As many of us need to do certain things before we are able to sit down and enjoy the game.

I really don't understand why someone would feel the need to tell you that if you don't like the game, don't play it when you obviously enjoy playing it which is WHY you want to know when an event is going to happen...and it's off topic

I'm sure it was very hard for them to say "Oh, the event starts and 6:10!"

I personally like how they didn't provide times. When it finally happens, it catches you off guard, kinda like - well - a curse! Makes it all the more exciting when it comes.

I think what Jack (CM) was saying, is that if you complain about the game to the point where it seems like you pick at every little thing, then it leaves people to question why you even bother to play the game anymore. And to some point, I agree. HOWEVER, I don't believe that he was basing his statement on this thread alone, but taking in to account all your other messes of rants. I also side you with you to a degree, tayseth, how you were correct, that them not providing times was a little silly concerning those people who can't afford to be on for long intervals of time.

I'm not understanding the correlation between being upset with not knowing the times of the event and hating the game.

I like the game, but it erks me, too, that they don't give set times. I just so happen to have to go some where tonight, and I'm probably going to miss the event because Big D decided they'd just throw it in at some random time.

Does that mean I don't like that game? No, it means I'm just a bit frustrated as to why they haven't given set times.

No its not. The TT team is doing an awesome job as far I can tell.

I agree with the OP they should at least give an time frame. That way pirates can plan ahead according to their RL responsibilities. However, I do understand why not give a time. It reduces the possible lag galore and keeps people playing waiting for it to occur.

If they gave a time, it wouldn't really effect the lag. There are plenty of servers and islands that this can occur on. Plus.. those people waiting for it could double if they'd let others know the time.

That causes lag to some... like me.

Well.. it still causes lag. But it's gonna cause lag whether or not they post a time.

I know. It's just more lag. A better scheduled lag.

It's been almost 2 hours since the first one, and I don't think another is coming.

One just happpened.my first one was on Abassa and the Lag was epic :laughks2: one minute I was a skellie the next I was in jail. Got to actually enjoy this one.

Ah, I missed both, but hopefully I'll get another chance at it. I want to be a coward skeleton and take shots at people from behind bushes and buildings.

There were a couple more.

I made the last one, and knocked out a few people before I crashed.(for unknown reasons)

It is happening right now.

I got into one and had to wait for the effects to wear off. I really like to play on them quiet servers.
