[SPOILERS] Raven's Cove, Quest and More!

The recent Email confirmed that this is a story quest!

I've been digging through the files again (the actual code, not just looking at the models) and according so, Raven's Cove is there. It exists as another island, and may replace the mysterious island on TEST. There seems to be a quest along with Skeleton Poker? It also seems to use a new dialog tree system.

Here is the story of the Raven's Cove quest:

Spoiler for Raven's Cove Story:
Jolly Roger has gone too far this time by blocking the rum shipments into all the islands with taverns in order to lure his arch enemy Jack Sparrow into the open. Without rum Jack cannot remain in hiding.
Jack knows that the only way to defeat Jolly Roger is to use one of the infamous, "Cursed Blades of El Patron" on him. They're not only magical, but powerful and will bring Jolly to his knees. Trouble is, rumor has it that they are stowed away on Raven's Cove, a dark place that lily-livered-landlubbers should avoid at all costs.

Dialogs:

Spoiler for Dialogs:

Jack Sparrow: Ahh, I was just talking about you. Well not you in particular but someone much like you. I need help, mate. If ye pirate enough, eh?

Here's the skinny... seems that Jolly Roger has created a situation to draw me out. And it's a bloody catastrophe!

Jolly Roger's instituted a naval blockade - on rum. My sweet, innocent rum! Me and the other blokes 'round here are getting very... Thirsty!!!

You: How can I help?

--> What can I do to help, Captain Sparrow?

You: What's in it for me?

--> If I help, what's in it for me?

Jack Sparrow: Good, good. Here's what we need to defeat Jolly...

...one of the Cursed Blades of El Patron himself. Perhaps you know him, tell... pointy beard... dead?

Only problem is you must go to Raven's Cove to find them. Dreadful place. But that's where they are. Now be off.

Oh I'll make it worth your while for I need me rum, as do all these Pirates.

The only way to defeat Jolly is with one of El Patron's Cursed Blades. And the only place to find them is on...

...Raven's Cove. Dreadful place.
But that's where they are. Now be off.

(Edward Brittle Intro)

Edward Brittle: Ahhh! Be ye alive or be ye dead?
Are ye the ghosts of which I dread?

Why you're no spirit or ghostly diviner?
Neither am I - I'm just a miner!

but I hold the key to the mine you seek
where live the blades so cursed and bleak.

You: Threaten with Gun

---> I'm not afraid of you besides, The Code says nothing about shooting ghosts, eh?

You: Pretend to be ghost

--> You don't scare me 'cause I'm a ghost myself!

You: Run away fast

---> A g-g-g-g-host!? I think I soiled me pants!

Edward Brittle: Very well, brave soul, stay if ye must
but don't cry to me if your mission's a bust.

But a word of warning, ye hearty mate.
Avoid red ghosts or doom be yer fate!

You: What happened here?

--> What happened to this cursed island?

You: How do I get in the mines?

--> How do I get in the mines IF the cursed blades are truly there?

You: Good bye

--> Thanks Mr. Ghosty-crazy-miner-guy but I have to go.

Edward Brittles: There was a battle fierce for El Patron's guns.
The fighting went on from sun to sun.

But when the smoke cleared, the fight was a tie.
And Jolly's anger began to fly.

He cursed the island but I survived
to tell the tale to those alive.

You: Yikes, I'm outta here!

--> No thanks, not interested... outta here! Bu-bye.

Edward Brittles: The blades are there for I know these mines.
For I was a miner in happier times.

I will help ye if the others agree.
Only then will I willingly give you the key.

You: Others?

--> What do you mean by, others? I thought you were alone!

Edward Brittles: I may be daft but I know what I speak.
There are others who desire the blades that you seek.

Search the buildings and meet me fellow ghosts.
They might help you out and be good hosts.

But steer clear of ghosts you'll see in the streets.
If you happen upon them, hurry your feet... in other words, RUN!

(Ghost: Fishmeister Intro)

Thomas Fishmeister: Helping out ole Edward, are ya? He's daft, but no ghost.
How do I know that?

I'm one - and we know our own, we do. Now, help me with some fishing, and perhaps I'll help you...

You: Fishing? Why fishing?

--> Sorry to be nosey, mate but if you're a ghost, why do you need fish?

You: I love fishing!

--> Just give me a pole and I'm happy to help!

Thomas Fishmeister: You see, in life, I was a fisherman and supplied the island with fish.
But when Jolly attacked, some of the townsfolk went in hiding... and starved.

I feel somehow... responsible and will never let that happen again.
Help me and the other friendly ghosts and you'll get what you need.

That's good news, mate! Catching fish for me and doing good deeds for the other friendly ghosts will grant you entrance to the mines!

(Ghosts: Fishmeister Catch Fish After)

Thomas Fishmeister: Well done! Now help the other friendly ghosts if you havn't done so already and get into the mine...

Between you and me, who ever gets those cursed blades to Captain Sparrow will be areal hero, eh?

(Ghost: Zigana Brew Potions Intro)

Madam Zigana: Shiver me bones! Are ye one of...
the living
?

Must be, so I'll query a small favor of ye...
Help me restore me Voodoo staff that Jolly Roger broke and I'll help ye on that mine key. Deal?

You: No Problem.

--> You got a deal Madam, I'm off to the Potion Brewing tables right now!

You: What happened to you?

--> What happened to you during Jolly's attack?

You: What if I don't?

--> Why should I help you? What's in it for me?

Madam Zigana: I'll tell you a bit of a story 'cause it grieves me spirit to even speak of it...

Jolly was enraged that he lost some of El Patron's weapons in the battle...

so that devil cursed what was left of our humple island, and...

I want revenge!

Why you feckless weasel, I ought to...

Sorry, I'm a bit testy since JOLLY ROGER CURSED ME!
So if ye want the key to the mine... do as I ask?

You: Glad to help!

--> Sure, Madam Zigana, I'm glad to help!

You: No way I am gonna help you!

--> Sorry Madam, but I'm outta here!

(Ghosts: Zigana Potion Brew After)

Madam Zigana: So you got them all, eh? Well done, well done indeed.

(Ghosts: Fantifico visit Tia Dalma Intro)

Senor Fantifico: Si, I see you are a worthy Pirate. So you help Senor Fantifico, yes?
We help each other, yes?

I have something you want. You can help me get something I need, Si? My need is simple - I merely want to...LIVE AGAIN! You ge me potion to live again, I help you with Edward's key. We have deal, yes?

You: Live again - seriously?

--> I will try my best but, I'm not sure that's possible!

You: What's your story?

--> You don't look like my most Pirates and Knaves around here, what's your story?

You: Sure, we have a deal!

--> I am ready and willing to help, Senor Fantifico!

Senor Fantifico: Oh but it is my amigo, it is! You just need to know the right people, yes? A certain gypsy priestess can handle that, now please, the more time we waste talking, the longer I must remain a ghastly ghost.

You have a keen eye for a Pirate. Yes, Senor Fantifico was not like the rest - I have impeccable taste and flair, as you can see! But alas, my life was cut short when I was...slanthow should I say, hiding from Jolly's attack? Yes, hiding. But I can restore my life with your help and then, I will speak to Senor Edward about your honorable deeds, yes?

(Ghosts: Fantifico visit Tia Dalma After)

Tia Dalma: Senor Fantifico!? Ha! He was a fool and seems to be one in death, too. Help you I will, but not for his sake... for yours. I want you to get the Cursed Blades of El Patron. It's our only hope to stop Jolly Roger. I will brew him a special potion.

You: What kind of potion?

--> What sort of potion are you talking about, and how can I help?

You: Will that do the trick?

--> Are you sure that it's all it takes? If so, I'll be right back, just tell me what needs to be done!

I've never done it on people - only animals, but it should work. These are the ingredients I need for the ceremony that restores life.
Collect them and return to me.

(Ghosts: Fantifico Potion Ingredients After)

Tia Dalma: You've done well, Pirate. The ingredients I have, all that remains is the sacred voodoo chant to resotre life. And you must learn it.
Listen as if your life depends on it!

Ok, I am ready. Go ahead.

Give Senor Fantifico the potion and chant this, Live as live and die as die, time to make the spirits fly. I hope for your sake it works. Now go.

(Ghosts: Fantifico deliver Potion After)

Senor Fantifico: You have done this, yes?! I am so happy, I dance! Now speak the chant and be sure it is correct...
or you may pay with your life, no?

Live as live and die as die, time to make the demons fly.

Live as life and life so lived, time to make the spirits fib.

Live as live and die as die, time to make the spirits fly.

You: What happened?

--> Tia Dalma said she's never done it on people before, sorry!

You: That's hilarious!

--> I guess your true self did come back to life since you were a chicken!

You: I did what you asked.

--> Tell Edward Brittle to give me the key because you did get your life back,......Senor Clucks-a-lot!

(Ghosts: Threadbarren Retrieve Sails Intro)

Widow Threadbarren: State yer business, Pirate!
Ah, so it's the key to the mine you be wantin'...It's a fools errand but it's yer life. Ye can help me by sinkin' every Undead ship around to pay back that vile Jolly Roger!

Yes! I hate Undead Ghost ships as much as you, Widow Threadbarren.

You: What happened?

--> What did Jolly do to you when he attacked?

You: No thanks. I don't sink ships.

--> No thanks, I am not that into sinking Undead ships. Bye.

Widow Threadbarren: Ye have the makings of a fine Pirate and sinkin' Jolly's vile ships will be a fittin' pay back for what he done to me, I say.

When Jolly Roger and his army arrived, they used up all the good townsfolk og our humble island. Me? As a seamstress in life, I was ordered to repair the sails from Jolly's damaged fleet. He swore I would live if I did his biddin' but alas......he lied, and snatched me life after finishin' the work.
Sink these undead ships and bring me back the sails I made for them.

(Ghosts: Threadbarren Retrieve Sails After)

Widow Threadbarren: Hmmm. That's odd. I don't feel at peace with this like I thought I would. But I suppose there be more of those boneheads at the bottom of the sea now, and that is good. I suppose.

(Ghosts: Clubhearts Disguise Intro)

[Note: Some may be from Ben Clubheart, and some may be from Sadie Clubheart, or some may be from the Skeleton Poker Bouncer]

Ben Clubheart: Ahoy mate, if ye have come to play cards, your luck has run out. But we may be able to help ye with ole Edward. Get some of our gold back that Jolly cheated from us, and we'll do our part, savvy?

You: What can I do?

--> I'm glad to help just tell me what to do!

You: What happened with Jolly?

--> What happened when Jolly attacked the island?

Ben Clubheart: Jolly quickly overran our sorry efforts to stop him so, like a cat toying with his catch, Jolly challenged us to a game of poker. Of course the scoundrel stacked the deck! And with every hand we lost a little more of our souls until, we died. Win back our gold and we'll help you get that key to Edward's mine. But be warned, it's not easy to get into a skeleton card game.

(Ghost: Clubhearts Disguise After)

Hey! What do you want, stranger?

You: I want to play skeleton poker!

--> I came here to play skeleton poker. Please grant me access to the parlor, or else!

You: Sorry, I'm not ready for this. Bye!

Welcome, Mr. Clubheart! Here is your access charm.

Welcome, Mrs. Clubheart! Here is your access charm.

Sorry, mate. The skeleton parlor room is limited to special guests only.

(Ghosts: Clubhearts skeleton Poker After)

Ben Clubheart: We done, good friend, well done!
We don't know how to thank you, only to say...we're happy to tell Edward ye have been good to us. Tha should get you one step closer to the key and...El Patron's Cursed Blades.

(Ghosts of Ravens Cove After)

Ah, yer back, that's a good sign you see For the only way you can get the key
is if me ghostly friends agree Now all have said your help was fine
so take the key to that wretched mine!

Although she was strong, Madam Zigana was no match for overwhelming powers of Jolly. She used her most powerful voodoo staff on Jolly and it barely slowed him. So, steer clear of red ghosts, which will be on Raven's Cove.(99% sure that that's the island by perdida surrounded by fog) And there are ghosts all over the islands... and more caves.

Sweet, this is so big it sounds like a story quest. But... now that we know some of the text, I think what we're all wondering is... what does the island even look like?

When it's finally released, I hope the island is as amazing as it sounds.

Jason Bilgemart 08-05-2010 06:42 AM

Hmm....Sounds interesting. So if there are new quest possibly coming out do you think they will bump up the levels again?:psmiley27:

http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/p...g.php?id=20920

MacIronhawk 08-05-2010 06:49 AM

Personally, I think so, because with fishing coming out, we'll be able to level up to fifty without having to do extra work, really.

I finished my weapons at level 48, and potions helped me to 49, and once fishing comes out, it will help me get to level 50.

If a new story quest comes out, and we have to be realistic with this, we'll probably get a level bump. I ONLY say this, because quests give a lot of rep, and if this is a story quest, why would they waste the rep? I think it's extremely likely we'll see another level bump.

Speedway Master 08-05-2010 06:51 AM

According to this, we get to defeat El Patron!

Test, or open? If it's test, it's probably just bug fixes, unfortunately. While test didn't have many fishing bugs, some were seriously annoying. Such as still leveling up, and crashing every time you do, after level 20. And the amount of feet disappeared for random reasons, too.

As far as Ravens Cove, I know Speedway Master just found this stuff out, but it could be until christmas time before we see these things. Or october, if it's a third year(third year, right?) anniversary celebration.

There's a month of invasions going on now, so we might not see any hint of this new possible quest until then, unfortunately.

There updating the levels today! I haven't even mastered yet! Plus very cool so there's a raven cove coming out! So I'm guessing getting the lost sword just got a bit easier.

Crestshot 08-05-2010 07:22 AM

Where do you get that information Titanic? they've made no hint at raising levels at all.

Speedway Master 08-05-2010 07:26 AM

I see no indication of that. I'm just posting what I found in the files.

The new dialog tree system sounds like a cool feature, where you say random stuff and get different reactions like Sam & Max games.

PS Did you know that Rhinesworth had ELEVEN fingers? Therefore, there are supposed to be 11 of his rings, but for some reason, the game does not give the last quest after you complete the collection.

Crestshot 08-05-2010 07:30 AM

Aye, that definitely looks interesting. Definitely not what I'm used to in pirates, but it looks awesome.

Also, while looking at that last part, it seems that potions DO have a place in the Caribbean as something more than just a mini game. It seem that way for the staff part of the quest. I suppose I'll actually have to work on those, haha!

No, no, no, that was just me saying, "I think that we might see the level cap raised once this comes out."

Speedway Master 08-05-2010 07:57 AM

Not sure if this is relavent, but within the ship classes, there seems to be a special El Patron Ship too. It was found next to the Goliath, which is a boss ship.

Sorry I think I was thinking of something else.

Rannulf 08-05-2010 08:05 AM

Great find Speedway Master!!!

Well this sounds like a challenge for my full mastered pirates!

p.s. I mastered all my weapons by 46 and had to grind to 50. This was all before the big April update. I repeated this as I full mastered my second after the weapon update. My third was a lot faster due to potions.

Jason Bilgemart 08-05-2010 08:08 AM

Sorry mate didnt mean to dissappoint you, game should be back up in an hour so it probably isnt anything major.

Speedway Master 08-05-2010 08:20 AM

The good news is that the Raven's Cove island model is already in the game.

The bad news is the latest version for Panda3D is too oudated to view the model, and I'll need Roger to rig it so we can view the island.

Jason Bilgemart 08-05-2010 08:28 AM

In the game? Where did you find that out?

http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/p...g.php?id=20920

Speedway Master 08-05-2010 08:36 AM

The files.

They seem to already have the models put into the game. They even have a minimap for Raven's Cove Mine.

Also... Raven's Cove comes with Ravens.

Jason Bilgemart 08-05-2010 08:40 AM

So is out on test or opean, or am i completely off?

http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/p...g.php?id=20920

Speedway Master 08-05-2010 08:47 AM

Neither. It's only installed on test.

Here are the Clubhearts (Can't tell whether they're a married couple or siblings):

http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/g...s_portrait.jpg

and here's the minimap for Raven's Cove Mine:

Nothing is out on test yet, Speedway is just posting that Ravens Cove, and some new quests revolving around the island are in the phase files.

The phase files are, and this is a guess, basically a map, for the game. When they add something into the phase files, the developers can have that certain piece of content released, or just have it sit in the files, until they see it fit to be released.

If it's in the files, but not released, they can change it all they want, until they think it's ready for test. And once all the bugs are fixed on test, it hits live.

Hope that cleared some stuff up. Basically, it's in the test files, but we can't port on the island yet, or do quests for it.

Jason Bilgemart 08-05-2010 08:49 AM

Oh ok, sorry not to familar with the phase files.

P.s: how do you access the files?

Well, I can't view and post the image of the island until Roger Dog wakes up... and knowing him, it'll take a very long time.

MacIronhawk 08-05-2010 09:10 AM

Let's compare the mini map of Padres to the new island, shall we?
It's a pretty decent sized island, and on the right appears to have a little bridge from one part to another.

Speedway Master 08-05-2010 09:14 AM

I promise to get images of the island soon. In the meantime, we need sleep. Night.

Expect lots of ravens.

Jason Bilgemart 08-05-2010 09:17 AM

Open is back up, im guessing they just fixed minor bugs.

How come El patron is alive in the picture? Isn't he supposed to be dead a few centuries ago? And According to this, we have to defeat him, but how can we kill something thats already dead?
Also it seems like you get the el patron sword for completing the quest (yay no more working with DH for the sword! hopefully...)

goldenpirates 08-05-2010 10:23 AM

this is interesting because jack whats to defeat him but i think it was that
http://i743.photobucket.com/albums/x.../dfsss-1-1.png and he falls down i found this from Disney Interactive Media Group http://corporate.disney.go.com/wdig/index.html

Captain luke 08-05-2010 12:37 PM

does that mini map of ravens cove tell us that ravens cove is going to be a main island?

No I don't think it would be a Main Island because of the fact that it's infested with enemies and the minimap has no shops like a dockworker and etc.

Raikel 08-05-2010 12:48 PM

Main island or not, as long as it has at least a jungle and a cave it should last more than a day to explore all around.

Eliza Creststeel 08-05-2010 01:38 PM

Notice on the island map, there are two dock, and is that a BRIDGE connecting two parts of the island? Like an old-fashioned swing bridge?

charle88 08-05-2010 02:22 PM

Great find as usual Speedway Master! Judging by the size of the dock on the left and the bidge on the right, I'm going to guess that Raven's Cove is a pretty good size.

I would like to point out that we pirates kill undead skeletons every single day in POTCO.

I would like to point out that we pirates kill undead skeletons every single day in POTCO.

Unfortunately, we don't. We just pummel their corpses until they can no longer function due to loss of legs, arms, having been ripped apart, etc.

Nice find, by the way! I think this will be fun. Very fun indeed. So, Jolly got there, got angry because he didn't find all the weapons, and cursed whatever poor settlement was there to continue its work, but undead? That would be my understanding of it, since there are skeletons playing poker and ghosts all around.

Wow, you guys are great with finding new things. :D I really like the look of the bridge. Can't wait for more news! :pirate2:

heartburn 08-05-2010 03:37 PM

The Raven's cove in the phase files looks like Tormenta. Like how some of the islands repeat each other, this one has a similar layout as Tormenta

Matthew Sternrage 08-05-2010 03:39 PM

The Raven's Cove phase file pics do not look anything like Isla Tormenta.

heartburn 08-05-2010 03:41 PM

The mini map does quite a bit...

Matthew Sternrage 08-05-2010 03:44 PM

It ain't. Isla Torments is way smaller, and has limited area to travel outside Cursed Caverns. Raven's Cove has much more, is the size of Los Padres, and has a bit of a cove with a bridge like from BPBB.

Machazzard 08-05-2010 03:49 PM

Wow, this is all awesome!! I have 2 favorite parts:

"Defeat El patron to obtain his lost treasure" ----- WOW!!!!!
"Jolly Roger's instituted a naval blockade - on rum. My sweet, innocent rum!" ------- ahhahha oh Jack! :)

Just thought those would be good to note in case anyone missed it. Btw, the mini maps got me very excited and i cant wait for the images AND the ravens!!

Jamesvsthekraken 08-05-2010 04:20 PM

Sorry, I hate to ask this but what picture of El Patron? Also where are the NPC character's that you mentioned, I can't find them in any tavern, and I looked in all of them except the SvS Island Taverns. :/ :bookishfj7::piratewheelgo2:

Chris 08-05-2010 05:27 PM

Whoah thats cool finally a new island!

Captain Charles 08-05-2010 05:45 PM

Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!

Captain luke 08-05-2010 06:30 PM

I think its a main island because in the dialouge and quests sections, it talks about fishing masters, potion brewing, and gypsys. Wild islands don't have any of that....

Robin Yerloot 08-05-2010 06:40 PM

I hope its a pvp place bartholomew!! I've been waiting for that for like.... EVER!!!

I also think it's a main island, though not like the others. There is a lot of space there, and I think a little desacrated city would be a nice touch to it. That could be where we find the ghosts that give us quests?

The NPC Characters aren't here yet James. They're in the cove. but yah, where is the pic of El Patron? Or is there none?

Jamesvsthekraken 08-05-2010 07:26 PM

then who was that, in that screen shot that Speedway posted?

Crestshot 08-05-2010 07:28 PM

Those were the Clubhearts. They'll be ghostly in Raven's Cove we're thinking. Go read over the story for the quest and such and they're in that.

Sven Osymthe 08-05-2010 07:28 PM

Those are the NPC's from the phase files, they aren't actually in the game yet. Or they are, we just can't access their location yet.

That's a portrait of the Clubhearts.... in their MORTAL form.

By now, they must be ghosts.

charle88 08-05-2010 08:37 PM

I wonder what El Patron looks like.

KeeperOfTheCode 08-05-2010 09:32 PM

Well, we know he has a pointy beard...

MacIronhawk 08-05-2010 09:49 PM

I'm still trying to think about how long this whole quest would be, and now that I go back through it again, it sounds a bit shorter than the Pearl recovery quest.

Perhaps this quest is inbetween the Pearl quest and a possible Kraken story quest with Davy Jones? They are using the actor voices(sometimes) for the characters in game, and it's possible they decided to put a little side quest in for Jolly Roger, so we get more of an idea of who he is.

And El Patrons ship... this sounds like a boss battle ship to me. I hope so.

Captain Del 08-05-2010 09:57 PM

I'm betting that this quest is just gonna be a side-quest that gets released along with the island, like the Casa de Muertos Quests.

Nice find, Speedway :)

CarribeanThunder 08-05-2010 09:58 PM

I'm doing some very weird thinking right now - could the Clubhearts also happen to be those two characters in the Tavern you used to be able to pass through in the old Tutorial that gave you your Sea Chest?

Crestshot 08-05-2010 09:59 PM

I only vaguely remember them, but that's possible. They kind of look the same, don't they? either that or they took the characters, put new names on them, and called them Clubhearts for the new quest, because people don't really remember them

No, because comparing these two "couples", they both look completely different. It's unlikely that they're the same people.

And is anyone else getting excited about fighting red ghosts?

Teehee, fishy. but yah, we all thought that he was alive because the Marceline guild needs a leader. It would totally make sense for him to be trapped on the island.

christopher cannonskull 08-05-2010 11:33 PM

Nice ive been waiting for a new isle new quests and a lvl bump up im fully mastered and nothing is a challenge to me now so i rly want new enemies and quests

Captain luke 08-06-2010 12:10 AM

i dont think that they will bump up the level again just because they released one new quest

Speedway Master 08-06-2010 12:13 AM

Here's the image of Raven's Cove!

It has a lot of nice caves and such. Bridges and docks are separate models, so you'll have to see them in-game instead.

Roger Dog is making an animated picture of a Raven right now. Check back real soon!

EDIT: Image removed for major corrections!

If you read the quest, though, it's pretty long. It's long enough that a level bump would probably be a good idea. Why waste so much rep?

And Ravens Cove does look amazing.(Unique, anyways)

Well, do we get to battle the Pelicans in the game? No.

Basically, they're the same. They're just for decoration, probably.

Sven Osymthe 08-06-2010 01:38 AM

They are more than likely like the chickens (roosters, whatever they are) already in the game. I wouldn't want to battle ravens anyway, there wouldn't be any point to it. Maybe if a swarm of them came.. then again that would be too much trouble.

If POTCO make them as enemies I'll hate POTCO forever..

That is a bridge!

Raikel 08-06-2010 03:16 AM

Looks a bit like freezezy peak from Banjo Kazooie, just add in some ghosts and some ravens and you have Ravens Cove. What I don't understand is why this looks like an island with ice all over the place. I am also guessing this will be a main island due to that sign pointing to main island sellsmen.

What I want to see most of all however is a secret room that opens to those who finish the quest or something. A room that shows pictures of Jolly Roger being alive. something of that nature could encourage me to continue playing this game.

If you're talking about the colors, that's what all the islands look like without all the brightness settings added on and etc.

WitchdoctorDan 08-06-2010 04:24 AM

Ok, so it's not exactly what we'd hoped for, but it is a mini-version of the two big things that have been anticipated. We have wanted new islands and a new story quest, now we might get one new island and a medium-length quest along with some new features. I'm satisfied :D

Machazzard 08-06-2010 04:47 AM

I think a raven would be a cool pet to have. Even if it was just a visual pet and didn't fight, it would be fun to have your own little creature following you around. haha :D

MacIronhawk 08-06-2010 05:20 AM

There's also about 5 cave enterances on the island, so I'm assuming there's probably more than just the one mine.

I'm just hoping that this comes before the end of the year, and that a quest with the Kraken comes before summer of next year.
