Is there an end to Cannon Defense. How many waves could there possibly be? Here's a pic of me getting to my highest wave... which is 63

NOte: I can't seem to find my picture anywhere in my files. I'm using an Asus laptop. Could somebody tell me how to find my screens? Thanks.

First how.. DANG, how in the world did you get to wave 63!? Hehe, no wonder your hand hurt so badly :D

To the best of my knowledge, Cannon Defense is a never ending game. So if you ever plan on going "all-the-way," you'll be there for a while :D

Wow, way to go on getting to wave 63. Must have been shooting with some fine mates. To find screenshots, follow these directions: Windows(Vista I believe):Click START, go to My Computer, click Local Disk, then go to disney, disneyonline, piratesonline, then you will find your screenshots. Windows 7: Start, Computer, Local disk, (in search box at top right) type in pirates, right click on that, click open file location, find screenshot folder (usually at the top), double click that, your latest screenshots will be found at the bottom of that folder.

For navy cannon you can go past lvl 30.

Congrats! I always seem to give up after the first ten waves, as it just gets very boring at that point.

I think that the highest wave possible would be wave 100 (I was guessing 50, but that's wrong). If not, it may very well go on until you lose.

You may have two separate program files. If so, here is how to find them:

Click Start button, Click on Computer, Double Click on the Hard Drive ( C: ), Double Click on Program Files (x86), Double Click Disney, Double Click Disney Online, Double Click Pirates Online, Double Click Screenshots.

This is how I have to get to mine. Now if you are on Test and this screenshot was taken on test, then instead of double clicking on Pirates Online, double click on Pirates Online Test and then the screenshots. Good luck finding it.

The thing is though, I don't have a Screenshots folder...

If running a Windows 7 64-bit, you must go to AppData. To get there, put this in the search bar in the Start menu: C:\users\[Your Name]\Appdata
Ad from there, go to Local, then Panda3D, next is start, pirates, and screenshot should be in there.
([Your Name] is for your username)

That's odd.. maybe you should try installing a program that allows you to take screenshots.

Just a note though, an easier way to get to the Potco folder (it works for me at least), right click pirates online launcher on your desktop, then click "Open file location".

I doubt it's never-ending, as they have to program the difficulty and length of each level. But it seems it's a very, very large number.

Wonder if you get a legendary ram later... :D

I'm thinking that it is never ending. I think that at a certain level, they just keep repeating the length and difficulty. This is a guess, of course, but on a few other games with waves of enemies, this is the situation.

Also, if you don't have a screenshot folder, try scrolling all the way down to the bottom of the pirates online folder. That's where mine used to be before they got move to a screenie folder.

The only times the difficulty of CD ever changes is either when:

A: You have 2 people, three makes it harder, and so does 4.
B: When you hit Wave 14 - enemy ships get more health.

As far as I know, you could hit Wave 1,000 and it still won't end. If Dog made it to Wave 63, then there definitely is no end. Waves 1-13 are easy, but Waves 14-26 are a bit more challenging because ships are harder to sink. It's the same from there on as far as I know - Wave 27-39, Wave 40-52, Wave 53-65, etc. I really doubt there IS an ending unless you somehow crash....

Congratulations on reaching Wave 63, Dog - any achievements other than the Lv20 Repeater Cannon?

Did you get a famed ram during cannon defense for reaching wave 63?

If you have *never* pressed F9, you won't have a screenshots folder. A screenshot is only saved in that folder, when you press F9 to take one...

Also, if you are using a different program to take your screen shots, instead of the in game screenshots, then you would have to search in the files for that program.

Hmm here is how I get to mine. C:\Users\home\AppData\LocalLow\Panda3D\start\pirat es\screenshots. See if that works but dont type in in or it wont work your going to have to do what it says on the link.

HOLY CATS!!! I always thought it was hard enough to get past the first 12 or 13 levels when not playing with a full group. /bow to you all for that dedication! (Also...Freeze Shot = want!)

nice wave 63.. i bet it was super hard!! :D.. i allways try to play alone and my high score alone is to wave 35-40 no pass that.. but with another person i think it was wave 39.. but i wish i could get to wave 63 xD

btw in lv 30 in the navy cannon, those it happen another thing? change color or becomes more powerfull?

Dog,. all ppl who play with me is cannon svser,.. so they had very good aiming,, different for me,. me a sailor in svs,.. last score me the lowest..

i play a lot cannon defense with a friend and resenly we got to wave 49 and that because we know that we have to kill! the one with the treasure logo coin but eventually they left of with out money... can you guys explain tricks or how to star and what kind of ammo we have to buy in a wave or any kinda trick you guys do to reach so high : D plz help :dancetl6::dancetl6::skull:

yea it takes some mad skills!! xD :wheel:

we need coordination who throw specific ammo,.. remember,. cold shot and mine is important part,. do mines in end of waves and throw cold shot at beginning each waves,. that make easy to do firestrom or bomb,. never do shark bait,. that disney trick,. only waste gold and ur time,. hardest part is red lite sloop.. u need big bang with keg,.. besides that,. luck is other part of game,. its will be difficult if u lost one of ur team,.

ps.. never use CE,. or autoclick.. its only make more lag and hard to switch ammo.. autoclick waste ur ammo.. i ever play with random ppl using CE and its make ship move faster and u keep freezing,. so,. using CE is useless..

hey how come wend you lose they allways give you the old cannon ram.... and i got to wave 49 and a orange sail war sloop stole our last loot and they gave me the old cannon ram.... :mybadki6:

Igor would like to post our last run for the competition. Igor heard rumor of a 112 cannon defense run, so we tried our best to beat. Igor not know how long it take everyone disconnected at least once but Igor think took four and half hours. :dancetl6:

Well, it does end when the time runs out on the competition.

Also makes you wonder how you make it to 100+. I could make it to 100 with autoaims probably. But I wouldn't.
But manually I can only get to 30.

so there's a legendary cannon ram? I got a famed one on like wave 20 yesterday.

Sadly, the other day, I was playing Cannon Defense with my friends, and we got to wave 40, and my computer disconnected! After I came back on, all my friends said they got famed weapons! I was really annoyed that my computer disconnected after that!

Thats a little extreme isn't it? unless 24/7 cannon defense :laughks2:

I was wondering if someone could post a guide or some tips to get that far in cannon defense.
