When will the next date be for the closing of the trivia? Because last time i think it was Tep that said 3 months not sure.....

Scores should be reset fairly soon then scrolly names and awards will be handed out. After that, we'll be closing down #piratetrivia channel due to lack of use. We'll be moving pirate trivia to #vmktrivia as a selectable topic for trivia along with VMK and Disney.

If I may make a suggestion, I noticed that #disneytrivia was open. Do you think perhaps all of the trivia channels could be moved to that channel instead?

Your minds may be made up already to move to #vmktrivia, this is just my suggestion.

That's bad news Batleth. I find it slightly confusing to use. I will log on more often.

#vmktrivia has been operational for years. Though since VMK game was closed down by Disney years ago, that channel is seeing a lot less traffic as well. It just make sense to move pirate trivia to it since the game actually included a great deal of POTC and POTCO promotions and content within it.

We're already opening a new trivia channel. #pixietrivia for the Pixie Hollow Online game by Disney. It's popularity has steadily been increasing over the last couple of years since the game went live.

Our pirate chat channels have never been really that popular with everyone using ingame chats, vent, xchat, and other means to communicate. If at some point we see a change and the popularity increasing, we may bring back the channel with pirate trivia again.

Even though pirate trivia is changing, we can still give out awards to those on POF that still play it. There will be just a bit more competition since the VMK members will be scoring on the same channel. Considering the low scores that have been winning pirate trivia, I can see this as only a good thing to increase competition for both sites.

The banners will make it boom.

The Disney trivia questions are rather hard. For us pirates and I will assume that Pirates questions will be hard for them too.

It's been mentioned before on IRC... #vmktrivia is rated G and #piratetrivia is rated PG. Does this mean the rating will be changed for #vmktrivia?

And is it the top 10 who get the scrolly names? I hope so because im 4th

I honestly don't think we'll need to change ratings. VMK was almost PG and POTCO is not quite G-rated. We probably allow more innuendos on the forums than Disney allows in game. Gambling and drinking are probably the biggest offenders of the G-rating. Considering how little #vmktrivia has been used by the VMK members lately, I doubt we'll scar any young minds there.:laughks2:

I just decided to try it out and now I'm at 3rd with 325 I believe or was it 4? or 2? I don't really keep track haha. To be honest, I'm just in it for the Scrolly name :D

You sure? I just checked and it says I'm still third.

It's hard for Robin to be 5th, considering I was 6th. Robin is in 3rd at the moment I believe.

What happens if you win two times?

Like on two different Nicknames? I assume you'd just win once and the one person who was at 11 would get it as well.

If I read your question right.. it's like the arcade, you win it once, then it gets reset.
