How often do you get a Famed Weapon?
 

Lol im really not good at getting famed so i wanted to see how many ppl get famed weapons

For the past few days my luck has really spiked, but before that, I barely got 1 a week. So, I'll average it out and go with "Once a Week."

Also, just a tip, getting a Lost Relic comes down to two things: luck and determination. Luck can't be changed, just be in the right place at the right time. Yet being determined is also the key. Just keep at it, and in time, it shall come. :)

Del, quit complaining, some of us have gotten only one or none since the inventory update, which does not seem to be an option. My only blue weapon is a blunderbuss.

Once a week was the only choice close enough. For me, it's really about once a month or less. I only have 4 total since we began slaying Dark Hart for Skull Chests.

Where is the "Never" option? I haven't made any effort to get any, but it is what it is.

I don't see one part of Del's post that is complaining. Unless that's what giving a tip is called now.

i have to say the last awnser XD after i got my lost sword ( el patron) i havent got a famed weapon.... neverdid, and pretty sure that i never will :)

I don't know how you understood his post, but I took the "just barely" as a comment suggesting that that wasn't enough. I just think people who have multiple famed weapons and still complain about it ( not necessarily you Del, just in general) should think about those of us who have very few of them. I don't mean to insult anybody or hurt anyone's feelings, I just would like people to be happy with what they have.

I took the "barely got 1 a week" as Del saying just that.. he barely got 1 a week. He was just describing how many he got a week, not that it was a bad thing.

I agree though, people in general shouldn't complain about not getting enough.

I'll go with once a week. I only have 4 famed weapons (and a legendary one :D), but I got them alll in the same week. I have NEVER gotten more than one one famed weapon on the same day.

I don't need famed weapons. I am good with any weapon.

I have exactly ONE famed weapon! Hours and hours of trying, Darkheart, Tim, Tormenta, Outcast, different pirates, it just doesn't matter, only one famed weapon!

My brother had somehow got me two Lucky Charms... And that's just it... I haven't been plundering... or playing much, so I haven't got much.

I get them but they can be repeats. I have three corsaire cutlasses.:laughks2:I have 20 famed on my main pirate Catherine Dreadhawk. 13 different types. Doubles of Brusiers Cutlass, Bloodfire sabre, Sacred Pistol, Sacred Musket, Masterwork cutlass

I do change up targets, Darkhart, Tim Dartan, General Hex, Tormenta, General Sandspine, Remington the Vicous, Neban the Silent, Stumps, Sailing

My luck has gone down the drain. I used to get lots of good weapons. These days, I'm lucky if I get a Loot Pouch, much less a Common weapon....

.....But Tormenta has been the nicest to me of all the places/enemies. I got my Shark Blade there. Even though it as well most of the time gives me nothing too great, I still prefer it over any other place/enemy.
Even my other Pirate has only 3, had all the luck in the world at first - a Masterwork Broadsword, Sabre, AND Cutlass ( Though the Cutlass mysteriously disappeared ), AND a Sword Master's Sabre - but then he just lost it....

Actually, the one time I've ever gotten 2 Lost Relics in one day was that one very day where I got my first Lost Relic - which was the Scoundrel's Pistol - and then I got my beloved Corsair's Bayonet a few minutes later. Both were from Tormenta Cave :D I love that place so much....

at the beginning when im out looting, then i get 1 like every 2 days on average from dark hart. but the last 2 days, just been leveling, ive gotten 1 each day, so yay. usually leveling gets me ZERO relics, until the last 2 days. 1 was from dark hart & the other was from lvling grenades on kh field. only once i got 2 in 1 day, in the morning & close to midnite that nite & after that day, it took me 7 days to get another relic rofl. only kno 1 dude who's gotten 3 in 1 day in a span of about 15 mins from darkhart.

Edit: Got 2 famed guns within about 1 hr & 5 mins of each other, both from Darkhart, xD same server the other day.

With my little pirate, I got a good amount of famed weapons when I was around level 30. Now that I am almost lvl 40, I rarely get anything good. Sometimes I get a rare mojo doll. Its probably because I have some of the better weapons already. Lost Sword of El Patron, Bloodfire broadsword, bloodfire cutlass and many more.

Weird my third pirate, Kitten got nothing for longest time and then on Neban the silent two skull chests in a row famed, a doll then a Kingfisher Sabre.

Like Gingeeann, i am after the black (and red) clothes and visit a lot of different targets. Most often with guildmates its DH, though. since the beginning i have gotten just 4 famed weapons, but sold two of them as i found them less desirable than some of the rare ones i already have. Kept the Golden Charm and the Masterwork Cutlass, though. They come when they come, and it seems very random to me.

I have none...

That is a good question, I only hsve one, a bejewled sabre, a famed sabre!

Every time I help someone on their voodoo staff quest, I get a famed weapon. Sometimes I'll get it in catacombs, sometimes I'll get it in Tormenta, sometimes sailing. But so far, helping someone through that particular rough quest, I've gotten at least 1 famed item every time.

At this point, I'm starting to wonder if it is triggered by chat. "Can u help me" and "ooooh, staff quest!" I suppose it just as easily could be triggered by someone nearby getting "quest complete" on a quest they have. I'll have to test that with the Port Royal bar's mercenary quest...

I have only gotten two and i havent played in 3 months i got them mid march early april

I need the lost sword!!!!

Today was EXTREMELY good. I got 5 famed weapons, 3 were the same rams, a sacred musket and another ram.

Well, at the moment I have five of them. Two I got 3 days ago and yesterday got one, all from Darkhart... But previously it was long time since I got any

I was thinking about one everyday.

Where are you having all this luck?

I got a Corsair's Cutlass after 15 minutes at Darkhart, and a Gatling Repeater Pistol about two months ago while training Grenades. I honestly think there should be a once a month and a hardly option haha.

I scored a Tiger Shark Cutlass (Famed) last night from a Mollusk in the treasure room. It's the first famed weapon in at least two weeks. Brings my rare weapons count up to six, including El Patron's Lost Sword. A few rare dolls, but nothing to write home about............. or post.

Got a (famed) occult voodoo doll from Timothy last night my first one in weeks. now I have five famed.

Ive got the Seven Seas Cutlass, Sword Master's Sabre, Bejeweled Sabre and The Lost Sword Of El Patron. I found the Lost Sword, The Seven Seas Cutass and the Sword Master's Sabre within 3 days of each other.

Edit:Ive also got the Occult Doll.

My boyfriend and I got 2 in one day.. have yet for one today yet, however it is only 2am here.

I've gotten El Patron's Lost Sword but no famed weapons...

I got the blood fire broud sword I got it 2 months ago.

i had a 3 day streek of fame findings but now its been a week and i cant find anymore!! i keep getting skull chests with junk. I WANT SOME MORE FAMES

i got 7 relics within a period of 2 days. I got really lucky i guess >.>
