Davy Jones?
 

You know a whie back i dug into the Phase Files . And before i saw the cannon defense cannon model in there and i was like what the heck haha. And i saw the potions. And now i saw davy jones O_o it showed BAM files of him and his attacks and his textures. It was pretty cool,and i thought this stuff was like from E3 but when the potions and cannon defense came out im like, hey i saw this in the phase files a couple of years ago!

AND IF I SAW DAVY JONES? Maybe he is coming to the game too...or it could be a trailer davy jones or a E3 bring over file. I really dought that he is coming to the game even though his minions are in the game. Oh and you can tell by my avatar picture that i like the potco davy jones haha.

So what do you guys think, do you think there might be a davy jones?

i would but how? i dont know how to attack and image or a sound. all i see is insert image, but that only makes you put in an adress. i mean i wanna know how to upload an image on this thread.

you need to save a picture, start a post on the forums, click go advanced, click the paper clip then click browse and find the picture and uplaod!
PS. i'd like to see these pictures and attacks.

ok maybe tomorrow or tonight cause i cant get on my big computer today and thats were all my magic is :D any way i found his attacks in handheld and gui. so look there and i bet you could find something juicy :) gl and if its not there idk what to tell you.

OFF TOPIC: What is and where is the phase files?

That would be davy jones! i'd like to know how to get into the phase files too.

The phase files are in your disney/potco folder,then scroll down and you will see them,people use panda3D to turn those into folders so we can view them more.

yeah ik but they have to be saving them for SOME reason, if they threw out the kraken, why would they leave this? that is what im kinda trying to ask you guys.
They might use it.

They might use it, and hopefully they do somewhere along the line. But just because it's there, that doesn't guarantee it will be used.

well ik that... You pretty much said it all Sven, i just wish they would stop with the mini games and actually add some movie charactars, i mean.... really Disney? making farting potions and hammer nails together mini games? is this the pirates online we know? or are they trying to make it a little kidish game like toontown im not trying to be mean but, if we wanted toontown stuff, we would play that game, but when i want pirates online stuff i want pirates online stuff lol

Agreed blaster. I do think that the potion and ship repair minigames are somewhat good updates, mainly because you CAN use the potions and the ship repair can repair your ship, but I would have liked to see updates other than cannon defense and fishing. Those Davy Jones pics are pretty.... cool/freaky. Hopefully they can be seen in the game soon, with maybe the kraken, and some stronger Davy Jones crew.... hopefully.....

Yea, i just hope they make Davy Jones and the kraken SERIOUS like there original plan.

I could make an animated picture of the Davy Jones model on my spare time (assuming the animations are there). However, my animator, Roger Dog, is away today.

I am confused with Disney when it comes to Davy jones and the kraken, because in POTCO's first trailers they show footage of both Davy and the giant squid. That was in 2007. This is 2010, and yet they still haven't released ANY new story from the movie. I could understand that the kraken would be very hard to create, but really would it take 3 years? Maybe they have just given up on the second story and have just decided to make more of these goofy mini games and fake storyline.

you are completely right jhonny, disney doesnt know which end is up, there also scared that if they put it out that they will loose there viewers.And they have the files of davy jones and the kraken. its just they dont want to share it with us.

No. If you've been viewing the way they've made story lines go, it's obvious that what all we've seen will build up to Jones. The problem is that they add story lines only once a month. But they are pretty interesting. I don't think anyone could be interested if all they cared about is whether the Kraken was coming. And no, Disney wouldn't be afraid to lose viewers if they release it. They will apparently move along the 4th movie's story, as stated in a news post way back last year. Enjoy the current updates as they come.

I'm pretty sure they do know what end is up they put out new content slowly on purpose. And what would they be scared of exactly? I highly doubt they would be scared to put out new content they would get more players not lose them when they do.

As far as the Kraken goes I actually could care less if they do anything with it there has been way too much time past the 2nd movie.


I would rather they create a new storyline somehow that doesn't necessarily follow the movies exactly.

I believe an incomplete full model is in there (or at least was at one time) Can anybody back this up? And give them a cookie! ^^^^
