USA did really well under pressure today. I'm glad too - after being ROBBED of TWO fair goals in TWO different matches

On the first there were 3 fouls by shirt tugging, this second one I haven't seen the match replay.

Ugh we are facing Deutchland I don't think that that will be going very well

Even the commentators, who were NOT all American, said there was no foul to be seen. And PLEASE show me a single play where there is not shirt tugging (at least a little ) :)

Italy out! What a game. The American (Continent) teams are moving to next round so far. Mexico, Uruguay, Argentina, USA, Paraguay. Lets see how Brazil and Chile play.

It's odd that the finalists from the last Cup are eliminated in the first round. Lets see what other Great team falls... Spain maybe?

J, Ghana was favorite to win that game. Uruguay will move on. Germany will move on. Mexico is being destroyed by Argentina. That game went through the same thing that England/Germany game. A bad referee call sent the game in a downward spiral for both Mexico and England. FIFA needs instant replay.

Not everyone can win, just be glad they made it that far. The loss will just make them better next time.

At the end of the day, USA is still USA and Ghana is still Ghana, so who are the real winners? That's just my take on the situation...

I like both teams. One is the last representative of America. And the other is a long time favorite of mine since the days of Davids and Bregkamp. Both teams play with heart. I can decide which is going to win.

However Germany Vs. Spain is an easy pick for me. I will pick germany to go all the way.

I think it's safe to say, I don't want TSC rooting for any team I like :D
