Still No Test?
 

Is it just me, or can we still not log in? It is well after 2pm pst. I can get to the character select screen, but thats it. AND, the maintenance banner is still up on the test site...

Weird thing though, around 3pm pst, I was able to get on..?

**But again, maybe its just my computer?

I was able to log on at 2:30 PST...

I can log onto the browser/program version of Pirates of the Caribbean Online Test but I can't play the test game on the site still and its like 6 p.m. Pacific Time.. that's just weird... :/

Desktop launcher works just fine... File your bug reports.

Aye, and the test server web site is still closed at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

So...What happens if Disney decides they no longer need the test servers?

i dont think they'd ever do that. It would be really annoying to get all of those bugs that are usually on test when a new update comes, on the live game

Day 3 now and the test server site is still closed. Maybe they decided to get rid of the test server site version of the test game?

I doubt they're getting rid of it, we just have to wait.

I think D pretty much do anything without the need to inform anyone. I always fear that they have disregard for testers and the test server. Anyway, i just think Web Test is just bugged for now so prolly bug report could do it.

I have been playing all along, by the way. I have never played on the browser though. I use the PC Launcher.

I just think they forgot to take the sign down for maintenance lol.

And in forgetting to take the sign down, they didn't reopen the browser version of the game..

Just curious - did anyone ever have success with any browser on WinXP? I've never been able to play anything other than the desktop downloaded version, on that platform. IE - nope. FF - nope. Netscape (lol) - nope. Safari (rotfl) - nope. The closest I got, was on FF; made it past "Preparing to set sail," then it got to a loading screen ("Building Navy forts..." etc.) and stayed there (38%) overnight while I slept. No other browser (on WinXP) has made it past "Preparing to Set Sail" though.

Test is back up for the website, but there's some odd problem saying the certificate has expired idk.

its a glitch with the server in the phase files you have a certificate that allows you to log on aparently its a glitch with them

I have XP and can run it on Firefox. Still prefer the desktop launcher but the browser works for me.

Ok it looks like they finally decided to reopen the test version of the test game on Monday.

How can I play the test browser... - I tried to log on and the expired certificate won't let me play - the load is taking forever... and is stuck on saying checking for updates. I can't download the icon because when I do, my pc speed goes down alot.

I don't know what to tell you guys. Try updating your browser maybe. I just tried to logon again and I had to redownload the whole program (all the stuff at the pirate select screen) but I logged on fine. I have WinXP and Firefox version 3.6.3

I guess it is just another silent week with no update to the test game. I was really looking forward to see something new on the test server for my birthday tomorrow but I guess not. Why the long wait for new content to the test server is what I want to know? I can wait, but it's been over a month. Geez.. :'( :( :/

Don't be quick to judge mate. POTCO is currently unavailable. Just maybe they're updating test. Just maybe....

and they didn't release anything :/ Here's a theory: maybe they are going to release the navy cannons mini-games and the shrouded islands together in an update who knows? It could be a possibility. :) Especially since it's been over a month since they released something to test.
