How to get rep FAST?
 

Hi all,


Does anyone know a quick way to gain rep for me to level up? I am level 29 and want to get to level 30 fast.

Here are my stats:

• 5734/21700 Rep
• Cannon: Lvl 16
• Sailing: Lvl 17 with Leadership
• Sword: Lvl 23
• Shooting: Lvl 11
• Doll: Lvl 14
• Dagger: Lvl 8
• Grenade: Lvl 8

Note: I have also found defeating enemies in Cursed Caverns to be pretty good.

Have you done the Clothing quests? or the Jewelry quests? they will keep you busy as well as gaining levels.

No, I'll try those. How much rep do they provide? Also, I'm not really big on clothes for my pirate.

Hey sushi064! I believe that if you stop worrying about levels, than you level sooo much more quickly!

But, if you go to tormenta and have a good healer, attune a bunch of enemies and run around in circles... got me from 49-50 in a day.

Not sure if you have done the Rott quest but they give you a lot of rep, but for a price.

I'll suggest the worse possible thing to many ever, Grenades LOL (i love them)

Thanks for that, but... Tormenta? My voodoo doll's not my strongest weapon, and even though you get more rep with weaker weapons, I don't think I would get a Stump down to critical in time for me not to be Knocked Out.

Nades at the fence in KH you can go from lvl 8-20 there easily and quickly.

True enough if he had started earlier say around Noto 21 or 22 but he is at 29.
i'm betting the vets are all gray for him now, but worth a try in case I'm wrong.

One good way is to camp out at Darkhart. I do that all the time. If you stand behind the fence at Darkhart, and throw grenades at him, it is an excellent way to level. You could also use dagger, and pistol. And staff once you get it.

Your doll is only 14?

Mate, in a large crew either on offense or as a healer - you could be cranking some points slinging voodoo!

On the 'Kill a Boss' front... think about the math. If you stand just shoot Darkhart, you might get 135-150. If you rotate weapons (pistol, grenade, staff, daggers, sword, doll, etc.) you can actually get as much as 300 from one Darkhart!

But, if you take on a slew of level 25+ enemies doing the same thing, you could be cranking 100 points EACH! And that adds up a lot quicker.

Do the Nades behind the fence at Kingshead. You will make lots of Rep and levling Nades as soon as possible is a whole lot easier than saving them for last

Dear everyone: if you didn't catch what Eliza Creststeel said, go back and re-read it. And read it again. And again.

(Note: you can kill Darkheart in about 15 seconds, but get very little rep when you do fast kills.)

Defeat 4 raiders in ~35 seconds for 85-173 rep each, once or twice per minute in catacombs.
Defeat 1 Darkheart in 50-180 seconds for 115 rep, once every minute or two.
Defeat 1 Remington in 90-300 seconds for 115 rep, once every few minutes.
Defeat 1 stump boss in 70-240 seconds for 115 rep, once every couple minutes.

(The difference is less dramatic with multiple weapons, but any-which-way you do it, bosses are a waste of time. They guarantee you get lower rep per minute.)

When your notoriety is 42 or higher, you have to move from catacombs to cursed caverns. But below notoriety 42, catacombs is the only place to be, for fast weapon grinding. Enemies in cursed caverns tend to take too much longer to defeat, when you are below notoriety 42.

True... I never really cared about my level until Lvl 29 so I could get my staff, and it felt like it took forever... Then at level 30 I stopped caring again.
