Do We Get To Keep Our Free Sigs?

Since this site is still in it's early stage, we got free sigs.
But my question is, do we get to keep them even if the site grows bigger?
I mean, I know the later groups of new members won't get free sigs, but do we (the early group of members) get to keep our sig option forever and ever?

Centurey 03-14-2007 09:36 PM

I hope we do, I really have wanted a siggy.

I hope so too, I've always wanted a siggy.

I sure hope my siggie will stay with me :)

Everyone who has received a free signature gets to keep it.
This information has already been posted. Use the Search button next time please.

Gee, that post was a bit strict and rude. Geez, you could've said it nicer.

PinkTinkPixie 03-14-2007 10:04 PM

Ducky said it as it is... there's really no other way to say it.

But anyway, I'm glad we get to keep our sigs :) I had a feeling we would. Just like we got to keep our UP's on VMKF if we were there when they came out.

I searched Sigs, and found nothing...
I'm not saying it's not there, but... Sometimes, threads are faster ways to get answers.
Let's not make a big deal outta it, 'kay?

And yea, I'm gald we can keep our sigs.

I hope they let the people that were on here like in the first 48 hours of it opening to the public, or whatever, get to keep theirs.

Ducky Wucky said that POf has already confirmed that we can keep our sigs.
But I don't know where that is stated by POf.

Silly Princess 03-15-2007 03:00 PM

Yes, you will be able to keep your signatures.

Just to add to SP's post.

Everyone joining since we opened POF to a certain date which we will determine later, will have a free sig for life of membership here. I'm fairly certain the cut off date will be closer to the actual release of pirates online game to open.

We have not heard any official word from Nick yet concerning free userpages, but there's a chance everyone may get one of those as well. Don't go bugging Nick for one as he hasn't told us one way or another yet and Nick is a very busy person. If everyone is going to get a free userpage as well, we'll be announcing that at a later date.

Just a reminder to everyone, we do have policy on signature sizes and I'm already starting to see too large sigs being used by some. I'm not going to send out any warnings for this at this time, but like to remind everyone of our policy instead. We do have a sig size require to help free up server space and page loading isssues on the forums.

"Signature Lengths" - Users should be considerate of other users on the forums. Excessive signatures cause the flow of the threads to be disrupted. Signature lengths over 10 text lines will be removed from user's profiles. This also applies to graphics that are larger than 500 x 200 pixels in length and width size. It doesn't matter how big the font size is as long as the total dimensions taken up by the signature text & graphic does not exceed 500 x 200 in pixel length and width.

So the total dimensions of the signature should not exceed this size:

Also, the file size of the signature should not exceed 200KB. We impose this limit as a courtesy for those on dial-up.

Thank you for posting that, Batleth. It took my computer a while to load the pages. O_o

Ice~

I didn't say it in any rude form. I said what was needed to be said. Please don't turn this into a fight.

So now that the question is answered. We can all be Happy! :D

For life? Wow, that's nice. On the VMKF wasn't it only a year? I'm still thinking about what I will do with mine.
