3 Skull Loot Chest?
 

:skull::skull::skull:Have you gotten a realy lame Skull Loot Chest?

I have, just a card, a tonic and rusty cutlass.

Then a regular loot chest has dropped a rare weapon, good gold and a shirt.

These types of things have happened quite a few times and at Darkhart or Timothy Dartan.

I think I have gotten it at Darkhart or Dartan as you said. Oh btw its Loot Skull Chest lol

I saw a pic of a loot chest with 3 skulls on it.

Almost all loot skulls ye will get will have 3 skull rating. Only some people have found a 4, but none that I know of have found a loot skull with a 5 skull rating.

I've gotten a few 3 skulls. I'm sure there's a screenshot of it somewhere in the mess that's my computer, but I can't find one.

i gotting like one 4 skulls it was pretty cool i forgot to take a pic tho and ya some of the 3 skulls dont have good stuff but then some do eh can be good can be bad cant win them all haha :D

Actually rubbish is almost the only thing i find in skull chests.

Rubbish IS the one thing you'll find in 3-S Loot Skull Chests. They're notorious for that. I'm already used to finding stuff I could sell on E-Bay for more gold than what the shopkeepers on PDF give, but sadly, the Caribbean hasn't invented computers yet.

Ik a dude who got his Patron Blade from a 5 Skull Chest, it also had 2 relics in the same chest as well, this was like the 1st or 2nd day after the looting update was added to the game tho. Good Skull chests seem really rare now, most of my Skull Chest have junk in them lately, seemed a lot better last month. Most ppl who get their Patron Blade is from a 4 or 5 Skull Chest.

Ive gotten a 5 before, but it wasn't to good. 500 gold, 2 cards and a miracle water. *Sigh*

Don't think it's as consistent as they'd hope for the Skull rating vs. Loot Content.

Case in point -

Last night, I'm in Murky Hollow and whack a simple Undead Brute. I get a sack. And lo and behold it contains a Privateer's Cutlass - one of the nicest NON-FAMED weapons in the game. From a SACK?

I understand what you mean. Loot Pouches and Loot Containers seem to carry better quality stuff more often than the Loot Skull Chest.

Also, there was one bit of Release Notes that said the Treasure Fleets would always drop at least one Loot Skull Chest ( See attachment below ). I've never gotten ONE Loot Skull Chest from them, and there have been times when I've stayed at sea through the whole battle, never landing, and always firing.

Is it THAT hard to get a DECENT Loot Skull Chest, or even a Loot Skull Chest at all?

yeah i played treasure fleets, i shot every single ship at least once and when they all sunk, i only got 3 royals and 3 cargo crates!. I plays playing once and someone only got 1 dagger asp from the whole skull chest lol.

The navy fleets dropped them like crazy the first time. Then it started to get LOUSY so much that I finished doing them for now.

Thats why I dont do fleets hehe.... The way the loot drop system is starting to get ridiculous, theres been many of times Ive gotten a 3 rate skull chest with nothing but crud in it. Then its annoying to find that the next drop to be a regular chest and find a relic in it :/

Yes, a friend of mine received a 4 skull loot chest.

Yea i never got anything good out of the loot containers. How do you get any famed weapons this way?

And I don't think many people are getting good facts from their friends that say they got four skull and five skull loot chests. If they did, I'd expect around three to four famed weapons or some really rare stuff.

Really? They did? I was fighting the Fleets ever since they FIRST came out on Test and STILL never got a SINGLE Loot Skull Chest. I don't even know why "ALWAYS drops at least one" stands in the Release Notes on Test. It's made me want to fight the Fleets even less than before....

Lost sword I found and all my famed were in 3 skull chests except for a Bush Master pistol in a regular 2 loot chest.
