Fishing Rod on test?
 

Just created a pirate and was looking at me weapons when i see ' Fishing Rod '.

What does it mean??? We can fish??? Any help?

Yes, that is one of the new mini-games.

At the moment fishing on test is not... exactly possible. Some say they can't play it. I'm going on test now to see it, but if two people say they can't play it, I'm guessing it's bugged.

Yes, now you'll have fishing to master. There will also be undead fish, once fishing works. There are around... 70 fish I believe, similar to toontown's fishing.

Oh great... so I have to sail even MORE? Lol

lol no its on the docks of the three main islands: Port Royal, Tortuga, and Padres Del Fuego, and it is a bug. The Land Cannon's Mini-Game and The Fishing Mini-Game is not working. I hope they fix this soon. :'( :( :/

I want to see people mastering Fishing. And everyone at Abassa fighting for a good spot to fish.

Annnyway, I hope they get the fishing back up! I want to see what it's going to be like. Is it going to be like Toontown? Or something totally differant? Only time shall tell...

I hope it is different and more interactive than Toontown's fishing game.

I hope this ties into the next story chapter. Where you have to shrink in order to fit through tight spaces in order to sneak into a navy fort. Or turn invisible to comandeer a navy ship. Or even burp in front of a navy soldier to confuse him and let your partner sneak in! I especially hope the fishing you do could be like going to butcher brown and selling it for a profit, or using them to get food for somebody for a quest.

I disagree that we need to be forced to use the potions.

If we need to be forced to use the potions, we should be able to do quests to get them, because you know some people will complain because the puzzels are too hard for them to do.

And there should also be another way to make DIFFERENT types of potions. We should physically be adding in ingredients, not doing puzzels.(I mean I think we should do puzzels for potions, but there should also be another way, just for the fun of it all)

Ha ha I can't wait to see how these "Mini Games" will turn out to be, and how others will react to them.

MacIronhawk, idk if ye have a test account, but getting past level 7 potions is hard! Lol

Level 7 was easy for me.. in fact, i'm breezing through the level 16 :D

Sven tell me how you do essences and souls, those things just destroy me rofl.

What I would really like to see is the ability to buy these potions. I would pay anywhere from one to five hundred gold each. I was on test very shortly but the potion making seemed overly tedious and time consuming just for about a minute of awe. Now that I have all war ships, I have nothing to spend on; I might even pay a couple thousand for a higher level potion.

I would also like to see these potions available as drops.

Ok, im now at level 10 potions, but cant get past the thing before the tiny potion. It is maddening...

Guys, a little trick I learned... Do all your potiona at Port Royal that you can. They only use 3 colors in the puzzles... PDF is the hardest place to do the potion puzzles... Some potions require you to go to a certain Island to make it. I do all others at Port Royal. It sounds silly, but it is SOOOO easy.

I'm at level ten now. It wasn't that hard for me. I've gotten better at the potions. Combos make it much easier, but the hardest part is making sure things don't pile up on you too fast.

Aye. I am almost to level 11 now.

I"m level 20. I'll post pics on me turning into a scorpion and stuff when I can make that soul. It's so maddening cause it's so dang HARD!!!!!

Can someone please post pics of the Growing Potion please? Because I haven't gotten that far and I would like to see what it looks like when you use the potion. :)

Im going to stop playing test for a while - as I plan to make level 50 with me second pirate within the next 2 weeks, and I will have to make it to 49 soon.

Dog, I would like to see the pics of you turning into a scorpion/crab... that will be great!

my final guess of this update coming out is this thursday, May, 13.... what do u think also crab photos would be nice, but what combat effect dose it do to u??

Good question Maxinum. I was wondering the same thing - what does the crab/scorpion potion do for your attack/voodoo/health?
