Finding El Patron's Sword
 

I am looking for El Patron's sword and so far I haven't found it yet. I heard you can only get the sword from Darkhart, is this true? Also, do you have to defeat the enemy with your cutlass of can it be with any weapon? Someone has bound to have found it, so could someone tell me where I could find it.

You can find it from any enemy, on any server. In the pirates news they said you can find it from undead enemies, the EITC, and the Navy, because the weapons were "sold" to the navy.

Whether that leaves Davy Jones crew out is beyond me, but people have found weapons from them, too.

Also, no, the sword is not just from Darkhart, and you can get it by using ANY weapon. I know there were a lot of people on Abassa yesterday telling people you could only get it using certain weapons, but that's false.

Don't believe what you hear from people. If it wasn't said by the developers, it's not true.

What Mac said, I found some guy who allegedly found out you can only get the sword from 5 to 6 o'clock. This is NOT REAL. I've found people who found it with any weapon they use. They use any weapons and you can get it from anybody. Darkhart just gives a higher chance.

Rumors...My alt found it & it wasn't from Darkhart. You may find it anywhere & it was a coincidence that I was using my cutlass at the time.

I've heard someone say you can only find it on "E" servers.....

I have yet to find it, but instead 7 Lost Relic Weapons - maybe it's my luck hating on me and not giving me exactly what I want, but rather something I would like to have....

I found mine on Barten server, while using my cutlass on Undead Timothy Dartan. There is NO set time to get it. I also got a Lost Relic from Dartan on the same day! I've also found a Relic from Darkhart, A random Assassin in Beckett's Quarry, and just found another one today from a random Seabeard in Tormenta.

Where can I find Timothy, I have gotten tired of grinding Darkhart?

Actually, he's also located on the Padres back beach. He's right by the entrance to El Sudoron. If you have a Voodoo or Witch Hunter sword, he's really easy to take down.

Ok, thanks I thought that was him but just wanted to be sure. It is so crowded in that spot with all of the other enemies, I may still stick to Darkhart.

Do you think the relic items are linked to rep? Do you have to be above say rep 40 to get el patron's sword? Or have your cutlass mastered?

My understanding from the most recent "event" is that any player could plunder any weapon, though if you are basic or a lower level you would not be able to equip or use the weapon.

I've been attacking all five of the mobs in the Thrall Lake area of Tormenta. Using a pirate blunderbuss (which takes out nearly all of them with one shot) I can go through all five baddies in about a minute (including the time to stop for loot pouches, and chests). I've noticed that I seem to acquire enough steel shot to keep going perpetually - with no need to TP for ammo. I got my El Patron last night from a Thrall in the lower area, away from the water - where only two enemies spawn. Took him out with the blunderbuss.

I spent about an hour in that area, so using my amazing mathematical abilities I had been through about 300 victims. I noticed a fairly consistent pattern - for each 10 kills it would produce about 8 loot bags, with every second group having a loot chest - and every fourth group having a loot skull chest.

This was the fifth night I spent in the cave, and have one relic and El Patron's sword to show for it (as well as heaps of lesser trophies and garb).

Aye, any ammo or throwing daggers you don't have the max amount of will be part of drops. No reason to buy these anymore, just plunder.

Nope! I've seen a lv 35 with el patron's sword, Cutlass mastered? I think it might require lv 29, or 28.

Everybody says it comes more often from darkhart, but I don't believe that, three of my friends got theirs from neban, (the assassin boss in beckett's quarry) I've been trying to find it, but I can't, unfortunately.

I've been killing lots of darkhart too but no patron sword so far. My friend said he got it from a thrall captain from tormenta.

I have a few of El Patron's Lost Sword. The first I received from a Kelpbrain on Tormenta. The second I received from a Gypsy on PDF back beach. Don't remember where the third arrived from but you definitely do not need to battle DH, Naben, or Remington to receive one. I have received only one relic from any of them ( a full moon special blunderbuss) . At the moment I have 18 relics. My suggestion, if you are high enough level or have friends to heal you, would be to staff Tormenta bridge for a bit. It usually provides decent drops. Also sail. Most people are obsessed with the land based relics but forget that there are relics for the sea as well ( cannon rams, navigational charts, and globes ) that are very usefull. Good luck in your endeavors and if they ever institute trading, i'll be more than happy to trade those swords for bright red, bright blue, bright green, or dark black clothing. I never use them.

PS: Lost Sword requires lvl 27 sword

Ahoy Maggie,,,did ye get them with your mastered pirates or younger ones? Still curious....not still really trying with my main if it happens it happens...but I notice my lower lvl pirates get lots of higher level weapons they can't use...lol...haven't taken them to Tormenta yet...but I think I will....;)

Its funny, cause Dark recently gave my main a bright red shirt...clothes all the time..and he gave me several relics sea and land...but no el patron...I am eager for trading too,,,thanks for the update.:)

I received Lost Sword on two mastered pirates and one that wasnt. I am curious as to the sea relics you have received. I only have 2 :zn3lhg: and besides clothing it's all I look for anymore. My pirates are seemingly allergic to clothing or Mickey is an evil monkey lord in disguise.

I received a blue navigators globe, but I had a brown one, and sold the blue by mistake... that was the first week of drops of relics.

..then I got a relic 'treasure hunters ' sea chart...I've put a pic below..and sold the brown regular globe as it was rank one...

.the other sea charts are regular rank 1's and twos that boost sail and turn about..etc.....I have only one sea charm , the wooden one which is rank 1 and only boosts treasure sense +1...I'm still hoping to find a gold one like Kat Five Knives.. tho i have maxxed treasure sense I use the blue chart as it boosts all sailing skills and adds +1 to treasure sense also...I am trying to save one of each chart on my younger pirates who are still getting basic charts and cannon rams off of navy soldiers mostly....I may have had more pics on a relics, lootchest thread posted the first couple of weeks....

i've got it down to 2 files that will tell me the data thing is i can't open them they are pkl if anyone can link me to a way to read pkl 1,000 casino gold to them

I'm going to suggest something to them, since people keep selling their relics. They should make the relics have blue outlines in the weapons page, the rares green, the commons yellow and the crude brown and any weapon you cannot use is already red.

That sounds like a very sensible idea, stpehen! I like it.

Cutlass has to be level 27, and I don't think that you could find this if you played 24/7

I'm just curious but considering I got a Famed Silver Repeater Pistol, which I can only use at level 21 I believe, can I not recieve Lost Relics unless my weapon is a high enough level to use them once I recieve them?

i got a rare gun that i had to level up to be able to use.

I found it on the assassin's boss with my second pirate: lvl 35

You can obtain any weapon but you may need to level up to unlock the weapon for you to use it.

ive been trying darkhart and timothy for over two months and i havent gotten anything. is there any better way?
