Mysterious Sightings Recently, there have been rumors in the Caribbean about some strange sightings. All the islands are filled with chatter but no one seems to know what's really going on. So what's the buzz all about? Read the rumors below and see if you can figure out the mystery.

Darby's Secret

During one of their trips to Darby Drydock, the Port Royal shipwright, many Pirates noticed an odd sight - some makeshift tables set up near his shop. Usually, Darby is not the secretive type but whenever Pirates asked him about the tables he would change the topic immediately and start rambling on about his Aunt Edith's belching problem. Now, Darby's embarrassing family secrets aside, we're pretty curious to know what these new tables are for.

What do you Pirates think? What on earth could Darby be planning to do with them?




Lost Journal

Speaking of strange happenings in the Caribbean, Sandra Tew was recently seen talking to Fabiola, one of the gypsies on Tortuga. They seemed to be having a very secretive, intense conversation. The Pirate who witnessed this meeting said Sandra then showed Fabiola something in her hand. Whatever Sandra was holding made Fabiola's face turn completely pale - just as if she was seeing the ghost of El Patron himself!

Shortly after that, Sandra rushed off and sailed back to Cuba. In her haste, Sandra dropped a piece of parchment on the docks. The parchment had some mysterious symbols and writing on it. We are completely baffled about what it could mean. Take a look and tell us what you think. We hope it's something good... and not an evil omen.

I was wondering myself how they were going to implement the mini games... guess we know now. Hope they are fun...

I'm guessing this is coming next week to the Test Game?

POTCO is heating up. Not much happened during the winter, and it's all coming at once now, lol. I wish I could find game cards :(

Why does it have to be mini games? Can't land cannons be for warding Invasions? Does it really have to be a mini game of all things? Also I just hope that Raven Cove will come with the next update

I don't think you're terribly wrong at all. I was actually thinking the exact same thing. It's next to the shipwright - that has to mean something, you would think. Of course we can only speculate, but it makes sense to me.

I think its going to be a Pie eating contest or Nathan's Hot Dog Eating contest.

no where near whats on the phase files (spoiler alert) darby wants us to fix benches for rep and gold snd sandra wants us to make potions that will have different affects on pirates like 2x speed.

Was watching D with the kids last nite and saw a commercial that said the Kraken is done and should be coming to the game soon as well as the ability to make potions that will give a variety of different atributes.

You can find said promo already posted in the Audio/Video section of POF. And it says nothing of that sort. It just implies that said creature is ready and coming.

OKay hit live and test. the mini games aren't by Darby's - think they jumped the gun?

...I saw an ad on Pogo games with my niece that showed the kraken...and might be what they are showing on Dis cable channel...

My friends been blabbing about ship customization for months now. If your right about that, there'd better be a wide variety of customization options or I don't see what the BIG DEAL is lol

From the looks of that promo, this may be some mini games of some sort.

I hope it's ship cutomization, but I'm pretty sure it's going to end up being mini games. Boo.

Given what they themselves posted, there isn't much of a chance that it's ship customization. It would be nice, but if you look at the image info (thanks again to the person that pointed that out to me ;)) it says "news_minigames_potionTeaser".

and i was watching tv and went to disney and there was something on about pirates online and there was a speed tonic

Well, I got a BIG update on the test game. But unfortunately, nothing is new. When i logged onto the web browser test game version of the game. :'( :( :/

hmm i may be think there would be an invasion in cuba.... since sandra i sailing there also she might warn tia dalma about this... also about the tables it could mean that we are ging to upgrade out weapons or make potions...? (each symbol means a diffrent think.. maybe onve could be for a protective potion one a upgrading damage potion and one a super potion?)

They probably are just not activating it yet, or something, lol

Two weeks later, and still nothing new on The Test Game.. I'm not complaining, I'm just saying It's kind of sad that it's such along wait.. for updates. :sadmh9: :'( :/:bookishfj7::piratewheelgo2:
