A Huntin' We Go!
 

Ahoy mates!

Well as ye've heard, those dastardly scoundrels of the East India Trading Company and Jolly Roger's Undead Army have gotten their hands on some mighty fine weapons -- And whose to say we can't get on that! After all, we are partners in crime!

Beginning on Sunday, April 18th, at 7:00 PM EST, we're going to be having ourselves our very own Treasure Hunts! Either on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays (or maybe all three!) we'll get together and head out in search of the new riches and wonders that have taken hold in the fair islands of the Caribbean.

ALSO, from April 15th, 2010, until May 1st, 2010, we are going to be having ourselves our very own Treasure-Hunting Contest! And how can you participate in this contest? Well, the answer be simple.. just plunder!

Every time ye happen to find a weapon which is of rare quality or higher, take a screenshot of BOTH the card of the weapon, AND you holding the weapon, which can be viewed by taking the weapon out, and hitting the "Face Camera" button. Your screenshot should look something like this:

And before you ask, NO, weapons from quests don't count, I just used that as an example.

Each weapon posted will equal one point. The person with the most points by May 1st, wins! Also, if you find the same weapon twice, it will still only count once (I know a few of ye like to slip in a cheat card or two -_O)

It seems that instead of Wabbit season, Duck season, or even Elmer season, it's El Patron's Weapons season. Sounds like fun.

Anyway, I can't wait for this. Let me see if I understand: Common and Crude weapons don't count, but weapons that have the "Rare" Title do?
Either way, I hope to see many people participating.

We had ourselves our first Loot Hunt last night, and what a blast it was! Even though Jolly Roger tried to foil my plans (as usual) we still manages to sneak in some solid time of loot hunting.

After guilding our new mate, Pain, we started out with a mad dash through the Lava Gorge and Catacombs as soon as we saw that warning sign pop up. We played around with a few of the baddies in there, until we felt necessary to pull out and get ready for the invasion.

After pulling out a win against Roger (:D), we headed back in to the caves, this time after bashing up Neban & Co. We then headed out through the jungle, and spent the rest of our time with Dartan (unfortunately, forgot to get a pic of our undead comrade.)

I can say confidently that we all walked away with a hefty amount of loot in our pockets. Thanks for all those mates who showed up!

Our next loot hunt will be Friday, April 23rd, 2010, at 7:15 PM EST. See ye there, partners!

Yep, that event was pretty fun. Had my share of lack of good ( And useful :D ) weapons, but hey - we all get that kind of luck some time, right? Look at me, I've got 3 Lost Relic weapons that Del probably hates me for having ( I know you don't hate me....... Right? ).
I'm hoping to do this again soon, Del!

Ahoy Partners!

Now that the Caribbean has been introduced to a whole new assortment of Lost Relics, I think its time we get ready to shove off once more! A few pirates in the guild, including myself, have been blessed with the occurrence of finding ourselves a Lost Reluc or two... but now, I think its time everybody else gets a shot!

We will have our next Loot Night this Sunday, May 2nd, 2010, at 7:10 PM Eastern. I'm looking foward to see a bunch of ye eager hunters there!

Ahoy hoy, mates!

Sorry this is a little late, the rum made me lose me calendar, my alarm clock (and my clothes,) but thats not important now!

First off, thanks to those who were able to attend Sunday's Loot Night! We had plenty of fun - raids, plunder, even a ship chase (:D) I managed to grab a few screenshots, too!

Heres Partners N Co. taking out Remmington, that darling he is! I even decided to get fancy with the spirally chat, too! :D

In fact, Remmington was so nice, he gave me my third Lost Relic, the Buccaneer's Blunderbuss, which I decided to nickname, ironically, Bucc!

And of course, we even decided to do a group photo. It was real nice, everybody flexed at the same time, especially after I threatened to give everybody a present in the photo... too bad your all getting one anyway!

Well, anywho, we'll be trying something different this week! Because Sunday is Mother's Day, Loot nights this week will be Saturday, May 8th, at 7:10 PM EST. See ye there, mates!

Loads of fun last night at loot night! In celebration of Mothers Day, we had ourselves the Mother-of-All Raids! We raided not one, but FOUR islands last night, heading from the lost caverns of Tormenta, to the deserted island of Outcast, to the forsaken fortress of Kingshead, to the volcanic island of Kingshead. A special thanks to those who made last night so much fun!

We began the night with an all-out raid on Tormenta. A kudos to Lord Davy Menace for leading our forces through the place :) Unfortunately, Del displaced his shoulder during the raid, and the others had the responsibility of escorting me out in one piece!

After that, we headed to Outcast, where we cut those stumps "down to size" a bit. After setting the place a blaze, and escaping just barely from the clutches of the Navy warships, we headed to Kingshead, where the pirates had 10 minutes to kill EVERY enemy in Kingshead. (Which they did, with 30 seconds to spare!)

Finally, under the cover of night fall, we headed to Padres for the final assualt. Our first objective was to disable the Navy of Fort Dundee. After managing to take out the night watch, we unleashed a complete fury of explosives down on the floor of the fort!

Finally, we grabbed as many pirates as possible, and prepared our final assualt on Jolly Roger's forces.

It was so much fun, I can't wait until next time! Speaking of next time, our next loot night will be Sunday, May 16th, 2010, at 7:10 PM EST! See ye there!

That was loads of fun! It was really nice to meet the rest of the crew as well as the guests. Hopping from island to island was a blast, and you Captain Del made it very interesting.

I managed to stay through most of it until I began to have connection difficulties... sorry I missed the work on the back beach, I bet it was great.

My personal best moment: That nice officer in Kingshead who gave me a pretty white silk skirt. Ooo... makes me almost sad I had to kill 'im.

Just so you guys who don't know me in the game know, yes, I'm the guy with the red/blue/green look. I call it the "Living Fruit-Bowl" look :D

Loot Nights are pretty fun, I must say - they just don't seem worth all the effort because all I usually get is stuff I would find on Ebay.

Now, I realize I haven't been on much this week... RL has been in a real pain in the back-side.. but not to worry, Del has something planned to make up for it! I realize that Loot Nights has become such a popular guild event, and seeing as I'm going to have my laptop with me tomorrow.. you see where this going!

Loot nights this week will be on both Saturday, May 23rd, and Sunday, May 24th, at 7:30 PM EST. Bring your raid shorts, mates!

There are a few partners around here who will be getting themselves a blue name tag this weekend, our very own Kat Crestshot, Liz McMorgan, and Andrew. So, to celebrate, we'll be going all out this weekend - after all, they need to get themselves some good loot now that they can use it, aye?

Well, as you all know, I cannot be on Saturday night to join you all. But have no fear, as loot night shall continue! Our dear friend, Raaem the Spirit (Dog Firestack on POF, and Pirate of Wisdom in the guild) has stepped up and will take my place as MC of loot night this Saturday, June 5th, 2010, at 7:30 PM Eastern. Partners are to meet Raaem in the middle of Tormenta on Tormenta on Navermo, where the Spineskulls are. He'll take it from there.
