I thought i would make a little poll/surey on bosses for what we want in the game most.Im just saying i want the kraken.

jolly roger.....davy jones? wasn't he simply a member of a band called the monkeys and also guest on an episode of the Brady Bunch :D

Jones then the Kraken.

I think all of us wold say the Kraken, especially since Disney has been talking about giving it to us for forever. Davy Jones I think should stay in the movie, except for the fact that his minions are on Tormenta. However, Jolly Roger, as it has been said before, is the Davy Jones of the game, so there's no need for Davy Jones himself to come in. The Caribbean would explode from a power struggle anyway if that happened. Jolly Roger is technically in the game as a boss in the invasions, but I wouldn't mind him being a part of the game as the end of a quest or something, but definitely not just out in the open. Beckett...I'm really not sure about. He's more the leader that sits back in the shadows and watches his minions do all the work for him, not the up close and personal one like Jones and Roger. I'd have to say no on Beckett. And finally, there's the "Other" option. If Disney could give us a completely awesome new boss that's unlike everyone else, have at it. I would personally love to see something like that. However, I doubt that's going to happen. Well, there's my two cents worth.

Good theory Crestshot,but davy jones is on the test server and NOBODY is aloud to tell you guys about this but the kraken is coming next month or at the end of march.Davy Jones isnt a bot or npc yet but if you look in the phase files he is there.Look at my avatar :D

Blaster, that just sounds like a rumor being spread around. Yes, I know that picture of Davy Jones because I've seen that same picture in the Wiki, but that's just his appearance in the game trailer. Not to mention, that looks like a very rough Davy Jones. Also, I'm sure it would have been mentioned somewhere on this site if Davy Jones was on test server. That's doesn't sound like something people would really keep quiet on, you know? I'm still sticking with my theory that Davy isn't coming to the game.

As it was multiple choice I picked the Kraken and "other".I believe other gives endless room and creativity to work with frankly,I would like to see some thing "other" come into that "Dungeon" Disney talked about in the survey a few months ago.

I'd like to see it go something like this. As part of the second story chapter we take the liberated Black Pearl out to sea, after Davy Jones on the Flying Dutchman. Yes, it would skate over the second movie, but it is close to what goes on in AWE. Just a thought. (Could care less if the -shudder- kracken is in it.)

wow i mean what i waste. You got something vauluable but oh no everything has to do with Jolly Rogers! oh so now they just take it out yeah real smart!

Those pictures are VERY old. Davy Jones and the Kraken have never been in the game, those were just for E3 or something if I recall correctly.

edit: I searched, I am not sure the exact name, but I believe the person who originally posted those said they were from E3 prior to the release of the game.

I voted Davy Jones! I would love to have the Flying Dutchman sailing around as a flag ship! Oh how epic that battle would be! I'd take that over the Kracken any day and twice on tuesday!!

Hmm, well, I think it would be nice if we first fought The Flying Dutchman, and then Davy Jones and his crew board our ship. After he's defeated, he returns to his ship using that warping type way he moves around places fast. He calls the Kraken, we defeat it, then we won the boss battle. It would be a pretty long boss though if we would fight all three at once!

Beckett would be a good boss as well. He would be up in a big fort, and our goal was to get all the way to the top and defeat him before we get defeated from the enemies lower down. Once we get to the top, we sword fight Beckett or whatever, and then he retreats and we get whatever we were supposed to get from him. ( I would think whoever gave us the quest would want us to retrieve something from him )

Jolly Roger would be a ship and land battle. We would first fight his ship, then when his ship is down and sort of sinking, he jumps off onto an island. We follow him and his army, then we have to defeat him and his army on that island.

All the bosses would be from a different story quest, and they would be in order from top to bottom.

The enemy I really wanted most was Beckett, but he would just be another EITC assassin boss, so I put down the Kraken. Also, they would have much better ( and cooler) graphics than just a regular boss. I hope the Kraken is coming soon ( we all know what "Coming Soon " means in reference to the Kraken lol)

Buck, I have to agree with all of that except for the Beckett part. As I mentioned in the previous post, Beckett would probably be another EITC boss, been there done that.... I think the other battles you talked about would make GREAT additions to the game. Nice creativity (much better than Big D's).

P.s. Have you applied for a job at Big D???

Im scared the kraken boss is never going to come.when they said that it was i fear they meant by Call of the Kraken.

1. Well, Beckett may be weak in person, but how about his ship (name?). Judging by his ship's appearance in the 3rd movie, I'd reckon it to be larger and stronger than the Goliath. Regardless of having land-based bosses, we do know that Beckett and Jones have ships we'd love fighting, and we all know the Kraken would be an added bonus at anytime.
2. But about the Kraken... how could any one ship actually sink it? Take into account the 2nd movie and notice that no one could really stop it from pulling their ships to the depths. The Black Pearl fought with weapons and an explosion, and, even then, they only slowed it down. Truth is, I'd never want my ship to encounter the Kraken in the middle of the ocean.
