SvS\Privateer- Has your ship been sunk by a "killer Sloop?"
 

Just asking… in Privateering, has your ship ever been sunk by a "killer light sloop" (thunderbolt fired, fury, etc?)

nope...of course that might be because I don't svs 0_o

Yup. Both my ship and my mate's ship have been sunk. Those things can be nasty little buggers.....

Yeah, when I do I get sunk by them sometimes. But there are a lot of ships out there.. :D

Yes, then the sailor of said ship came over to the SvS side I was on an started having a go about what whimps we were for porting. Why not to SvS.

Yes I have I understand that its stadigy but if they think they are so high and mighty then why do they not just get on a ship that people can hit? Unless they are scard they will sink =O

I hate those! Whenever im on my war frigate the little tiny sloop is always way shorter then my ship so I cant hit it!

Jack - go into a turn and your ship will lean over giving you a nice rake of them little devils. That's why it's also important to carry a decent crew as well.

Yes, I don't like those tiny ships.

ha ha,. lite sloop always bugging and hard to sink,. but if u had good strategy to head with them,. they will scare,.. never play with em in long range,. better get closed and lets ur gunner do best,. and,. lite sloop cant stand bolt.. so,. kill em with bolt,. ha ha,.

Yeah, if you havent chances are you don't SvS. I heard a guy say "its like trying to shoot a flea off a cat" lol and the little buggers sneak up in groups or while your fighting something else. A good Capt. with some good gunners can put them down fast though.

I sail a light sloop time to time in svs. I do it when I am not able to get a decent crew aboard! I have a pirate that I use just for svs. It can be very satisfying to sink big ships all by ye self!:pirate6:

That is a never for me! I sink peeps with me light sloop all the time. Its fun annoying them :D

i guess i'll try this sometime. i've been sunk by a light sloop.

Aye been sunk by light sloops. But of course I get a friend of mine to steer while I gun on cannon XD. My points are on shoot which is maxed, maxed fury, I believe maxed barrage, and maxed rapid reload, and then it doesn't matter much after that. Fury is the way for me.

I remember the first time I was sunk by a dinghy. It was one on one, I was in my War Frigate circling, trying to fire, next thing I know, my jaw drops as I realize that this tiny little ship just sank me!!

haha pretty much all I sail with my fave gunners is my adorable light sloop <3 lolol only 1 of my pirates has a war sloop, the rest of my pirates use light sloops. Haven't SvS in months tho coz my fave gunners rarely play anymore & I start lagging really fast while sailing on Andaba lately. Used to only have to relog like every few hours to get rid of lag, now I gotta relog like every 10 mins to get rid of lag while sailing =( Anyways better sailing light sloops tho coz in war sloops the most we've been able to get was like really low 20ish ships sunk in a row =( but with light sloops, we get over 40 ships in a row pretty easily.

Yes I have. But the funny thing was. I was being a killer sloop, when ANOTHER killer sloop sinks me! Why do they make things hard for me?
