Beware: The Casa de Muertos Guild Is Back - 2/18/10
Beware: The Casa de Muertos Guild Is BackFebruary 18, 2010When Jolly Roger needs something done quietly, he turns to the Casa de Muertos Guild. But who are these men? No one knows for sure but this we do know this... they're a bad lot. The Guild has come to find out what the townsfolk and Pirates know about the location of a mythical stockpile of power weapons. Some say these weapons only exist in the minds of grog filled Pirates. Others believe they are real and whoever gets their hands on them will rule the Caribbean.
The presence of the Guild is an ominous sign, so Pirate GMs will be there to keep an eye on them. If you dare to work with this clan - beware, they may talk nice, but they are vile... What: Keep an eye out for the Casa de Muertos Guild. What are they up to? When: All times Pacific/Los Angeles. Friday, Feb 19 - 2:00 to 3:00PM Saturday, Feb 20 - 2:00 to 3:00PM and 4:30-5:30PM Sunday, Feb 21 - 12:00 to 1:00PM and 2:00 to 3:00PM Where: Near the Gypsy, Romany Bev on Padres del Fuego |
Interesting..... *strokes his beard*

Awesome. I hope I can get to see them. Casa de Muertos definitely ripped me off last time.
|
um which servers/oceans are they gonna be on? cause they failed to mention where they would be..
|
i so can't wait and neither can the rest of the EITC. we got a new fleet coming out so watch out pirates ;)
|
Finding the Casa de Muertos guild is half the fun!!
|
Wait, so this hits test Wednesday, nobody can find it, so they put it live the same weekend? Then why test at all?

I agree Del - C Ray and I have been discussing that the post sounds like the quests will be there. I don't remember how much lead time the previous Captain Rott quests were. I am posting to the Grog Blog for clarification. It may be just to inform us of what is to come. (most likely)

Hmm this again. The first time this guild were giving quest were to start the Invasion. I wander why they are back again. Hmmmm.

This weekend on open server is a role-playing event ( excellent!!)....
.............The presence of the Guild is an ominous sign, so Pirate GMs will be there to keep an eye on them. If you dare to work with this clan - beware, they may talk nice, but they are vile.......... We may get a few more hints on the mysterious cache of new weapons that are buried somewhere on Padres. Who knows? The only way to find out is to go along and ask a few quesrions. ( but NOT about the kraken lol) |
Aye, methinks it is a type of preview of events to come ( and a good time to get a few clues by participating in the role-playing with the Host GM's)
|
I've hopped every A server and half the B servers. I have yet to find a GM. Has anyone seen them today?
|
I haven't found any either... maybe Jolly Roger gave them invisibility powers.
|
I found one on Abassa, 17 minutes late. Stayed 2 minutes cause pirates wouldn't stow weapons. Haven't seen one since. D really dropped the ball on this one.
|
Abassa is the worst place in my opinion to go for any Disney event. The GMs hop servers when they finish at one place, so that is probably why they were 17 minutes late. They are usually on the servers like Antik, and some B servers (and many more places). Having friends hop around servers looking for GMs makes it much easier, and I managed to attend 3 or so yesterday (didn't bother today).
|
I was actually server hopping on 2 pirates at once. I started on Antik, repeatedly hit every A server all busy B servers, most of the Cs, and even Vachira and Tortos. Nothing...
|
Really? Goodness, I couldn't escape thaat Shaw gm. It was like he was stalking me.
|
Today I found a GM, chat to follow. They were very forthcoming today...
|
waited 20 minutes on Andaba but no GM whats the deal? :(
|
Saw 5 GM Today, Nathan Gould, Jeremiah Dedman, Ezekiel Rott, Samuel Shaw, Ben Bowman, Captain Ellison Shaw. It was annoying really because the players would not respect the GM. The GM was telling the pirates please stow your weapons... players didnt do it... Ko'd... pirates are mad, even ruder than before.

Ok, promised the chat. This is just the chat from the first time I found a GM, the second is to come. (Sorry but I got so much chat it takes hours to crop it all then order it, and GIMP it into sequence.)
http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/g...hat_Part_1.jpg http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/g...hat_Part_2.jpg http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/g...hat_Part_3.jpg Now if ya read that whole novel of a chat they had, first, congrats, that's quite a piece of work there. :laughks2: Second, there is some very interesting information in there if you see past the banter at each other. For example, (though we knew about this from the current news of test) that more Rott quests are coming soon. Gould says "when we return next week." So there's a time frame at least on the quest. Rose finally gives us a name for these mysterious weapons, the weapons of El Patron. Now, I have heard a theory on weapons which I think is pretty brilliant. For those of you who have done the level 4 staff quest at the end we are told Roland wants the orb to raise an undead EITC army to rival Jolly Roger. I gotta say, that seems like one major weapon there. However, Rose specifically said weapons. Which leaves us still in the dark about just what they are. Rose also was talking a fair amount about who to side with. I think it's incredibly interesting that she referred to herself "I work for the overseers of the Caribbean." Now, we all know that just means she works for D. But whoa what a loaded way to put that. To me that has a connotation that the Marceline guild might not be all they say they are. That might just be me seeing shadows around every corner but when you say overseer I think someone who has their own best interests at heart. Make of it what you will. This is just my two pieces of eight on the edifice of chat they presented us with. |
TheHawke,
I believe what Rosa is saying when she states "she works for the overseers of the Caribbean" is that the Marceline Guild as a whole work for the Overseers to help protect the Caribbean and us pirates from the likes of Jolly Roger and his minions. Right or wrong, that be my 2 pieces of eight worth. :bookishfj7: |
I thought it was interesting when she said " there are also other villains hiding in the shadows..." does this finally mean the appearance of Davy Jones? or another new villain? :)
|
First, Thanks TheHawke for posting the chat logs.
The last time we helped Captain Rott we opened up the Caribbean for the invasions. So now we know that Rott and his guild be working fer Jolly Roger. We also know that Jolly and Lord Beckett have an accord and are working together. We know Jolly Roger invaded PDF looking for weapons caches. What is on test is the next chapter in the lore. Captain Rott is now calling for information about El Patron's powerful weapons. Why then is he asking us you say? Once you have completed Rott's quest several questions will be answered and a few more will be asked. I must say this has been a lot of fun for this ol' pirate. I can't wait to see what's next. I think this is to be your new content mates - I think Disney is going to continue to roll out new events every couple of months and just keep rolling the story along. We may not see the "Second Chapter" as you expect it to be. I believe we are already in it and I for one am enjoying the ride. Captain Whale |
Ok, so here's from the second time I ran into the GMs. I included some of my bad guy pirate Black Jack Lee's chat cause a little of Rose's made no sense at all without it.
http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/g...edium/Chat.jpg Thankfully not the novel of the first GM chat. This is just confirmation of the seeing the Muertos guild some time this week. However, Gould does say one thing I find interesting, assuming he's talking to Rose. 'I offer you work... a place of power.' I doubt he's offering us standard pirates a place of power. My guess is that was for Rose. It might be just me, but I sure would find it amusing to see one of the Marceline guild switch camps. Not that I think that would happen by any stretch, but I find it interesting that the offer is there. An there's my two pieces of eight on this. |

Hawke, Thanks for the additional chat log. Was only able to make one of them. Great to see the confrontation between Rott's crew and the Marceline guild.
