someone tell me what the new Casa quest is about? What is this new fleet feature and the ability to cancel all guild invites????

Raikel 02-18-2010 12:57 PM

Looks like we have another small update, but it has been months. They have half of my idea right, but they should make small updates weekly...

Ben Lockshot 02-18-2010 02:33 PM

Wow Looks like they are fixing most of stuff people want. I wander what the new Rott quest are for. Hmmmm:zn3lmd: Well im happy with any new updates they come out with.

The ability to ignore all guild invites is, I'm sure, a great relief to all unguilded pirates who are incessantly being asked to join guilds. Some pirates prefer not to belong to a guild or feel that they are not ready to make up their mind yet about a guild to join.
The no groggy when revived will have this pirate rethinking her present strategy about choosing to go to jail instead of waiting to be revived.
Another Muertos Quest? Hmmm...more evil plotting from JR methinks
Love the reduced damage to masts & sails. Really aids my smaller pirates.
The Expedition Fleet item makes me wonder if pirates should start sailing with more than one ship at a time to counteract these...definitely have to check this one out!

Ignore all guild invites.... MY DREAM COME TRUE!

I think I know what the Rott quests are about... Jolly must of not of found what he was looking for, so he's making Rott do it... But Rott is making us do it for some gold. So it has to be the wepons that Jolly was looking for. He must of not of found them soooo :buds:.

I enjoy the sunsets/rises and night sky, so I want to know, what does this update mean?

I'm guessing it means that the sky will remain the same across the Caribbean (i.e. the sun will rise/fall at the same time, the stars will be in the same spot relative to location.)

I just saw the pics from the fleet thing on The Helm. That idea looks very promising.

If I am recalling correctly I once recently saw the moon rising in the west as the sun set in the east....And the Dippers have been in the south as long as I can remember in-game wheras they should be opposite as the constellations' most famous star is usually known as the North Star.

Hey look!

Maybe it isn't exactly what I posted oh so long ago, but it is pretty similar.

I can't wait to try the attack on the fleet.

A Ship-of-the-Line wasn't a non-battle ship! :p You had a very good idea there as well as prediction....D just made it work with the story,a tad like an invasion at sea with a flag in place of Jolly.(I had invisioned with someone a few months back about invasions also including a large fleet along with Jolly's landing bergades where those land-based cannon defences would come into use.)

Sven Osymthe 02-19-2010 02:31 AM

The fleet needs to be toughened up. One ship with just a crew of 5 or less is capable of defeating it.. 5 or 4 Juggernauts and 1 level 79+ ship isn't as hard as it sounds...

On another note, the ships don't attack you if you don't attack them (at least in a light sloop, which is good.. but if it is that way for War ships, etc... it might need fixing), and they even shoot, as well as sink skeleton ships. That saved me a few times :D

I remember. I wonder if this means Disney ever looks here on POF.

I SAID it wasn't exactly the same as the suggestion!

skullduggery bones 02-19-2010 04:02 AM

I'm sure Disney reads ALL fansites both negative and positive to find out what their customers think of their game. But I expect their storyline was written well in advance of any ideas that may have been put forward here, or anywhere else. As for these latest additions, they're pretty good. The sea battle does need to be toughened up BUT the explosive shots that come off the Warlords and Intrepid were spectacular to say the least.
