What You Always Wanted In Potco
 

As we all may know, this is pirates of the caribbean, and we are pirates... so, to be good pillaging scoundrels we are... what would you like to be added to potco. I, William Swordcastle would like various things, but I am willing to wait (up to a year :degen:) for such said items of value. I for one am fond of my friends, so... I would love a fine isle for such said mates... I wish to buy NPC which will do whatever you tell them, such as be a blacksmith, a gunsmith etc. Secondly, I would love more locations, tis the caribbean mates, so many places to discover! Next up is some new weapon skills that the enemies have ya know the ones I be talkin about. New Weapons, New Upgraded Weapons, Gold Cap Raising, More Inventory, More Ships, Ship Customization, Forests to be redone, less lag, to have a tavern named after my guild (Dancer's Pride, as Lance came up with the name!, Its mine. Nobody else can use it), the kraken and other sea monsters, to see more of the main characters (Barbossa, Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swann, Will Turner, Davy Jones...), have a pet parrot, crocodile, and a bengal tiger, finally, to join an enemy group, prefered Davy Jones, Jolly Roger, or EITC. I would like to also see the islands look a little more realistic, yes I know its a game, but I have never seen a volcano or any other islands. More treasure to unlock, and have guild ships/flags.

I would like to see a kraken and a parrot or monkey that stays on your shoulder.

Well a better guild system is needed as well. I would disagree with seeing more of the main characters, as i believe it intermingles too much with the Movies' story. The game should be like Potc : Armada of the Damned. It should be an original story where we have our own story and adventures, not doing so much with characters in the movie. I completely ridicule the meeting with Elizabeth or William Turner, as between the first and 2nd movies Jack had no contact with them. Meeting with Jack, Barbossa, Tia and the best JOLLY was awesome!
More locations for me is that i want real Caribbean locations, vast and long, with new and hundreds of enemies and their ships. Exploring wild islands, going into a forest. A pirate crew that privateers for the Navy and comes to catch you..... Mainly Enemy ships must have proper movement.
Navy moving around from island to island, patrolling / guarding treasure fleets / merchant ships ( which we could also protect if we privateer for them ). EITC having merchant ships and hunting pirates. Jolly's ships in uncharted areas, and less in number, attacking ANY ship ( which includes navy, eitc, but not those who work for them ). Sea monsters in the most uncharted areas. West Dutch Trading Company in a special dutch island ( name any real one ). Spanish privateers around isla de la avaricia / protecting Spanish colonies from enemies like pirates. Same applies for the French.
I would basically love to work as merchant rather than a pirate for the Royal Navy and EITC. I would be a privateer for them, hired by either an NPC or GM.

BTW, I think that is why Disney sent us the survey-they want to please pirates of all ages for whick I give the Mouse much credit!

Kraken, ship customization, a new chapter, new "do's" (like hair and clothes), and going along with clothes, the color bright red, bracelets, new kinds of enemies (not just a revamp of an old enemy), redesigns of islands/forests. However, I don't expect some of this to be added.

I would like more gold, more space for clothes ( I'm out of room! Don't judge me )

Also were pirates so why can we pilvige places? I think it would be really fun to raid an island for tis loot. Also more ships, kraken.

A few weeks ago I found Walter on tortuga on a radom sever. So I asked him about the kraken... He got mad at me XD. He said you don't want the kraken to come out because it's too strong. Then he said to me to help ppl lvl up. So I think the GMS are getting a little mad about the kraken...

Anywho back on topic... I think you should have your own sever all to yourself and your guuild if you choose. They asked me on the survay if I wanted guild islands and I said yes soooo.

Id like the kraken and storms, its the best stuffs!! also maybe even a room in your ship like your ship put having a cellar thing

I would like, Captians Rooms in ships. Also Rent out a Bar for Private Parties with no crashers. Also Make your own flag and sails on your ship. Another is Make your own Tattoo. The Locker, new Islands. and last but not least, New story Quest. ( Idc if it is Kraken or not I just want a new story Quest )

For a private room just have someone with a new pirate or go and make a basic pirate for the sole purpose of a private room. Once the pirate gets to the first meeting with Jack sparrow in the bar everyone can tp in there and only those that tp in the room can get there. If you go out and try coming back in the door it won't work.

I'd like my own island, with a hut, much like TTO. Aside from that probably just more hairstyles :)

I would like for the enemy ships' cannon ammo to follow the basic parabolic path as dictated by elementary physics. It is unfair to try to dodge fire that changes its path in mid-air to catch you.

I got this idea from the compass tutorial... "from the darkness comes the light, on one horizon: the black guard, on the other: Jolly Roger's Skeleton Army". From the darkness comes the light sure sounds like choose jolly roger's side or eitc black guard to me...

i would like a setting that if a boat sank it would have a green "circle around it vivsible to other boats called pick up surviviors and u would be able to rescue them from jail as well thanks bye

If Barbarossa can have a pirate hang out why can't we.?...with lots of active type NPC's(you know, brawling, and singing....), mebbe treasure chests,as a banking system...card games where you can throw down one of your precious rubies to ante up,,,or trading tables....crewing up areas...more music choices...

Hmmmm, well, while I'm waiting for Pirates Online Test to update right now for the new weapons ect., I'll list a few:

Pets. Monkeys, parrots, small lizards ( gators ).

A PVP ONLY Server. A server entirely with pirates fighting and battling. That not many pirates would do a PVP glitch. The towns people would cower like during the invasions the entire time on the server. (There would be multiple PVP servers)

Singapore, the island in POTCDMC where Jack is to be eaten, (forgot the name :P) and maybe an island that has EXTREMELY high level enemies on the island with a town.

Good ideas Buck, I like them. Especially the Singapore part lol.

In me last post i never put what i want, so here i go.

I would like and island that is either completely skeleton, and ye have to fight Jolly Roger himself, like in invasions. I would like a total EITC island, and a completely Navy island. Ye could choose to either stay a pirate, work for EITC, Navy, or Jolly. Of course there would always be the option to switch.

I would like to see disney get my old account back :(

I was just thinking about these new weapons when i came up with something else! I think we should have the ability to learn to repair your ship. Even though most pirates couldn't swim, this is still a virtual game, and the pirates could swim under their ship to repair it or something. Just an idea. Also i think there should be other dangers besides ships. There should be shoals and coral we have to avoid, and sometimes would have to go around. Sure, this would slow down questing, but i think it would make sailing more fun to have a challenge.

Whoever asked Dis about hurricanes a while back(mebbe 'nother forum)....thats still a realistic idea,,,hurricane parties...all battened down...but if you're already out on ship and you see a squall on horizon...you could be a dummy and go thru it , go around it....or chase enemy into it, like in svs...and mebbe afterward cool drops, in chests, etc,...could wash up on shore or you could use grapples to get em like in the Dis games game....weather would make things interesting in a diff. way...occasional rainbow...seabirds....would be verra nice...mebbe not everywhere, bt at PR dock, certain beaches....seashells .... a hammock hangin' between palms here and there...better ocean sound on a couple of beaches....be great when you gotta decimate the shore critters for quests....and how bout quests that involve sailor skills? like regattas,,,,or coconut flinging contests....I dunno....near where I live,,,they fling a fish called mullet at a local hangout....its disgusting but enthralling...;)




And one more thing Disney,,,,how bout some steel drum music?? Calypso....something,,,,please....

I would also like to see an update where ye can zoom in on yer treasure chest map and teleport to a specific part of the island. This would make some quests easier and faster.

Another thing i would like to see is those 4 gaps under Tia's Mangerie, Rings, Chess set and something else get filled in.

I really would like to be able to call up a whirlpool.....a verra, verra, big 'un,,,to like....swallow up a big ship...like when you are about to sink and have lag,,,and no ammo,,,and your crew decide to all pvp instead of crew...lol....;)

Ooh summon a whirlpool. That would be great! It could slow down the enemy ship and do TONS of damage. But of course, like all powerfull skills, like desolation, it would take a while to charge. Maybe we could also have random weather everyday. Like lightning, rain, hurricanes, sunshine. I know that on Runescape when you sit in the desert for a while, you can start dying of thirst. Maybe with the weather it can effect which enemies respawn.

Keeping in mind the new update about to hit open I'd like to see the following:

Eye Patches
Hooks
New Ship Types
A Pirate Flag for me ship
More islands
New things to use my cutlass against! (How about Zombies?)
More Quests
The Flying Dutchman Roaming around as a Flag Ship With Davy Jones at the Helm!
Boss Flag Ships
Heck More Flag Ships!
Why Can't I capture a ship and keep it? Or Sell it?:piratear:
Maybe a Parrot too!

Ya, and like, if you can capture a ship,,,say a flag, instead of sinking it(what a waste)...mebbe you could capture an officer or special crewman....and get ransom.....like a random thing to sweeten the pot...)
And I still want me own hammock...stumpin' around on a peg leg and carryin' a fat parrot on me shoulder might make me lazy;)

Like I said in my thread, mass/multiple delete for friend/crew/guild list! I had a lot of old friends that didn't come on anymore from before I took a break from POTCO... I don't want to have to click 150 times just to remove 50 friends!
