Modern Warfare for WII
 

Does anybody know if modern warfare for wii has (preferably decent) online gameplay? I am not able to get any other console and my internet provider has hidden blocks against the online play for pc

I have read that the game is good online, but who knows. I would read IGN's review on it.

I just recently got it. All I can say is, nothing has changed in compared to the Xbox and PS3 versions. The campaign is still great, and the online gameplay is still fantastic. The only thing that has changed just a bit is the graphics, but even for such a low power console, the Wii does a great job graphics-wise. Right now, I'd say its one of, no, THE best shooter on the Wii.

no hes saying fps gameplay for wii fails, and not it doesnt because your account getting into it and moving it like a real gun, get the zapper :P

Do yourself a favor and dont buy it and save up for a 360.

He doesn't know what hes talking about, Shnoodel (sorry Erich :p) I know all the other FPS's on the Wii fail, but Modern Warfare for the Wii is exactly the same as on all the other systems. Don't waste another $300 on a whole new system, when you can get the same game, for the same system, for about 50.

P.S. I haven't tried it with the zapper, I prefer to use the remote and nunchuck. General Del, out!

All I can say is FPS for 360: Epic Win, FPS for PS3: Epic Win, FPS for Wii: Epic Fail. Why because you have to keep the Wii mote where the sensor thing can see it and if your not aiming at the bar it won't let you aim. To put it very simple, Modern Warfare 2 for the Wii is a Collossal Failure.

BUT WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT MODERN WARFARE 2! We're talking about the ORIGINAL Modern Warfare for Wii! I don't even see how the controls are that difficult, I have a great time playing it, with no difficulties at all. I actually like using the Wiimote, it gives you a better sense of control.

Both MW and MW2 same controls and almost same multiplayer.

Here are my reviews:
360
Games on 360 usually get DLC's first if it's a multi-console game.
Games on 360 have better graphics
Less Lag

Wii
If Wii would just take away the sensor bar, upgrade the graphics, and install more servers, and get more good games ( Halo, Fallout, GTA, Mass Effect, etc. ) then it would be near perfect. Really I don't see the need for the sensor bar, most 360 gamers have wireless controllers, and do we need sensor bars, NO.
Yeah so the only real problem I have with Wii is the sensor bar.

i didnt mean to spike an argument but i do agree with everybody here, 360 is better, but my dad is dead set against me getting one, no matter if its my money or not, and if i had better internet and they kept dedicated servers for cod6 pc then pc would own wii, but never 360, mainly for live, because you can even hook and xbox controller up to a computer

I have a Wii, and it is great. I've played the 360. Nothing changed from past systems except for graphics. Who cares about graphics? I mean, I do, but it doesn't effect my opinion on the game. I don't really have a shooter game on Wii at the moment, but what difference would the game be on 360, PS3, or Wii. ( Other than graphics :P ) And where else would you aim the Wiimote if you don't aim at the senser bar?? ( Which is most likely to be on or below the TV ) Would you put the senser next to the TV? Or all the way across the room? Just saying the senser bar is usually below or on the TV somewhere, so it is like aiming at the TV. And Xbox 360s are, like, 100$ more than a Wii. And Wiis have way more sales that Xboxes because Wiis are more family friendly and have better online stuff like download content and channels to post stuff on and you can browse the internet. Xbox has online stuff, but almost ALL their games are the same! First Person Shooters.....

I would so I do not think so. The Wii is not really good with Online Gameplay. For me it wil just not conect or stay conected. If you want good Online Play I would got with Ether 360 or PS3.

PS. I would perfor PS3 I think you get your Money worth with it being a good gaming System and Blue way player in one.

ahem, could you please read my other post before you comment, i am 100% unable to get a xbox or ps3 and a wii and computer is all i have, you arent helping me by telling me i need an xbox i already know that

Ok there is one thing that helped my Conection and that is buying there Nintendo DS/Wii Wirerles Conector. It help me stay Conected a little more. You can find it at Any Walmart, ToysRus Etc. Or if you didnt try it before Contact the Nintendo Help Suport They mat be able to help you change some Settings so it may work better.

Personally I think the reason most people buy a Wii is because it's more family oriented which is good for families, but bad for Hardcore gamers because there are not many good FPS's, RPG's, Strategy etc. for the Wii besides Metroid, Legend of Zelda, and Call of Duty. The real reasons I hated the Wii was because of the sensor bar not recognizing my Wii mote when I was waving the darn thing right in front of it, Secondly the shop channel was always down for me so I would have to update my Wii again which took like 20 minutes then I had to go into the Shop Channel which takes another 20 minutes and then buying something takes 30 minutes and by the time I get to play the game I have just wasted over an hour of my life.

Xbox is better to buy for gamers because of better online play. Sure we have to pay for our online but we get Party system to talk to our friends, a friends list that can have 99 friends on it, a real message system, updates that take 20 seconds, a marketplace that takes 15 seconds to access and better games. Some of the better games we get are Assassins creed, The Saboteur, Supreme Commander, Halo, Call of Duty, Grand theft Auto, Saints Row, Mass Effect, Bioshock etc.

There are a few words for PS3, better than an Xbox and it's getting the worlds most largest multiplayer online console game to date ( MAG for those who don't know ).

I have CODMW2 ( I call call of duty moderen warfare 2 that for short ) for PS3 and it's AWESOME!! I love it!! I know I might be a girl, but I still like it! Sometimes it's even funny! I know on PS3 that there's internet connection but I don't know about wii, sorry.
