Innocent John and Constance Sorrow Reunite...

John Moses was an innocent farmer, accused and hung for a crime he did not commit. Constance was his young bride who died from a broken heart. For all you Pirates who help stop Jolly's invading army, we salute you. And so do John and Constance! Since you helped weaken and distract the undead, John managed to slip out of Jolly's boney grasps and is now searching for his young bride.


John and Constance will reunite one last time to thank Pirates for their help before the ghosts find their eternal resting place together. Join us this weekend to personally witness this ghostly reunion.

anyone know when potc will "really" add something new and interesting to the game, other then little side things like this?

These side things are with the invasion. Why the invasion you ask? It has to go with the next updates of course!

does anyone have any ideas on when potc will add some new long storyline quests that might keep the long standing unlimited members busy, other then just for a couple of hours?

Someone said in another post that the kraken was coming before the end of 2009. Well considering that we only have a week left do you think that it could happen? I would like to know if there is a place to find any concrete information. I feel that everything with potc is a he said she said kinda thing. And it makes me aggravated!

If potc would come out and be straight with us about what is happening and when it is happening * and actually follow through with what they say, maybe less people would be upset and and people would have something to look forward to .POTC is delievering empty promises on there part.....

I'm all one for happy ending, so I'll definately be there! Can't wait to finally meet Mr. Moses! The only thing I don't like is that this event has a feeling to it, almost like its right out of a Disney movie, or a TV wedding... I don't know, it just does. I'll have to see myself how everything unfolds.....

Yay! Maybe I'll finally get to see Constance. Glad there is a happy ending to this story I've heard from all my friends.

I'm still not completely sure about the matter,but the two look extemely alike.....may be relations, or perhaps one more story twist.....But I can say for positive that the back town gypsy is hinted to have a story behiend her,i'm quite sure of that.We will have to ask a Gm such next time we see one,at least one that is answering Questions...I'll ask Sorrow if I get to it.

Lagfest 2009 here I come!!!! xD

Hey guys I'm posting this here instead of the "ghostly sightings" b/c this has to do with what is coming this weekend.

Today a few in my guild was fighting in an invasion on Antik server. I noticed Constance talking in local, found her blue orb, followed her, saw she was reviving pirates during the invasion. She even revived me!! She stuck around for a short time after b/c of the rude pirates who would not stay out of her house. Wish she could actually tell us what she wants to. I cropped and pasted the chat, gonna add it. If it doesnt show, let me know i'll just attatch a file then. Im Kate Goldwalker in the chat.

I was looking at DXD, and I saw there was John Moses, John Moses 3, John Moses 4, and John Moses 5. I wonder if it will be copies of the same person?

I love happy endings! Glad to see the couple will be back together. Constance always predicted invasions...Hmm...who will alert us pirates now?

POTCO has said nothing about invasions being in the next update.(except for the PDF invasions)

If you mean that invasions will be the bases of the second story chapter, that is false. Disney has released no information about the second story quest. We have no information as of yet to confirm with hard evidence that the second story chapter will be about davy jones, jolly roger, invasions, etc...

I can't wait to see the two ghosts meet, seeing as I didn't see constance at all due to me being busy.

I am really glad to see such a special closing to this story!! Awesome stuff - congratz to Constance and John!

:p All in the name of Jolly Roger. Never the less, i shall stay loyal to Jolly Roger even if i shall get knocked out. Actions cannot change me mind im afraid! And as i've said before: I have the instincts of a Villains Fan.. :p And it's roleplay stuff and i roleplay as a loyal follower of Jolly Roger(And Davy Jones.) just hope that others wont take the whole roleplay stuff seriously again.. "Why so serious?" :p

Besides, Jolly Roger's my second favorite character from the POTC/POTCO stuff, i cant help it! :p

You people who get knocked out are the ones who ruin it for the rest of us though - when you crowd GMs and are rude, they leave. So, thanks for letting us who'd like to participate know who to blame. =)

Wait a minute, are you saying that im crowding and/or being rude to the GM's? :o that's not what i meant though! I mean it's all roleplay stuff! Im not trying to be rude or anything :( Im just trying to do the roleplay stuff, just in a slightly different way :( If that is a form of being rude to a GM, i dont mean to be rude :( I just do the roleplay stuff, that's all :(

Just remember...Role Playing the way YOU want to and not the way that Disney wants you to is considered an offense. I know it seems silly but please realize the maturity problem that some of our fellow pirates have. All it takes is a single spark like "I'm with Jolly Roger...." to set off an event-destroying display of poor behavior.

Personally? I don't care if you're a Jolly Roger loving sith-lord. As long as you're having fun. Just don't let your fun intrude on the fun of others...

I have to say, the first few times I saw a post where you called yourself Jolly Roger loyal I thought ya might be off your rocker. :xgrin: But I totally get it now. Without the villain, how can the rest of us be the good guys? Good vs Evil is the whole nature of the game. If you had no villains to side with, just what would be the point of the game? Seems a whole lot less fun to me that way. I dunno bout the rest of you, but I'm a pirate, an pirates do love a good fight.

There are always people on who are rude for the sole and direct purpose of making GMs angry. People who get themselves knocked out just for the fun of it. I don't see where Kraken taking her own role as loyal to Jolly is that horrible. Right there in the post they say this is a role playing event. Kraken's role is, in some ways, essential to the game, as I mentioned. I myself have a very off key role for my pirates, when I get into it. When I really throw down the role play, I am the Seer, I am the Prophet of things to come. Bet that won't go over all that hot either. But I'll play my role, and I hope I run into Kraken, cause I'd really love to see her side in action.


On lighter subjects, anyone notice just how many servers these guys will be on at the same time on Wednesday? Talk about having a lot of GMs just to play 2 people. I'm guessing that's the reason for John Moses 2, 3, 4 ect.

Hold your horses there! Are u accusing my compatriot in evilness of ruining certain role playing games, just because hes saying that he likes Jolly Roger? I could go on to say that i like Lord Cutler Beckett, but is there hard evidence that im going to a certain role playing event and insulting the Game Masters and saying that im loyal to the Company? Kraken Guard definitely doesn't fall into that category and has attained the respect of GM's due to his victory in the mentioned contest.

Kraken Guard is never rude, he just supports the other side. He respects the GMs and keeps his weapons stowed. Hope to see you there Babidi!!

What's the fun of a role playing event if we can't say which side we're on?

I'm with Jolly Roger and during the next event at 4PM(or is it 4:30?) I'll be telling those two "ghosts" what I think about them. Jolly Roger will have both of them for lunch if we badies get our hands on them.

There's no fun in watching an event if the GMs don't say something like, "Oh no, Jollys minions have spotted us" because someone had the guts to say he was rooting for the other side.

Ooh this was such a great event! I love happy endings, can't help it :xgrin:
(Going to join the other ones too just for the fun of it, hehe!)

Really appreciate how Disney is keeping us entertained, even during the busy holiday season! :dancetl6:

It was great fun.

I was one of the few that went by John and told him that Constance was looking for him. Of course he seemed surprised and thanked us and went with her.



I liked how when they stayed still by each other long enough their "spirit forms" combined and only after a little bit did they disappear.

There was a lot of humor, too. Notice the "kissing" chat in the second picture. And constance joked about how they needed to move to a house by the beach.

Now I think I'll go play the bad guy... hee hee. But again, it was fun and I'm glad POTCO does these role playing events.

I also think you might want to re-read my post that you quoted. I am on YOUR SIDE. You want to mix it up then fine. Whatever. But sometimes...sometimes, mind you, the younger pirates among us use role playing as an excuse to cut up a bit. That's all..

Made it to Barano for the event. Tried an A server first that was ideal, but got booted. So, try again I did, and watched the entire scenario play out. Constance & John are now reunited...Sweet! They thanked the pirates for helping them. John actually said that he never trusted pirates in the past, but now realizes that we are very helpful folk. The couple met at their shanty in the Mire. Constance waited til John found her. The 2 exchanged a kiss then took off together out of the Mire away from all watching eyes. Constance did warn us that JR was not done with his evil. But, the joy of the event left everyone in great spirits...literally!

I must have misinterpreted your post but...

Saying that role playing the way we want to is offensive to Disney is a statement that makes me think you're saying we shouldn't have fun during the events and just listen to the GMs.

I for one had fun saying that I was on Jolly Rogers' side during one of the ten minute "shows" and then having the ghosts react to that. Others, and this surprised me, told me somethings I'd rather not repeat. The GMs kicked these people out but I was surprised at how many people thought you were supposed to just watch the event.

I don't see how you're on the side of playing the way you want to if you're making it seem bad to say you're on Jolly Rogers'. To pretend during the event that Jolly Roger is coming after John and that he's going to "get rid of him" is all for fun, and if anyone takes offense to that that's their problem.

The GMs are certainly fine with us taking sides and saying things like, "Be gone evil spirits" so why should regular players get upset? It's a game, and if the GMs realize that, some of the very serious players should, too.

The event today was fun and I hope to go to it again tomorrow.

Well...I finally made my way to one of these events. It was last night on Galaana Ocean. Not too many pirates showed up for this one but it appears that John and Constance have groupies now.

Comments ranged from, essentially, "Look how ANNOYING I can BE!!!" to "Oh my, I am crying over how lovely you are..." to the oddest question of all, "Can I ask you a question" with no follow up.

But I came away with a new appreciation of just what goes into these "events". While the whole role-playing thing isn't my cup of grog, I can see why it works on Pirates Online. It is amazing to me, though, just how little the "Ghosts" have to say. I have some decent screenies but they are just more of the same. If you want to see them, let me know...

Things I don't get though.

• People who try to get Ultra-close to the ghosts. Back up a little guys. There are plenty of other pirates there...
• Pirates who show up just fawn over the GMs. IS there any real information gleaned from these events?
• People who show up just to disrupt. Why go to the trouble? If you don't like role-playing, just stay away.
• Pirates who tell other pirates not to disrupt. Sort of makes them a disruption too. Ignore the annoying pirates and they will go away as soon as they realize that they have no audience.

Anyway, KUDOS to the Pirates Online folks who had the temerity to announce the Date, the time and the place of a GM Host Event. I did run into an old friend there who was not on my friends list (it was a new pirate of hers) so the whole thing worked out fine for me...

When I was there, people kept on dying because they were getting to close to them. I died too :(
