Here comes Captain Claus!
Yo-Ho-Ho! How are ye pirates? My name be Captain Clause, not to be confused with that landlubber brother of mine, Santa Claus! Well it be gettin' close to Christmas time, and my "Magic Sleigh" has pulled in to the Caribbean (of course, being pulled in by seas turtles, with my trusty lead, Torty the Red-Shelled Sea Turtle) to bring holiday cheer to all ye pirates! Of course, I be no patron of peace, if ye know what I mean. I be a rough-and-tumble pirate, just like all of ye, whose plunders are straight from the pockets of the Navy and EITC! And let me tell ye, this years haul be quite a big one! So, me being the great ole' pirate I am, I've decided to share me plunder with all of ye! Starting Monday, December 14th, and ending as soon as the clock hits Twelve Midnight, marking Christmas Day's beginning, I be roaming freely around the Caribbean, pillaging a plundering my way through the Caribbean, looking for eager pirates to join in my fight! Of course, what would I be able to do with all this plunder, since I be heading back to the North soon? Well, give it to all of ye, of course! If by chance you happen to pass Captain Clause (or better known as Delmaria Darkskull)'s path, simply whisper to me "Merry Christmas Captain Clause!" and I'll gladly hand out to ye 5,000 gold! A pretty nice Christmas present, aye? Here be all the details, nice n' organized: What: Captain Clause's Gold Giveaway! When: December 14th, up until Christmas Day. Where: I be in no specific location. But, me knowing that ye pirates be lazy, I'll be posting little hints once each day to give ye a little push about my location and ocean! How: If ye be so lucky as to see me (Delmaria Darkskull,) just whisper to me "Merry Christmas Captain Clause!" and ye got yerself a ticket to me giving ye 5,000 gold! (via poker, of course) I ask that if ye just so happen to be on me friends lists, or in me guild, that ye don't use those magical player cards, or that teleporting voodoo we got, to find me location. This certainly be a popular place, thriving with pirates of all sorts, day in and out. Unfortunately, I don't have enough plunder for all these pirates, so I've managed to escape to a point high above the crowd. Thank goodness! Now its your turn mates! Day 2
Ahoy there mates! Well, late last night, after meeting a few pirates, chatting up a bit, and making a few new friends (along with an unexpected visit from Roger) I shoved off from my first location! Now, I'm still a bit over worked from all the commotion of Tortuga, that I decided to move to a quieter ocean for today. And what better way to do it, than to go to the ocean where I can chat with me guildies? Anywho, I needed to blow off some steam, so I decided to take out my anger the ole' fashion way. And what better what to do it, than doing it at the very point of a crown! Well, there's todays clue! Just like yesterday, I'll be in my spot from 6:30 PM EST8:00 PM EST. And please, remember, do not share any information about my location! This means, don't give other hints, false locations, or any of that stuff to others! After all, ye want all the gold to yerself, savvy? And, of course, remember, once you find me, be sure to whisper to me the secret phrase! Good luck mates! P.S. Well, for today's clue, you had to do a little research. If you looked on my guild's thread, you would have known today's server was Navermo! But of course, what about my location. Well, it was a tricky one, and when I meant "top of a crown" I mean... the top of KINGSHEAD! Get it? Hehe, no?.... Ok :( Well, there were still 2 pirates who got this right. My hats go off to:

Day 3
Ahoy there mates! Well, after managing to fight my way out of Kingshea last night, I decided to make way for my last location. Now, me coming from the waters of the Artic Circle, I don't see much entertainment. So, I decided to head on out, and watch a good ole' ship battle! Now, I haven't been in the Caribbean in a while, so I wasn't so sure where to go. But after asking around a bit with a few privateers, I found out the best place to watch a ship battle! This place is known by many as the "SvS Capital" (what ever that means) of the Caribbean, where theres actually a wait to launch yer ship! Of course, my sleigh is no current shape to go privateering myself, as it got pretty beat up on the way to the Caribbean. But theres this nice little island with soothing, cool colors, and lush greenry near all the action, which acts as the perfect place to view the battle! Well, theres yer clue mate! Today's clue requires a little background knowledge of the POTCO Underground, so you'll need to go talk to those savvy mates of yours to figure my location! Just like the last two days, I'll be at my location from 6:30 PM EST to 8:00 PM EST. As always, no player cards, or hinting off other players. Lets keep this fair! OH! And remember, even if you've already found me, feel free to come and find me again! You won't get another gold ticket, but I'll be glad to take a picture with ye! Good luck mateys!! P.S. Well, Day 3 has ended, and I've shoved off from port once more! Of course, I had to dodge a lot of fire from privateers, as I sailed away from today's location of Ile D'Etable Porc, Andaba! Anywho, a bunch of pirates were able to make it through the cannon fire, and find ole' Captain Clause! Today's winners be:

Day 4
Ahoy mates! Sorry I didn't manage to head to a spot yesterday. Ole' Captain Clause had a few.... accidents. Anywho, I shipped off from my last port, to head on out to my next planned location. Unfortunately, all didn't go as planned. After sailing myself in to a storm, I came out the other end, in the absolute LAST place I could possible think of. Now, my sleigh lays shipwrecked, but it doesn't seem like I've been the first. I guess I'll just wait around until my sea turtles return with something to repair my ship, or at least get me outta' here. Well mates, its up to you now! Seeing as how I wasn't on yesterday, I've decided to put this in your benefit, for today. You know how tomorrow there be times 2 experience given to pirates? Well, for today, your going to have 2 times as much time to find me! I'm going to be in my location from 5:35 PM EST, until 8:30 PM EST. I hope more pirates will come out than usual to take advantage! Can't wait to see ye all..... if I DO see ye that is :D Good luck! |

Ahoy mates! Well, after being rescued by my sea turtles yesterday from that floating pile of sand, I head off to my next location! Now, I've always had getting a new sleigh on my checklist. I guess crashing in to an island only made it more evident that was the time. Why, my old sleigh was so old, it was more like an antique than a way to get around the Caribbean! I've already sent in my request for a new sleigh, though I'm sure this ole' guy won't be able to make it for a while. He handles ships, not sleighs, afterall! Well, anywho, I decided to go say hi to an old friend of mine. Hes recently stopped in the Caribbean, just like myself. But what I like about him, aside from his family members, be that hes quite unique! This be undoubtedly the hardest one yet mates! Good luck figuring this clue! If ye manage to crack it, you can find me in my location from 11:30 AM, EST (that means I'm not there yet, so ye get a head start!), til' 1:00 PM, EST. Good luck mateys! |

Hahaha! That was a hard one, huh? Well, you needed to dig really good in to that clue to figure out what I meant. Here, I'll break it down for those who didn't understand. Remember when I said my old sleigh was like an ANTIQUE? Well, doesn't ANTIQUE sound alot like the server, Antik? :D Also, speaking of the sleigh, remember how I said "this guy handles ships, not sleighs"? Well, where do you get your first ship from? Pirates! Thank goodness! I've been trying to contact you for hours! Now listen mates, and listen well, I don't have much time. I was heading off to an important event that was to occur tonight, but I was captured! Navy swine surrounded me from all sides! I tried to fight, but they soon overwhelmed me! I was knocked out, and dragged off. Luckily, I awoke before they took me completely through the cave, and managed to escape from their grips. But not far! I'm still hiding within the depths of the cave. I'm not completely sure where I be. Alll I can tell ye fer sure is that I be on the Cortevos server. Gah.... my head still hurts.... especially from the light reflecting off of the silver on the walls... Hurry mates, Captain Clause be in trouble! Ye pirates need to band together, to rescue me! Once ye find me, its yer job to lead me out! The first person (or group!) to liberate me from the cave, gets themself an EXTRA 5,000 gold (whether ye have found me before or not!) along with a picture! If ye find me and another pirate in the process of escaping, join along, and ye and the pirate both get the shot, and ye get to split the profits! Hurry mates! I can only hide until 6:50 PM EST! If I don't get found by then... well.... just hurry! |

Captain Saved!
Ahoy mates! Sorry I didn't get to post last nights winner yesterday. Time ran short after my the little "event" I had to go to, so I never got a chance to post it. Plus, we just got 23 inches of snow over on my end, so I spent the entire morning shoveling :xsad: Well, anywho, on to what this post be for. Luckily, last night Captain Clause was saved from the clutches of the Navy, from their hideout in the Royal Caverns, Port Royal, on Cortevos, by a lone pirate. After blowing the caverns to smitherines, the Captain was managed to escape the cave, with help the pirate, and was prevented the Navy from aquiring the.... um, never mind that. Anywho, last nights winner was................................. Aaron McEagle! Noce job Aaron! Ye've earned yourself an EXTRA 5,000 gold, and this neat little picture (I added a little sumthin' special, since ye found me so quick ;))

Now, I still be quite in a fragile state, as getting dragged through a cave didn't help me spine much. But, luckily, these dwellings be of no trouble! These Royal Soldiers, whom serve under their majestic queen, be so weak, I'm sure even the small Del could best them! So, I guess I just stick around here fer a while. There ye go mates! Ahoy mates! Well, after getting off that vile island Isla Perdida, on the Fragilles Ocean, I decided to head straight to me next location! Of course, before I could go anywhere, I had to get this annoying stinger out o' me arm (that queen wasn't so majestic after all.) So, I stopped in with me friend, Romany Bev, to see if she could get it out. Aye, she was very gentle. That gal sure does care about this ole' Captain. Well, I don't visit that island often, so I decided to walk around a bit. It sure did change since the last time I saw her. You can even see remains of my beloved ole' Padres! Thats all I have to remember her. But what I noticed most of all, was that ole, washed up shipwreck way out there. Reminds me of the time it I salvaged that shipwreck off the coast of Jamaica. Sure as a hassle trying to get that chest from the ship... er, nevermind that. Now that one was I tough one! Lets see if ye can crack this code! Good luck pirates! Yer gonna have a bit o' trouble finding Captain Claus... I mean, uh, CLAUSE, especially since I won't be there long! I be in my location from 6:30 PM EST, til' 7:45 PM EST. Ahoy mates! Really really REALLY sorry you didn't hear from me yesterday. The internet got pretty messed up where I was, unfortunately, I couldn't make it. Well, anywho, I'm going to start off by announcing the Day 7 Winners! These pirates really needed to piece together different parts of the clue to figure out my location. In the end, only two pirates figured out my location of Padres Del Fuego, on the destroyed dock near the Shipwright, Galaacare! These two savvy pirates were:

I've got meself a message from the Big Man himself! Here it be: Ahoy there mates! Terribly sorry I was unable to chat yesterday. As I was about to pull in to me next port, I was alerted by one o' me turtles that a skeleton ship twas heading towards Tortuga! I knew I had to stop that fool Roger, even if it meant missing out on meeting a few more pirates. Well, the battle raged for quite a while. Twas only me, head elf Dead, and a few otheer pirates against waves of undead! Fortunately, we pulled out victorious! After Roger ran like the dog he did, I managed to catch a word with Sparrow before he headed off to his next hiding spot (just like me! Haha.) We discussed a few matters, ones that which will remain secret, for now, so that I could figure out what exactly the EITC were trying to aquire. Well, the EITC have stolen a document, a book of some sorts, one that when used properly, could bring doom to all of us pirates! Fortunately for us, witty-Jack managed to sneak out where the EITC have the book from a drunken soldier back on Port Royal. But the UNFORTUNATE side, be it stands at the largest stronghold of the Navy and EITC. Aye, Kingshead. And the worst of all? They're going to use the book tonight, Christmas Eve! We must stop them pirates! We can't let them ruin Christmas, now can we, savvy? I need all the help I can get to defend Christmas in the Caribbean mates! Join me today as I gather up a crew to storm Kingshead, and defend our pirate spirit! I can't exactly give ye the server, because then it won't be a hunt! So, I'll make it as blant as possible, so as many pirates as possible can come and see me! I will be waiting at the main entrance of Kingshead, ON MY FAVORITE SERVER. I'm even going to give ye planety of time to do so! The time the raid starts is 1:30PM, EST. And feel free to come, even if ye gaven't participated yet! If you managed to find me, and you haven't so yet, you will still get gold! Just be aware, if you teleport to somebody, our team up with somebody, you will participate in the raid, and you will be in the picture, just not get gold. So bring your friends, your guild, anybody! Well it seems Senior didn't get that page he wanted to from the book. You see long ago Senior was a EITC spy and got in on these secret plans about this book. But Remington the Vicious found out and threw him in jail! Senior had been playing Captain Clause the whole time just waiting for him to help get that page Senior needed to rule the carribean. Captain Clause barely escaped leaving Senior waiting till next year to once again try and rule the carribean.

After Clause Left:The Plot Darkens?

Then Aaron McEagle came to tell about the old man in question,and was looking for him....Aaron left,then Senior came back damanding where Captain Clause was....Then it was said,the only one that can find Clause is the ELF,the one called Swashbuckler.....Then at this point it became a shouting match of role play: Panters In Crime and friend vs Old Man ,with the French Admiral,Lawrence Dockwrecker,looking on....Lawrence had to leave on French Privateering matters....It was then that the first battle broke out,An EITC Guard called Jack Scurvyhawk and Senior Citizen attacked the pirates,the war has begun and the as well the wait for the Big Man:Captain Clause!on another note,it was a great raid Del!The group up the the final battle.....I even had classical music running!Added to the efect.I will await the good Captain untill he returns.Good luck Captain. |

Merry Christmas from Captain Clause!
Ahoy there mates! Well, yesterday was me final day in the Caribbean, and what a way to end it! After a very successful raid against the wretched island of Kingshead, I managed to aquire the book which I had spoken of previous. Me and my mates then headed over to the Royal Anchor, where, after a bit of trouble with me mates, I destroyed all but one page of the book. I'd like to thank those pirates who aided me yesterday, and helped preserve Christmas in the Caribbean!
