Unlimited Players: Did you get your 3D glasses yet?
 

Pretty self-explainatory!

I have two paid unlimited accounts.

I have received one pair of 3D glasses.
I still await the 2nd pair for my 2nd paid account.

I have a feeling that linking accounts helps us pay for our multiple accounts, but then gives them a reason to treat us as 1 person, and skimp on the perks that EACH paid account should be entitled to.
All those families with several accounts, will soon have the kids fighting over who gets to use the glasses.... lol WTG!

We haven't gotten our POTCO 3D glasses yet but a kind friend sent us some other 3D glasses of a different Disney brand.

I got both of mine last week. And both are equally annoying to the eyes.

But now you can watch Up or other 3-D films with more people.

I received an envelope with the Letter and the Glasses November 20th - but since we have no starting timeline as to when they were sent (or if they are doing it through a process such as alphabetical order) I can't say if it was good timing or bad :)

If I go on past announcements on items sent vs. received though for myself - then these arrived much faster than anything before (my Unlimited Access Kit took 6 months... but these were within weeks).

I don't know when they started sending them, but didn't they say if you didn't receive them by the 20th, you were to let them know?

I received mine the 19th.

If you pay for the game using game passes u will NOT be sent anything from disney! Only Pirates Who Pay With Credit Cards! I Dont Think Its Fair But Thats How It Is...

So you got a pair for each of your accounts?
Are the accounts linked?

Both my accounts are paid via CC with valid information.....
I think they treat linked accounts as one.

Yes Zep, my accounts are linked, same billing and mailing info, just different names, and I got a pair for each. Seems Disney has confused themselves again on this one.

I got mine last week. Davy you might go out and make sure you account information is correct. If you have moved in the last 2 years this could be the problem. Good luck mate.

The one pair I did receive.... I received on the same day they posted the announcement. Guess I was in the first batch going out, or at least one of my accounts was.. lol.

Nope, ain't seen mine yet. It's ok though, cause I wasn't really over the moon about it when I tried it. Plus, already wearing perscription glasses, adding 3D to boot is not too easy on these old eyes.

I can definately appreciate that, although I dont wear prescription glasses, my eyes are aging for sure, and could use some help on occasion. Sometimes I wear basic readers for that close up stuff ; )

In my test with the 3D glasses they provided, it was basically the same as all my experiences with using the red/blue 3D solution. Distorts the rich colors/graphics of the game somewhat. However, the 3D effect works very well.

I have always loved the colors/graphics in the game, other than a few minor things here and there. I might mess with the 3D some, but I think regular ole play will be predominant when I choose to sail the caribbean.

I'm with you on that, I love the graphics as is. Even though I did get my glasses today, all it means to me is I can give my niece her Barbie glasses back. :) Prolly not use these any more than I used hers. Which is to say about never. :D

My glasses are going to be used in movies rather than in POTCO.

Uh i got my glasses before the email was sent out. =( . Sorry mates they're pretty cool i wish you best of luck to get them soon. I never did get the crew package though.

3D glasses? I know that maybe by now they might have stopped handing those out, but I have not gotten any glasses (yet?).

I have no credit card membership; I keep buying passes....Therefore I have no 3D glasses.

They were supposed to mail them to us? Or do we buy them on the site?

They hurt my eyes, and I have 2 sets... my first came late so I asked for another...

I think the 3D glasses idea is kind of wacky, but still cool. Since I am a Game Card player, I haven't received any glasses.

If the 3D glasses suck, what exactly do they suck on?

I got a 7 day pass on 1 of my accounts and I had payed for a membership before that on my other account so I got 2 pairs of 3D glasses. It took me 1-3 months in order to get it.

Haven't gotten any... it could be because I moved...
Anyways, even if I got a pair, I cant use it because I have glasses and because they hurt my eyes.

Oh, wait... I just noticed that you meant the 3D glasses that were supposed to be sent by D :laughks2: Well, then my vote would be no, not yes (I voted yes because I went out and bought some)

where do i get the 3-D glasses. i actually forgot about pirates goin 3-D anyway. if you read my profile this is a common problem with me
