Our Canine friend from the tutorial makes another appearance on Outcast Isle!

Cracks me up - you can see him sitting wagging his tail! AND... he moves to face you when you move! He gets up and turns!

LOL We got closer! I think we're naming him Stumpy after our dearly departed Stump pet. (He was sweet for awhile, but then became aggressive.)

I got on the hill by TPing to Thomas who was with me in the pics. No idea how he got there. =) I know its not easy tho...

It continued as James Howe showed up about 2 minutes after Sir Charles had left.
I told James we were worried should Jolly attack Outcast the doggy might fall victim to the undead hordes.
James sort of left after that. I think I am confounding and confusing them...

Argh, how did you get up by the dog? I must've spent at least a few hours the other day with a couple of mates trying to get up there. Our first initial try was to glitch on the two islands by the stumps. One part we went up into the air (like the Catacombs glitch) and tried to walk over. Unfortunately, when we reached the last island we fell, so the glitch itself is quite challenging. Congrats to those who figured out how to do it, because really.. it's no walk in the park.

The dog can be found on the little island off to the back by the big rock in the center of outcast facing away from the main view of the Caribbean [view of the game islands]

If I can find out how to do it I'll let you guys know. I'm pretty good at glitching. MUST GET TO THE PUPPY!!!!!

Char, Ale, and I decided to go visit the Outcast dog. Turns out we found poor little lost Sven! We decided to give him a nice home and a leash so he wouldn't get lost again.

Special thanks to Char for providing the leash! :)

Aww..How cute! Ya gots to be careful, though. Sven-gali has mystical powers! He can disappear in a moments notice...LOLZ

I'm glad we were able to give Sven a good home. I couldn't stand to see him all alone up there, but if he starts misbehaving I'll gladly bring him back, and leave him stuck there. :D

Well.. its more of a 'have to show' thing than a tell thing. Its easy, but not easy to describe!

well, friends and i have tried tping to one another close to the rock. was able to get inside the rock but were swimming under it. did notice that the dog was facing each of us. i had two accounts on at once. was crazy seening the dog facing both of my pirates, lol.

we did wonder about flying up there, but of course cant figure out that either.

Yeah, a ton of screenshots can be fabricated? The issue is, you show one person then EVERYONE knows how to do it and you can't get 5 minutes there by yourself. Druid has been out there with us, as have many of our friends. =)

Anyone who's asked for help hasn't approached us in game, or asked where to meet up. Am I supposed to seek them out too? =)

Had anyone contacted me, Id have been happy to show one or two folks who wouldn't tell the entire population of the game... in fact, I have shown a few!

If I was online... I would. LOL But I was playing Guild Wars today - its 'Wintersday Holidays' last day! Won't be on much. I play pirates at night mostly - later evenings.

1: Not sure if everyone knows about this.
2: Not sure if it has already been mentioned.

In the Tutorial Jail, look to the jail cell on the right of the jail cell you break out of. Inside it is another dog ( Or the same dog :D ). Kind of funny how there are random dogs all over the place. Let's mount a search to find more dogs - maybe even build ann ASPCA here in the Caribbean.

Edit: Not sure if the dog is still there, but you could always check!

I went to Outcast as soon as i saw this thread and took the following screenshot. Its hard to see, but if you look just above my character at the top of the hill, you can see the brown spot that turns out to be a dog, in better focus.

Now how to get on that hill lol

I figured out how to do this, another person anybody can ask and I will gladly show.

...I can fly to the island and see the doggy and get stuck in tree...if i pull weapon, I fall thru...can't spiral down tree like everyone else...aaaar...:ahoy:

i have a feeling that we may have to find a dog in the nxt chapter..... and we may get up to the dog or some thing, ( we may need to find it for some reason...)

Hmmmm, when I first saw him I thought he was the prison dog. But with these photos, I see that that's just a dog.

There's only 1 dog in the phase files.
That same dog appears in the jail cell right next to you, when you create a new pirate.
The recent video from Disney "Get Connected" thing, specifically talked about this dog - the dog that is in the original ride. "Q: Are there any hidden Easter Eggs? A: One our favorite four-legged canine friends here in the ride, makes an appearance on Outcast Island. But ya gotta look really hard for him, 'cuz he's pretty well hidden."

Dude! At the beggining of the game at the jail you can see him with the keys in one of the cells!
