3D Game, 3D Glasses!
 

Oh boy, this one really takes the cake. Too good to not share though. Anyone who knows me really well knows that I never got any of my founder mail, and they pretty much told me that my address was wrong and that they couldn't ship it. Well, I finally got them to do that and they promised I would have it by April, only it never came.


Well, now I finally got mail from Disney. What did I get though? A pair of 3D Glasses and a letter informing me I could now play in 3D. The glasses are even labeled "L" and "R" so I don't put them on wrong. :laughks2:

Well we certainly don't want you to put them on backwards, causing much strain!

I'm so jealous actually, Jack. I'll just keep using my ghetto 3D glasses I made from a manila folder, printer transparencies and wet erase markers. Well, unless they want to send me one. :psmiley35:

I went to a local book/DVD/video game store and bought a pair of ultra groovy, plastic wrap-around 3-D glasses. $4 on clearance...

Right..... and how are the deciding who gets these?

Also disney's record for shipping items is like 6 months.

Actually, I bought some cheap 3-d glasses off Ebay and the effects do work on my monitor, but it can irritate your eyes after a while...

Aww I wish I got a pair of those glasses.... Instead I had to use the old ones from the spy kids 3-D movie......... O_O

You got that right! My son won a "Twice Upon Christmas" DVD from a ToonTown contest in Dec '08..........we got the DVD in June '09.

I missed the last founder mailing also, so I won't be holding my breath waiting on these conveniently labelled glasses.

I didn't even bother to buy a pair. I bummed a pair from my niece's 3D Barbie movie to check this out. Ya, playin Pirates in pink Barbie 3D glasses, now how funny is THAT?:laughks2:

I used a ripped up pair of 3D Glasses I scooped up off the gym floors at my school. Just the two lenses, but who cares, I taped it. Also, they were some Nintendo 3D Glasses.

I must say, for an online game having a 3D Option, Disney is one of the ONLY games I've seen with a 3D Option. Nice thoughts, Disney.

You forgot to mention the really important message on the inner right earpiece: WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD. Not for children 3 years and younger. Not for extended wear, performing physical activity or outside play. Not to be used as sunglasses.

Just wondering how I could uh choke on these?

Might accidentally swallow them while you're trying to figure out which way to put them on. :laughks2:

According to Jack's Mail - you don't need a gold coin :) It says "Ulminited Acccess Player" - so I figure as long as you were a paying member at the time they decided to release the glasses - your set :D

And don't wear them as sun glasses hehe :D

Anyway, I got my 3D Glasses yesterday, even though I already got like 30 3D glasses from 3D movies and what not.

Oops, my bad :D My cold is playing havoc with my brain power ;) I'll be sure to correct it next time...

Oh well, I still have that extra pair. MUST I order the glasses, or do I wait? I'm too lazy to even pick up the phone.

I got an envelope on the 19th from POTCO... I thought it was a receipt or something...

Turns out - it was the letter and a pair of glasses :) (and since I have no children under 3 - I think I'm safe ;) )
