Do You Like POTC or Other Pirate Movies?
 

Do you regard the POTC series as the best pirate movies, or are there any other pirate movies you like best?

I like POTC, but I really like Peter Pan and that scurvy Hook. Mind you, I am talking about the original Peter Pan story, and not the Disney one. *shudders*

Treasure Island is a favorite of mine! But POTC is my number one movie.

Oh yea, Treasure Island. I think Treasure Planet, by Disney, was a great recreation of the movie.

POTC is my favorite movie series. ;) That's why I am so intersted in POTCO

The POTC movies are definately the greatest Pirate movies of all time xD

What about dear old Peter Pan and Treasure Island/Planet?

Peter Pan's good, but I'm not a fan of the others. POTC's still the best, in my opinion, though :)

Never seen any pirate movie besides PotC, and personally I think PotC is the best series of pirate movies.

I love all pirate movies, but i like the POTC movies the best. :)

Peter Pan's great, but the POTC movies are the best pirate movies of all. In my opinion, of course.

Arg! After seeing some of the other pirate movies. I dont know of any atm that beats POTC and POTC2 and soon POTC3

I would say POTC series is a little bit better then the rest of the pirate movies. Such as....

1. Captain Kidd
2. Treasure Island
3. Sin Bad

The original Peter Pan novel was terrible, as was the Jungle Book and countless others that Walt Disney turned into wonderful cinematic works of art. Don't shudder.

I enjoy all of Errol Flynn's Pirate films, especially Captain Blood. Without that movie, there definitely would never have been any POTC. I think that the POTC series is the best, though. At this time.

And just another comment - I really did not like Walt Disney's Treasure Island. It was too creepy. I liked Treasure Planet, though.

Pirates of the Caribbean is definatley my fav.
But I also like cutthroat Island.

PotC is by far the best, hence I'm a PotCO freak. :)

The Black Pirate This one's interesting. It's a silent movie from 1926, but was filmed in color. I got to see it several years ago, and it stuck with me.
